Stayed at this property because of its excellent location to the Fisher Center at Belmont University for the new Dolly Parton musical premiere. This hotel is a gem: nice rooms, awesome customer service and 24 hr front desk. Thursday evening in the courtyard was a poetry session and Friday evening was a musician along with a complementary local brewery beer tasting opportunity. It’s only about 15 minutes into town for all of the famous Nashville sights and sounds. Great place!

We loved our stay at The Gilmore! Have been to Nashville a few times, usually staying near Music Row. You cannot beat The Gilmore's location on 12 South which is just steps from many excellent dining and shopping choices. No restaurant or bar at the hotel itself but you don't need it. The staff was friendly and attentive. Every time I passed through the lobby, whoever was attending the front desk made eye contact and greeted me. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I wish the water pressure was better but that's more of a city thing. We will be back to The Gilmore!

From the moment we stepped through the doors we felt at home. Andrew and Karina were so welcoming and helpful! The patio area is so cozy and inviting, live music to boot! Our room was gorgeous, clean and comfy! Steps away is amazing shopping and restaurants and more! Cristin greeted us in the morning with a big smile and 5 daughter’s donuts (which are out of this world)! A picture perfect southern welcome!! Will definitely stay here from now on!

I can't post my full review because there isn’t enough character space but overall, it was a great stay. Great bed and pillows, very clean (no bugs, I check lol), welcoming staff, comfortable, great amenities, and a nice location away from the craziness of Broadway. Would definitely stay again. Downsides are the price of parking (58 something for two nights) and I was kinda disappointed by the balcony view. We could also hear the people above us walking throughout our stay.

First it’s not downtown which we knew but certainly didn’t expect parking to be so tight inside the garage and it be $50 a night when you are several miles away from downtown. Next . The only thing great about this place is the flower garden and walk way so after we arrived to the room around 11 pm we went to go sit outside and was told it closed at 10 pm and that we can’t go out there… a outside sitting area closes at 10pm in Nashville???? Next… the bed is hard and sucks Next very noisy first thing in the morning with beeping all morning outside and rollers above us rolling around early… No pool No breakfast We accidentally booked this thinking it was walking distance of 5 mins and it’s mid advertised as 5 min drive time and it’s 15 min drive time at best to downtown This area including this Hotel rolls the sidewalks up at 10 pm… The hotel was nice and clean but won’t stay again for that’s the only benefit

We mostly loved our stay at The Gilmore. Location is fantastic. Front desk staff was wonderful. Great outdoor areas. New property - nicely decorated, new finishes. However, while hardwood floors are lovely to look at, they are not great for multi-level living and therefore we constantly heard the people above us walking and walking and walking. I'd only stay again if I could be on the top floor.

Loved the property. The only reason I did not give it five stars as I found the shower cool and could not get it hot enough. Room was fantastic, staff were very helpful and walkable to so many restaurants, coffee shops and shops. Would recommend.

Unfortunately, the check-in process went less than smoothly. As it happens, I am rehabilitating from bilateral quadriceps tendons tears and I'm forced to use a walker at the minute. I received my text giving me a room number and a check-in code. Unfortunately, when I got to the room in question there was a do not disturb tag hanging on the door in the code didn't work. I called the number provided in the text, somebody answered after 7:00 to 8 rings, and they promised to check into it, and after 30 seconds or so the connection ended. I called again, and after another 7 to 8 rings another individual came online will eventually sent me a text providing me a new room number and entry code. Outside of this issue, I wonderful stay.

The ambiance was always inviting and comfortable it smells so new and fresh throughout the entire property This will be my go-to place for my accommodations in Nashville from now on, it’s the best in town. The Gilmore is a stylish boutique hotel in a fantastic location. My room was clean, thoughtfully designed, and felt more like a modern apartment than a hotel room. The staff member asked if I had my door code, my room number, and what floor I was on—no greeting, no smile. No welcome basket or local perks were offered upon arrival, though I saw them being assembled when I was checking out. Paid for a vending machine soda before learning drinks were actually complimentary. Housekeeping knocked twice during my stay, both times with the Do Not Disturb sign displayed. Light sleep was interrupted by a dripping noise (possibly the A/C) and muffled snoring from another room. The Gilmore has real potential and some staff who clearly care—but the inconsistency in communication and attention to detail made the stay feel hit or miss. With a little more training and consistency across the team, this could easily become a favorite Nashville spot.

What a great find. We stayed in a four bedroom unit with full kitchen -perfect for a larger family or group. Friendly staff & high-end extras! 12 South is a beautiful area. It was great to walk to get coffee, dinner, or ice cream - not to mention the pretty murals and shopping.

I rarely leave reviews for where I stay but this exceeded our expectations! The staff was so friendly and willing to help, the rooms had everything you needed and were decorated so adorably! The location of the hotel was great to in an adorable little town!
