Buchanan’s Bunkhouse was just incredible! The location was perfect for our hiking group, as it was just outside the main gate to Mt Rainier Paradise Trailhead. Christy works hard to provide all that you need in this 3 bedroom log home/cabin. It is fully stocked with everything you need except food & drinks. Two Master Suites with a shared bath & jacuzzi tub upstairs. Downstairs you will find a nice bunk room, bathroom, tv lounge area, huge kitchen & 3 person bar and an incredible large wooden table that can easily seat 8-10. has an incredible outdoor area & covered saltwater hot tub. Love it! Best stay yet!

I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful home! It is everything described and so much more! The host is super helpful and communicative. The home is gorgeous and has plenty of space, from the rooms to the large kitchen and dining room table! We used it as our “home base” since it is right by the entrance to Mt Ranier. The salt water hot tub was perfect after hiking in the snow and rain. This has become my new favorite national park and I would only want to stay at this amazing home!

We enjoyed the quick entrance into national park, horse shoe pits, firepit and of course the hot tub! The large family table was perfect for our group of 12. Neighborhood was quier and beautiful. Would definitely stay there agai .

The cabin was incredible. We loved the spaciousness of it. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. The place was clean, beds were comfortable, water pressure is shower was great. It was so close to the Mt Rainier entrance, it was a breeze getting into the park. It was exactly as advertised and we would definitely stay again!

The descriptions are spot on. The house was actually more spacious than I thought. The amenities were perfect. The kitchen is well stocked and we had all the tools we needed. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was exactly what we needed and no chlorine smell was a plus. Thank you for a very comfortable stay. Definitely one of the best stays I’ve had with a vacation rental.

Loved the fact this place was right at the entrance to Mt. Rainier. When visiting national parks and hiking all day it's nice to not have a long drive back to where you are staying. Also the hot tub was a nice bonus to relaxing in after a long day of hiking.

Wonderful place in a wonderful location. It had everything we needed and the hot tub was fantastic. couldn’t get closer to the park than where they are located. Would stay again when visiting Mount Rainier. Do you want to add photos of your steak?

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect location, literally a couple hundred yards from the entrance to the park. The nearby Nisqually river was fun also. Well-stocked kitchen, fun fire pit and hot tub, comfy beds and plenty of room for our group of 9. Highly recommend!

Christy’s cabin was the hub of our elopement and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin was very clean, had the essentials we needed for the week and we loved the outdoor area with picnic tables, firepit and hottub! Christy had great communication from the start! There was plenty of parking and the proximity to the park entrance doesn’t get much better! The bed and sheets were super comfortable! Thank you for sharing your space Christy! We had an amazing stay!

Hot tub was amazing and the location was phenomenal. Unfortunately, when we arrived the towels were unclean and almost all of the regular towels smelled of stale water or sweat.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very spacious, clean and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen/house. Tap water was refreshing/great for drinking - so nice not to have to but bottled. Enjoyed our beautiful evening walks along the river a black away and great location to Mt Rainier entrance. Enjoyed close by casual restaurants. Just make sure to stock up at grocery store as none close by (small convenient store is)

The cabin is wonderful, clean, and well designed for our family group. With lots of fans for warm weather, we were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed, as are the bathrooms. We never used the hot tub, but it looked very nice. We went up to Paradise Mt. Rainier everyday, and being so close to the Nisqually entrance was a real luxury. We hope to stay there again!

3 families stayed here for 3 nights. It was perfect. Teenage boys enjoyed staying in the same room with bunk beds & there are plenty of couch beds & bedding for extra people. The house is very nice & cozy.

We traveled with my in-laws and our 2 daughters (11yo and 9yo.) You can’t beat the location for this house. You are a 1 minute drive to Mt Rainer’s entrance! The house seemed older but was in good condition. It had everything we needed and the hot tub “cabin” is a great idea especially considering how much it rains in that part of the country. The small grocery stores are helpful but don’t plan on having the options you are used to. We tend to cook for ourselves at VRBOs, but there are some really amazing restaurants in the area. I would encourage you to do those for dinners! Our favorite was Wildberry which is a Nepalese restaurant owned by a Sherpa who holds the record for the fastest ascent of Mt Everest. He and his sons run the place and it was one of the best meals of our Washington trip! The only “heads up” on the house is that there is only 1 shower. The other bathroom has a massive tub so if you are into baths, you will be in heaven. We would stay here again when we come back to the area.

My family stayed here for a spring break getaway, and my 4 small kids (ages 2-7), husband, sister and I all loved it. It was clean, spacious, excellent location, well-stocked, and comfortable. The restaurant-style wooden high chair and the tub of magnetics were nice surprises, and the gas potbelly stove kept the house toasty in the cool mornings (and we appreciated the gate around it for safety). The hot tub was very relaxing and we used it daily, and my kids loved all the space to run around outside. We all loved the short walk to the river to play, or just walking around the nice quiet neighborhood, and it was so convenient to have such a short drive into the park. It was also only a few minutes to Copper Creek where we were able to eat out one night. Would recommend anyone to stay here, and would stay again!

Location couldn't have been better. We only had 1 day to exploring the Paradise area of Mt Rainier and wanted to make every moment count. It was a 3 minute drive to the ranger check station. Several local eateries nearby with terrific food and equipment if needed. The kitchen was well equipped and I appreciated having coffee and filters ready and waiting. Washer and dryer was available which made packing for the trip home easier. House was a bit cool when we arrived, but warmed up quickly. Hot tub soak was great after a full day of hiking through snow, rain, and sunshine. The wifi was acceptable but we did not push it any harder than general web browsing and Netflix at night. There is not cell service; not a negative. Large kitchen table was perfect for packing gear and gathering. Check-in & out were easy and well communicated.

The host Christy was great at communicating and happy to accomdate the fluctuation in people as our group changed. The bunkhouse was perfect for a mix of our group's interests, from walking to the river, evening s'mores, enjoying the land and expeditions to camp muir. All levels and all ages had a wondeful time! All the beds and futons were very comfortable, the only wish is that they had more bathrooms for a group of our size- otherwise perfect!

We had the best time during our stay! The house is beautiful and PERFECTLY located literally a minute from the Nisqually entrance. It’s well equipped with everything you need- kitchen supplies, bedding, even sticks for s’mores by the bonfire. The host is super responsive and we loved the contactless check in /check out process. We love Mt Rainier so much! And this cabin was a perfect home base for exploration. Nice indoor and outdoor space and close walk down to the river. My little niece left behind an iPad in a drawer in the cabin and Christy was very kind and helpful in getting it back to us. Thanks so much!

Awesome experience overall. The owners where very communicative and had all the information we needed before we even got to the home. The location is awesome and is less then a mile from the park. I would come here again if we came back to Rainer. The house rules where also very easy to follow.

Location couldn't have been better. We only had 1 day to exploring the Paradise area of Mt Rainier and wanted to make every moment count. It was a 3 minute drive to the ranger check station. Several local eateries nearby with terrific food and equipment if needed. The kitchen was well equipped and I appreciated having coffee and filters ready and waiting. Washer and dryer was available which made packing for the trip home easier. House was a bit cool when we arrived, but warmed up quickly. Hot tub soak was great after a full day of hiking through snow, rain, and sunshine. The wifi was acceptable but we did not push it any harder than general web browsing and Netflix at night. There is not cell service; not a negative. Large kitchen table was perfect for packing gear and gathering. Check-in & out were easy and well communicated.

The host Christy was great at communicating and happy to accomdate the fluctuation in people as our group changed. The bunkhouse was perfect for a mix of our group's interests, from walking to the river, evening s'mores, enjoying the land and expeditions to camp muir. All levels and all ages had a wondeful time! All the beds and futons were very comfortable, the only wish is that they had more bathrooms for a group of our size- otherwise perfect!

I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful home! It is everything described and so much more! The host is super helpful and communicative. The home is gorgeous and has plenty of space, from the rooms to the large kitchen and dining room table! We used it as our “home base” since it is right by the entrance to Mt Ranier. The salt water hot tub was perfect after hiking in the snow and rain. This has become my new favorite national park and I would only want to stay at this amazing home!

We really enjoyed our stay. Very spacious, clean and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen/house. Tap water was refreshing/great for drinking - so nice not to have to but bottled. Enjoyed our beautiful evening walks along the river a black away and great location to Mt Rainier entrance. Enjoyed close by casual restaurants. Just make sure to stock up at grocery store as none close by (small convenient store is)

The cabin was incredible. We loved the spaciousness of it. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. The place was clean, beds were comfortable, water pressure is shower was great. It was so close to the Mt Rainier entrance, it was a breeze getting into the park. It was exactly as advertised and we would definitely stay again!

Loved the fact this place was right at the entrance to Mt. Rainier. When visiting national parks and hiking all day it's nice to not have a long drive back to where you are staying. Also the hot tub was a nice bonus to relaxing in after a long day of hiking.

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect location, literally a couple hundred yards from the entrance to the park. The nearby Nisqually river was fun also. Well-stocked kitchen, fun fire pit and hot tub, comfy beds and plenty of room for our group of 9. Highly recommend!

What a nice place! It was right outside the Nisqually Entrance to Mt. Rainier so it was easy to get to the hiking trails early. The house had a nice layout with enough room for everyone. The hot tub was appreciated after a long day hiking. We would stay here again if we are in the area!

This was such a neat spot! So close to the park, great house, unbelievable yard with partially enclosed hot tub facing a fire pit. We absolutely loved our stay. This is the best deal on the planet! The house itself was perfect for our group of 6... Everyone loved it and having the park right up the street was so convenient. Can't say enough good things about this.

A cozy stay in the woods and the location to Rainier was about as close as you can get! We enjoyed the lodge feeling, hot tub and loved all the big windows to watch the deer. Our family made happy memories here!
