Everything was fine except the elevators weren't working and we had a lot of stuff to bring in and out, so it was a lot of trips up and down steps. We didn't get a chance to try the pool, it seemed to be operational, but didn't see anyone in it. Breakfast was pretty good, lots of waffle topping options. Staff was very friendly.

Check-in was a breeze, facilitated by a woman named Tomica (sp) who was professional, efficient and engaging. After that, the experience was not special. If you can get the nice price by reserving well ahead of time, this might be OK. But at the same day price of over $200, things like a decidedly un inviting pool and an uninspiring breakfast buffet, seemed shabby. It IS worth noting that every single staffer was extremely helpful.

The swimming pool was closed for repairs, the elevator was out of order, couldnt get the air conditioning to work in our room. Our room had no tv guide to watch tv. Staff was very kind, food was very good and kept up with.

The room we stayed in had a large wet spot where the air conditioner had been leaking and the room had a very musty smell. We were given a can of lysol. Also they ran out of towels when we went swimming. The pool was murky and had large chunks of hair floating in it.

The bathroom floor was extremely dirty. When I asked the front desk clerk if someone could clean it she didn’t know who to contact stating she was new. I then just asked for extra towels and put them down on the floor. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The toilet seat was broken and the shower/tub wasn’t draining correctly. So we basically stood in a pool of dirty water our entire shower. I don’t understand why this hotel had such great ratings. It’s old and very outdated but the cleanliness or lack thereof bothered me the most.

First room 223 smelled really bad like BO (body order). Got switched to room 101 and the bed felt like it is going to fall apart any moment and there were multiple black hairs on the bed mattress pad.

My daughter, granddaughter and I checked in about 5:15 Saturday September 27th. We got settled and walked over to MOD Pizza for dinner then to Aldi’s. When we got back we put a few things in the frig. and went to give our 26 month old a bath. What we found was a tub with mold around all of the fixtures, absolutely disgusting. It wasn’t until about 8:15 when sitting n the bed I noticed the pizza box. I took the picture and then took the box to the front desk. It obviously is an old pizza. The front desk was very rude and only offered 10% off. I was told we stayed in the room. Well, we weren’t offered another room. She said the hotel was full. SO, I’m guessing we were supposed to awaken a 26 month old, pack up our things and go look for another room in an area we are not familiar, over 2 hours away from home!? And if this hotel is full are the others? Seriously?? Very rude, passive aggressive staff at the front desk.

The commode in our Room 109 was so very low to the ground & didn’t flush well. The tub stopper had to be manually lifted to let water out during & after shower. We have stayed here three times and I never had these issues before. I think the bathroom’s need to be updated & even possibly into showers.

Bed was very comfortable. Tv selections were great. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again. My only issue was the website said the pool was open until midnight and it was only open until 10pm, my boys were disappointed as we did have a late check in. But overall the stay was excellent.

It was fine, and comfortable. The amenities were pretty good, but I was surprised that there wasn't a coffee maker Or an iron in the room. Oddly, there were coffee packets and an ironing board in the room, but no way to use them. I was given at check-in, a GrubHub/Hampton Inn coupon for $10 off a delivered meal which did not offer me a promo code or or anything. $10 was NOT taken off, which was annoying. Why give your customers a coupon that is worthless? The staff was generally good, but seemed a little unwilling to “go that extra mile” for a customer. My room wasn't cleaned, which was okay, but I wish if you have a different policy for house-keeping (like some hotels only clean rooms every other day, etc.) I could have that info. Giving a detailed review because it kind of was the details that made my stay good but not great.

The bathtubs in the rooms need to be replaced. They are too small and very slippery, very hard to take a shower. Also I would recommend right height toilets to be installed in bathrooms. They are old style toilets and low to the ground, very hard for older people to use.

Stay was great!! When checking out I asked for my receipts. Tamika at the desk gave me receipts with no totals on them. I needed them for insurance. I asked her again and she gave me receipts with the wrong amount. When I mentioned it to her she seemed to be very bothered rude. She said she couldn’t do that because I booked with a second party. If she doesn’t like her job she should quit. I’ve traveled all over the US booked all my rooms through Expedia and got receipts with what I paid. She wasn’t a good front desk person. But house keepers and maintenance was great. Breakfast was very good. If I come back I sure hope Tamika isn’t working the front desk.

We had a wedding to attend in the area and found the Hampton Inn a clean, satisfactory place to stay. Staff was quite nice and helpful. The inn was well stocked with incidentals if needed. Beds were comfy, nice linens. I found it somewhat overpriced, however nothing was disappointing.

The staff here were awesome and the hotel was clean. It’s on a very busy road and it just seems old.Our tub looked very old. We paid $200 for one Saturday night for a family emergency. Other hotels were sold out. We brought our dog and the dog exercise area is the curb along the road. Lots of little bits of trash in that area like they just mow over garbage. After we checked out we saw we were being charged $75. I called and they said that even though Orbitz advertises pets stay for free the hotel charges $75 for a pet. The manager said they would refund my money but it would take 3-5 business days. Check your receipt before you leave.

The breakfast was not very good. Grey sausage is not appetizing. Limited options. Red roof has a better breakfast. We requested our room to be cleaned. The front desk said she'd have housekeeping take care of it. That was at 1:30. We came back from shopping at 5:30 and still was not cleaned. By that time, the front desk said housekeeping left for the day and there's nothing he could do but bring towels. Very disappointed and will probably not stay at a Hampton again.

Nice, clean,updated facility. Breakfast and snack bar both had great selection. The only thing i would change is to lower the shower heads,not all your guests are 7 ft tall.
