We loved this vacation. Enjoyed having kayaks available and spending time outside. Quiet, great place to walk and bike.

What a great place on the water. House is perfect for a water side getaway with access to Weeki and the Gulf. Bring you boat or use the provided kayaks....Great Neighbors here as well.

My wife, mother-in-law and Charlie 🐶 had a wonderful stay. Was easy to find, house was furnished as listed and very clean. Nice open living room with ample seating. The back of the house is where it’s at! Nice big deck to sit, relax and let your cares go. We used the kayaks that was furnished and was able to put in right at the back of the house. We will definitely be back! Do not hesitate to reserve this appropriately named house: Our piece of paradise !!

We enjoyed staying here very much! Neighbors were very nice! Enjoyed watching the manatees and the fish jumping. Very relaxing area. Great area for kayaking! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Fantastic, my sister and I enjoyed our stay. We were blessed to see the awesome manatee, enjoyed taking pictures of them. My sister went down the canal on the kyack said it was alot of fun. I highly recomend this place for relaxation.Very happy we were able to stay here.

We had a gorgeous stay at this property for 4 days! The house was beautiful & comfortable, highly recommend. Plenty of kayaks for your entertainment & a nice paddle over to Roger's Park. The host was gracious & available, checked in with us. We would definitely return...

The home was very clean and well maintained. The kayaks were in really good shape and the seats worked well. The area is amazing and home has a great spot right on the corner of the canal. The one thing that tripped us up a bit was that you either need a Roku account or fire stick to watch TV. We did not have either with us so we couldn't watch TV the entire trip. Wish we had known to prepare for that. Otherwise, the home is wonderful. Thank you to Jason for quick responses.

We had a great stay! It was spacious and comfortable. The dock was perfect for our boat and the kids had a blast. Very short ride to the Gulf. Would definitely recommend to others!

It’s absolutely spotless! The back of the house faces a canal. There are kayaks to use. The fishing is fantastic so you bring a pole and live bait. We saw manatees too. Sitting out in the back looking at the water was so therapeutic. The neighborhood is so quiet. We have already booked for next March. We had a great time!

The house was great. So cute and great location. I would say overall really good. The only issue was the cleaning aspect. We had to wash about 50% of the dishes we wanted to use because they were visibly dirty. And the kitchen could use some more attention in the cleaning process. Besides that, it was all good!

Let me start by saying the house location is great and the interior is very nice; however, there are a few things that guests should be aware of. I wrote the host a private email to make them aware of these concerns; however, they were not considerate enough to even respond back. When we arrived the floor was not swept or mopped. My wife swept up three piles of dirt. We couldn’t mop because there was not a mop available. We used a rag to wipe up dirty spots on the floor. There was a large dead cockroach on the floor in the master bedroom closet. The inside of the fridge was dirty and we found two small cockroaches inside the fridge. We also noticed a few small roaches in the kitchen area. The blue furniture is stained and dirty and not something we really would sit on. The dark cloth furniture was dirty as well but not as bad. The outside of the home could use a good cleaning as well. Overall our stay was good and we love the location. Again, I told the host this stuff so they could make improvements for future guests. I didn’t want to leave a poor review; however, it’s been over two weeks without any acknowledgement of our concerns.

Two couples staying on the Weeki Wachee river for a long weekend. Truly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is in excellent condition.

This was my first VRBO stay. The property and amenities were exactly as described. The house appeared to have fresh floors, paint, cabinets, everything!.If we want to see Weeki Wachi again, this will be the place to stay.

Home was nice and open with comfortable beds. Enjoyed being on the water and seeing manatees each day. Great place ifyou have a boat or skis. Only suggestion is the water pressure is so great in showers, that a heavy or weighted shower curtain would be wise. The guest bathroom especially has the most issue. The water pressure blows shower curtain open and water gets all over floor. Could be potential accident.

The place was cute and very spacious for a family weekend. The deck is really nice, and the water was great! Peaceful neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Very nice!

We had a great time here, the house was great and the view beautiful. We did get to see dolphins twice which was exciting. We were in town for my nephews graduation and my niece and nephews enjoyed playing on the foosball table. It was a hot and humid week so we spent most of the time in the house so it was nice to have a great view.

This is a lovely little house with frontage directly onto the Mud River water system. Lovely spacious open plan living / Dining Kitchen area. Ideal for couples, / foursome but note the second bedroom is quite small with Queen bed, bathroom a few steps away).

Great location for kayaking! This house is on a canal off the Mud River, which later connects to the Weeki Wachee for an enjoyable day's paddle. BUT...We booked 5 people ( it is listed for 6 people) and there were only linens for 4 people. When we messaged the Host about this, he replied "Thanks for reaching out, and I’m really sorry that the extra linens weren’t available as expected. Unfortunately, I’m unable to drop off additional ones during your stay. In the past, we’ve had extra linens go missing or be taken by previous guests, and it looks like that may have happened again. I completely understand this isn’t ideal, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding. If there’s anything else I can help with during your stay, please don’t hesitate to let me know." Yes Jason, you are right. It really isn't ideal to only have linens for four people when you have booked a place for five. How do you decide who gets the bed pillows and washcloths. Which people get sheets and which ones don't? After several messages back and forth over the days of our stay, he did offer to reimburse us for what we had purchased to get by. Unfortunately, my son had not kept the receipt for the sleeping bag that he bought, so the host refused to offer any compensation. Sometimes things happen. But inventory should be done between guests and it shouldn't be our job to fix it. You could have had linens delivered. Easy and done! And the next guests would have linens.

We loved this peaceful location on the canal! We especially enjoyed kayaking and were thrilled to see manatees nearly everday! Our host was very kind and was very quick to reply to our questions. We were very happy with the accommodations and look forward to returning in the future!

We went for a quick trip to Weeki Wachee park and springs. Kayaking and fishing at the property were a nice way to spend a day. Additionally, we went to Pine Island Beach, just a 10 min drive up the road. Great for kids and swimming. Host was very responsive and made our stay enjoyable.

Quiet and cozy stay! The house has a wonderful back yard to enjoy and the location was perfect for getting out to the Gulf. The kitchen was stocked with the perfect amount of pans and utensils for staying in and cooking! That’s a plus for our family :) Overall we had a great time and look forward to returning.

Loved this place! Great location for us, as we have relatives in Spring Hill. Loved the seclusion and beautiful view of the canal waterways. Very clean. Perfect for 2-4 people.

Ok so the spot is in a quieter location I call it a canal culdesac. Quiet and calm, house was wonderfully appointed, had plenty of pans and even Tupperware for our outings! Full size fridge, stacked washer dryer. Lots of towels. Beds were comfortable, showers were very high pressure and huge shower heads which did drain the tank very quickly (we are pretty fast showereers, and you might get 2 in a row in but no more than that till the tank refills. Location is as great. We kayaked from the main stop up the way so we didn’t have to go far to see manatees it was epic and we even saw 2 from the back yard!! We absolutely loved our stay and would stay again.

Family had an awesome stay!! Close to everything we came to do! The Gulf and springs were a short boat trip away! The house was great and backyard was as well!
