Definitely a hotel that you should visit when you are in Charlotte. The room is modern, huge, comfy and cute. Pool is heated and relatively huge. Restaurant on site serves tasty, flavorful, refreshing food and drinks. You should intentionally have dinner theregafe dinner

Front desk was inconsistent regarding things they told us. Things such as copy of the statement, check in time. Facility was freezing cold. The building and rooms don't need to be air conditioned in the mid 60s.

All kinds of problems with reservations. Reservations got lost, confusion about what had been paid in advance and what hadn't. This was a problem throughout the entire stay. The front desk said all of this was Expedia's fault. I've never had a problem before with anyone regarding making a reservation through Expedia. Air conditioning throughout the facility was way to high. Our room was set at 64 degrees. It was like this throughout the facility. Way to cold and a big waste of electricity.

This hotel was great. Will stay here again. Upscale. Courteous front desk staff. Solid menu. Able to park your car free in the lot or garage and ride share or drive wherever you want. Convenient and safe feeling environment. Only thing I could add if I’m really trying f would be the bathroom being a bit dated. But that is easily overcome by the hotel itself

This is a great place to stat. Modern rooms and clean facilities However when we checked in the key card system was down and peoplem ongregated in the libby as each guest had to be escorted to their room to enter. It was way too loud.

This was the worst experience ive had in a hotel in a long time. Thankfully i was only in town for the night for work. I prepaid for a suite, i was given a regular room. That was fixed. The hotel was dated, the carpet was dingy and the hallway had a odor, like the carpet needed cleaning. Once in my room, there werent any wash clothes. I had to wait 20 minutes for those to be brought upstairs. The refrigerator wasnt cold, the wifi was super slow and there was dust everywhere. Im not a complainer but for $300 a night, i expected better. Definitely wont be staying at this one anymore.

, I chose this site to have an excellent romantic weekend getaway with my girlfriend. Even though the rooms were nice the strong smell of cigarettes killed the vibe and caused my girlfriend’s asthma to flare up. This was a major killer of the weekend as she spent all of Saturday night wheezing from the strong smoke smell.

This hotel was very disappointing. I am used to Renaissance Hotels being high end and this was not the case. Our hallway floor was very dirty with visible trash and debris. I even brought it to the attention of the front desk, yet no one came up to vacuum. The rooms are look like from the 80's, the ice machine was removed from our floor, and overall felt like this was the worst Renaissance hotel I have ever stayed in. I would look elsewhere.

Beautiful rooms and wonderful area. Service was great and everyone was very pleasant. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, so could not sleep, and the A/C had a mind of it's own. Temperature went from hot to freezing no matter what we did with the thermostat.

The hotel was very pretty and in good condition. The lobby smelled nice. The bar in the evening was perfect for a night cap and watching some of the college basketball playoffs. Sat down for breakfast on Saturday morning and did not get acknowledged so got up and left. I think they were short staffed. Parking was easy. The staff we encountered were all very friendly. Symphonie checked us in. She was great! Our room was very clean and fresh feeling. We stayed in room 314 which was an adjoining room to next door. We did not use that option as we didn't know the people next to us. I guess that part of the room lets in noise because we could hear their conversations plain as day from that part of the room. Very strange. Towels were a little scratchy. Overall, it was a great stay! Perfect for meeting with family from all over for a couple nights. Thank you!

Well, this hotel was booked last minute because it was near my wife’s place of employment. Our property was hit with flash flooding earlier that day and was under 4’ of water. I was surprised based off the reviews regarding how friendly and polite the staff was that the three people I spoke with at check in, not one offered even a fake apology or concern about the flooding despite my seeing a security camera feed during check in that showed significant water level increases. Aside from this, the hotel was clean, walkable, beds were comfy, close to everything from dining and shopping to entertainment, and mostly very quiet. Only other issues were the bathroom door is a sliding barn door that leaves a .75” gap down the full sides and has no lock. If you value privacy in the bathroom this is an issue. Despite the coffee shop being open in the morning for almost an hour none of the pastries were ready yet. Again, people have bad days, I know I was having one and perhaps I caught the staff on an off day but it would’ve been nice to have a human response of some kindness. If proximity is your biggest concern then this place is more than fine.

The front desk were really pleasant. The walls are paper thin. I heard every single word in the next room. The people next to me were also indulging in adult activities and I every single piece of it. Disgusting. The room was mediocre. Not dirty but needed some cleaning. I wouldn’t recommend.

If you are a light sleeper, void room 219, there is a balcony overlooking the atrium and you can hear EVERYTHING. Also didn't help that I had people across the hall with a puppy that they allowed to bark ALL morning long, beginning at 7am. I don't like that fact that there is no natural light in the room either since it overlooks the atrium. Oh, and I won't get into the weird couch lips in the vestibule off the elevator. Otherwise, it was clean, and the location was excellent.

Poor air conditioning throughout the property. My first room had none but they were real quick to change my room. They wouldn’t allow me to wait in the lobby during my early check in. They told me to go to the brewery across the street. I struggled with three bags and a dog while the manager walked empty handed next to me walking me to my new air conditioned room.

Overall the hotel is ok. Staff is not too friendly, starting at the person at reception for the check in process. The second night we had fire alarm ringing at 2:30am, which I understand it is not something the hotel can control. After staying outside for 20 min we were asked to get back to the rooms but no communication was made by the staff at that time. During the check out process the person at reception didn't ask if everything was good or gave us an explanation / apologies about the fire alarm from previous night.

We LOVED our stay in Charlotte at this property. Will definitely stay here if we ever come back to town. Front desk super responsive and kind. Overall, one of the best properties that we have stayed at-and we stay many places and travel a LOT! Thank you for a pleasant experience.

No major complaints! This is a very nice property that has been well maintained and it was a great value for the price. I like that there is no carpet in the room! The check in process was easy and the staff were quite friendly. There’s lots of free parking in front and in the attached garage. There are also some restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. The area seems safe in general. I would stay here again.

I came into town for a conference in the Southpark area, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Spacious rooms. Quiet floor. The first floor had ample space to sit and enjoy some tea or read a book. All staff members I encountered were pleasant, and It was conveniently located with tons of restaurants shopping nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a nice stay. I like that you had adequate parking available and the convenience from the parking garage to the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. The only draw back was the “Starbucks “ coffee by the bar - minimal selection and the coffee was very weak, not good and definitely not worth Starbucks prices.

Our stay was comfortable, This location is close to shopping and restaurants. We did eat at the bar and the food and cocktails were pretty good. We are in town due to a family members health issues and needed to extend our stay. The price for an additional 2 nights was much higher than what we had paid for the first two nights so we left. There are no mini fridge or microwaves and no complimentary morning coffee, but they do offer Starbucks brand beverages for purchase at the bar. There was also fruit infused water in the lobby. Overall the stay was fine, but over priced in comparison to other hotels with more amenities in the area.

I didn't like the fact that breakfast wasn't included in the stay. Most hotels that I do stay in, a breakfast buffet or something is included. I had just stayed at the Embassy Suites the day before and it was included and I give it 5 STARS service.
