The young lady at the front desk was very cold and unfriendly. A machine would have had a warmer personality. I made a resevation on line with a 3rd party I trust because I did not want the Motel to have my CC number. But she insisted to have it to charge $3 in case I used the safe, Sounded fishy to me. Had it not been a prepay I`d have left. But I won`t be back.

This was a great place for a quick stop along the highway headed on a cross country drive. Bed was sufficient, outdoor access to room with car right outside door was nice for ease of access. Quick and easy check in, with best pricing available on Expedia. I booked the room in the lobby of hotel.

Check in was easy, smooth. Very nice people working the desk. The room… Opened the door and was immediately hit with the smell of cigarette smoke. There was a dirt shoe print on one of the bathroom towels. There was dirt on the bedskirt. Within 5 minutes of being in the room, we had killed 2 spiders and 1 cricket. The bedsheets had stains on them. The walls had unknown smears and substances on them. Should’ve just spent the extra $50 to stay somewhere else.

It’s infested with stank bugs and bed bugs. The owners and workers don’t give a half of care but won’t give back any money. I left a day early then I planned and paid for because of the bugs. I wouldn’t pay for a homeless person to stay at that Red Roof honestly.

This room was switched to a remote thermostat that I rate a zero. It is either off or on, no mode control. If you had the room warmer than currently desired, and dial the number down, it switches into cooling mode. Extremely inefficient and the last thing you want in the winter. I ended up turning it off at bedtime when I wanted it at 68. The proper thermostat, or this one programmed correctly, should be used. Mode should be set to non-auto if available.

Room was very small, was dirty, floor in bathroom behind the door had a collection of lint and dust. Light above sink had something splattered all over the end of it. Bathroom door wouldnt even close tight. Bed was fairly comfortable, and shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

Red Roof is not fancy, but all I want is a place to sleep at night. The first night was horrible with some sort of loud party going on directly above until 5 a.m. Called the front desk 4 times. Nothing really resolved. Asked for a room change and was accommodated. Last 3 nights were fine.

Not really the hotel's fault, but they should probably hire some nighttime security: the screaming homeless people yelling obscenities outside our room throughout the night made for a seriously unpleasant experience. I was very glad not to be there on my own.

I was woken up in the middle of the night by someone coming into my room because the front desk gave them access to my room. When I called them it was said there computer issues said it was open but then changed after. Very unprofessional and wasn’t compensated in any way.

There are 2 buildings. My room was in the back building. Stairs only, as far as I saw. However, the 2nd floor was on a hallway rather than entry from outside. The beds were good. The bathroom was slightly cramped. The service was good. I saved quite a bit of money and still made it into Pittsburgh in 35 minutes.

This was a quick weekend trip to see a pirate's Game. Easy access not too far away (30 minutes) from the stadium. The room was not nearly as nice as the pictures represented it was going to be. This was an average $50 room, not the $80 charged. It was quiet, & clean.

The Red Riif Inn was extremely disappointing to me and I will never stay there again. The grounds were filthy. Dirty, cigarette butts and trash laying around and nothing landscaped or maintain in the exterior. Dirty carpets and smears and dirt on walls and doors. The filthiest outdoor garbage can I have seen in years. The attendant at the Reception Desk was nice. But my remote didn’t work and I had to call twice before someone came up and brought me a new one. Room was big but bathroom was extremely small and cramped. You could hardly close the door without standing in the shower. I got my reservation on hotel dotcom site and paid over $14 dollars more than the $60.99 rate advertised on the sign when I drove up. So I wish I hadn’t reserved on line because it was a poor rate. Towels were super small and thin. Sheets were clean but scratchy. I got up early after my one night stay and couldn’t wait to check out and put this hotel behind me forever.

Room was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived early for a concert at EQT park and they let us check in so we could get to event. Super close to the park. Good food options in walking distance. Would definitely stay again. Not fancy, but a nice, clean and comfortable place to lay your head.
