With staff help, a glitch in our reservation for THREE beds was switched to HC two-bedded room. Luckily, a rollaway was available for no extra charge. Pool was lovely. We were welcomed to play our board games in breakfast area. Breakfast was very nice and complete.

Terrible smell in room, for multi-day trip. Complained upon checkin, was told the carpets had recently been shampooed. The desk worker handed my husband a can of febreeze, to borrow for a spritz. I promise, this was not that kind of smell. It was persistent. The suite is also not a traditional suite setup; there isn’t a separate room, just a small sitting area next to the beds. The room was otherwise clean and comfy. Pool is very small; ok for little kids. There are no fans in the room’s bathroom and there’s no way to open a window, so you’re stuck with any funky smells.

The hotel does not have a restaurant nor a hot tub, as listed on Hotels.com. The restaurant is a bit of a problem, because the location is somewhat rural and there are very few dining options, especially if you’re arriving in the evening hours. However, the hotel staff were very friendly and took special care to help us be comfortable during our stay.

I booked this hotel using filters to meet my needs such as parking, (which they had); restaurant and hot tub which they DID NOT have but which came up as having when I put in my filters to find a hotel. Hotel.com and Holiday Inn need to update their information. This hotel has NEVER had a restaurant and took out their hot tub in 2019. Buffy, the front desk employee was wonderful.

Genuinely can’t figure out how this place has such great reviews other than the staff. First sign of trouble was upon arrival when we were told the water heater was being replaced and that the water should be back on in an hour. Water wasn’t back on until 4 hours later which was inconvenient with our potty training toddler. We arrived in our room and were met with a stale odor. We chalked it up to an older hotel. Once we finally settled and attempted to go to bed, you heard a loud fan noise on from the electrical room that was directly next to us and it ran intermittently all night. Around 12am it seems our neighbor directly above us arrived and with each step it sounded like they were going to come through the floor. I would not recommend this place other than to say the staff was nice and apologetic about the water heater situation but that was the only redeeming quality.

I was impressed overall. The room was great, the bed extremely comfortable, the bathroom and glass shower were awesome. I especially want to mention Buffy...from the time she checked me in, to my coming downstairs at a late hour to purchase food from marketplace, she was top notch, professional, wonderful personality, and couldn't have been more helpful! She's most definitely a special employee!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property was good. Breakfast was good. Everything would have been great, except. The nightshift front desk lady (young girl) didn’t know the "rules" or how her system worked. There was a problem with my card. She called several times and left messages for me to come down to fix the problem. Meanwhile, im swimming with my kids in the pool directly beside her. She continued to call my room and my cellphone. I get out to see what the issue is. She tells me, sorry, i was wrong. I have to have a different card on file. She was either new, or just didn\'t know her job. Either way, BEYOND unprofessional the way the situation was handled. I won\'t be going back to this specific holiday inn. Very disappointed.

It was nice. Be aware they do charge refundable deposit if your address is with in 100miles of the hotel. We stayed Saturday night, it is Wednesday night and I haven't seen my money refunded back to me yet

Room and bedding very clean. Bathroom floor has some stains and grout is crumbling. Despite conversations with desk Friday and Saturday, our toilet still had not been fixed by checkout Sunday. Guests should not have to open toilet tank lid and activate the water. Desk said handyman too busy as only 1 for two hotels. Gave 20 buck discount on checkout.

We were there for our grandson's graduation from Radford University, and made reservations here. Easy 10-15 minute drive to the university. Our room was bright, very clean, and so comfortable. Loved the Dove soap amenities in the bathroom. Great Keurig machine for coffee, and akways great to have a fridge & microwave.

Very clean hotel. Nice and spacious room. Staff was welcoming. The only negative in my opinion was the breakfast…not a fan of the egg/biscuit/omelette thing…not sure what that was exactly. Some of the other items (sausage, pancakes) just weren’t very good, sorry to say, because everything else was great.

Excellent comfort! And was very clean. Love the bathroom and dove products. Employees were very nice also. Only bad thing was the breakfast! It was awful. EVERYTHING tasted awful and cereal was stale! No selection for children . So we resorted to toast and toaster was broken only toasted on one side of the bread.
