NH Collection México City Centro Histórico

It was nice that we had no issues checking in and were offered late check out considering we arrived at midnight but nothing else. The room was incredibly small, I booked one king bed and received two very small twin beds. Mattress were uncomfortable and the hotel’s parking arrangements are half street down and not included on the reservation as they are private parking lots that you pay per night and then have to walk back to the lobby. Overall, not the best experience.

The hotel is very close to Zocalo - the main square in Mexico City historical district. There is a subway station at the square - very convenient if you choose to use the efficient (although crowded) subway system. The hotel is clean and modern. The security is good - one can get off the elevator only at own floor. There are restaurants, Starbucks and shops within steps.

Lo que más me gustó es su ubicación! Se puede caminar alrededor y hay seguridad por todos lados . Los tours que compramos nos ofrecieron recogidas allí... Lo único que no me gustó es el olor del perfume ambiental, muy fuerte tanto para mí como para mí madre, , ambas nos sentimos con necesidad de usar mascarillas en las áreas comunes, aún así volveré la semana próxima...

If you have a car, getting to the property is close to impossible. I drove around the property for about two hours to be able to get to the property. Parking is off the hotel. The guy at the parking lot offer me to fix my car bumper. Not sure how safe is the parking.

I stayed for a week and loved the place. The location is great, staff amazing. Buffet in the morning is amazing and staff super kind. Only negative points of the hotel, the amount of perfume -smell in the lobby is absolutely horrendous and the gym didnt have towels. The area is obviously walking distance from everything, but also lots of homeless around. So if you are not familiar with this, please dont go there as there are a lot. They are inofensive but i know some people are "afraid". I would stay there again with pleasure ! Plus they have safe taxi drivers there always ready, we took Roberto a few times and GREAT service ! highly recommend this hotel

Great location. The Zócalo, Templo Mayor, Catedral Metropólitan, Palacio National, Gran Hotel, money exchangers are just around the corner. Lots of places to eat around the hotel. Easy to catch Uber. We felt safe in Centro Historico. Many police in the streets. The hotel is secure. There is a security officer posted at the entrance and there is a roaming security officer. There is a restaurant in the hotel from 7am-11pm, and room service 24 hours. The lobby has a bar and WiFi. The room interiors are nicely done and clean. The beds are comfortable. There is a Nespresso coffee machine and electric hot water kettle for tea. There is WiFi, a desk, desk chair, black out curtains. Many thanks to the hotel staff: reception, security, housekeeping (Connie), restaurant wait staff and room service (David, Mauricio, Jorge, Alberto and Tamar) for making our stay comfortable. Given the chance, I will come back to this hotel.

This hotel was a nightmare. 1)NO FIRST AID KIT: My mom needed ice for her ankle. I walked to the front desk and asked for ice, specifying it was for my mom's ankle, they said they’d bring it to the room, and didn’t. I then called the reception from my room, someone else picked up and I said the same thing to them. 5-10 minutes later, they show up with ice in a bottle bucket...That was not going to work, I needed at least a bag. Waited another 10 minutes, then called the front desk again, same guy answered. I asked for an update on the ice. He replied that "that’s the only ice we have". First of all, how is it acceptable that they don’t have a first aid ice kit? Second, why do I have to reach out 3 times to just be able to ask for the most logical solution which is to at least provide a BAG for the ice; 2) There is mildew in all the corners of the shower; 3) The minibar IS LOCKED so we can’t even use the fridge less we ask them to come open it; 4) We asked for a toothbrush (it’s in the services listed for the hotel as an extra amenity) and they said it w unavailable, did not offer an alternative (could have said: "not available today, will provide tomorrow") 5)The pillows are terrible quality, and super thick. We asked for thinner pillows and they said that they did not have them, that was it. I woke up with allergies and even then they couldn’t help us find a solution. 6)The "Superior" room is too small 7)There’s homeless people sleeping right outside the front door

Shower in bath room was poor condition water pressure was very low and temperature sensor didn't work Expected it to be a lot better Reported it to reception every day but no update was received Requested extra pillows three times never received them House keeping forgot to leave towels and face cloths and hand towel every day It was one or the other or no towels at all

Really enjoyed staying here - it was clean and convenient to everything. The hotel is also eco friendly which is a plus, and it felt safe with security and cards to access the elevator. The staff was so professional and the WiFi worked perfectly!!

The hotel is located in a brilliant spot. Easy access to shopping, the big square, the Mirador, museums, food etc etc. Easy to take a Tube/taxi to other areas. Staff friendly, reception, restaurant and cleaning services but the hotel is a bit "tired". The water pressure in the shower was extremly low, the floor in the room not wet wiped very well and the quality of the breakfast left things to wish (one beeing that scrabled eggs etc not hot). Slept alright and wi fi was working good.

Muy amable todo el personal. El hotel Súper limpio, el cuarto de buen tamaño, la cama muy cómoda. Pueden descansar durante la noche, muy silencio. Pueden ir al Zocalo caminando. Les doy un 10 Se los recomiendo al 100%

Safe and convenient location for touring historic center. Room was very nicely renovated with great lighting and built-ins. Would stay there again!

The room was very dark, we had a small window looking at a small inner courtyard.

The water flow in shower and bathroom sink was too small, so you would feel cold when shower. Changed a room, still the same. Good for supplying everything needed, including bottle water.

メイン通りの近くにもあり、とても良いホテルでした場所自体は、治安が元々良くないので、危ない人もいましたが、わりと繁華街の近くなので、明るくて、安全です。 ただ部屋の水圧がめちゃくちゃ弱くて、びっくりしました！

Loved having breakfast in the bright and inviting dining room or out on the patio. Location meant that it was close enough to shop, visit a few museums and eat on foot and easy get to and from via Uber when necessary. Hotel lobby was pleasant to be in and room was well appointed and the bed was super comfy!

Very well located to visit the historic area. Staff was nice and willing to help. Rooms are small, dark and only 1 night stand in one side of the bed. AC does not cool to temperature desired.

The staff at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. Stayed in an extra large room and the space was plenty with a comfy king bed. My only issue was that the a/c wasn’t doing too great of a job at cooling the room to a level we were comfortable with. All in all however this is is a good value for the price point.

Las habitaciones son extremadamente pequeñas. Hotel poco recomendable. Me he quedado en otros NH pero este no es una opción para volverse a hospedar.

The excellent service started before checking in! I wanted to book a car to pick me up at Mexico City airport. Not speaking any Spanish I was nervous about communicating with the reception desk staff. I need not have been - they put me through to an English speaker and arranged collection. Each of the five days we spent at NH Centro Historico, we were at the desk asking for advice and guidance. The staff were patient and accommodating - always. We also had breakfast and dinner at the inhouse restaurant where the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Room was comfortable for two people staying five days - we weren't longing for check out day. These guys really enhanced the NH Hotels brand.

The front desk staff Diego and Lizabeth were most helpful. Great location. Everything in the room was perfect but wish the coffee machine was bigger.

This is my 4th time staying at this property. Location is good. Staff is wonderful, and the room is clean, cozy, and comfortable.

Nice staff, allowed early check in. Clean room. Poor water pressure, they made it better. Hotel does not have heat. Asked and was offered another blanket. It never was brought to the room

The standard quality of service in lMexico is excellent pretty much everywhere, you can say that service is great to fantastic. This was not the case at NH Histórico. Or at least was the receptionist at the counter to be more specific. Got there early and the room was available for an extra fee for early check in. I find this to be a terrible policy and personally this practice would definitely affect my choice for future. Of course I complained at this policy and I received a rude and sarcastic answer.

The staff was very friendly and greeted me by name every day.

Front desk Staff needs to be more accomodating and hospitable. Breakfast is very good including their service. Our big thank you to Rebecca who always assist us in our needs. Housekeeping is very nice and they clean our room. The only drawback in the room is the low flow of water in bathroom sink. Overall the room and location of the hotel is excellent.

The location is absolutely fantastic. In the heart of the historic center within a short walking distance to Zocalo and Avenida Francisco I. Madero.The area is very safe with 24/7 police presence. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I arrived in the very early morning and there were able to make an early check in for me. I would like to thank the following staff members: Rebeca, Lizbeth, Diego and Dagoberto for their kind hospitality and assistance.

Overall found this hotel disappointing and frustrating. We stayed twice during our time in Mexico, checking in at 9pm and 6pm. Both times we were told our room wasn't ready. To not have the room ready at 9pm (6 hours after earliest check in time) was ridiculous and they gave us a room with 2 single beds rather than the king bed which we booked. The second time we arrived at 6pm and had to wait 30 minutes for the room to be ready. Again, this is unacceptable. The problem seems to be they haven't hired enough cleaning staff. Breakfast and location is very good but rooms are small with poor air con and showers. A shame this hotel didn't live up to expectations as we were expecting better.

This hotel is probably in the best location I’ve ever stayed at. Literally outside the door you would experience all of Mexico City and the main square.

The location is perfect for the Zocalo with convenient metro stations nearby. The staff is very kind, special mention for Kelie and Lizabeth who went above and beyond at the front desk. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location, location, location

Lovely room - modern, clean and a very large comfortable bed. Air con was great. Very central location for the centro historico, 2 minutes walk to the zocalo and very walkable to many historic buildings. Breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

This hotel stays chic and modern. I have stayed here many times before and it has always been a very good choice. The location is great in the heart of Centro Histórico. Easy walk to historic places, taquerias, restaurants, the Cathedral, etc

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel staff were incredible but the area is just not it. Gets weird especially at night. Multiple homeless people outside. The rooms were also dimly lit and although I paid for a premium room, I literally had no window views. Not the city, not the next building. Nothing. For reference I’m speaking for room 305 Avoid altogether if you can and don’t get lured in by the photos. Do your research. There are much better hotels in better neighborhoods for the same price in CDMX

The hotel was very nice, clean, and convenient, close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was extremely nice and attentive, the only thing I didn’t care for was the breakfast, it was very basic, options were limited, and the price was expensive compared to restaurants in the same area.

La habitación es cómoda, bonita y de tamaño apropiado. En general todo el personal fue amable. Mi experiencia poco grata tuvo lugar en el restaurante. Acudí a cenar, en el lugar únicamente había un comensal y llegué yo, ordené un platillo que califico como sencillo (suizas con pollo), y a los diez minutos llegaron tres personas extrajeras, tomaron su orden y a los 20 minutos les sirvieron a los tres su comida, mientras yo seguía esperando. Tuve que levantarme de la mesa para preguntar por el estatus de mi platillo, y después de esto, pasaron 5 minutos más y me lo llevaron. En total tardaron casi 40 minutos en servirme un plato de enchiladas.

The proximity to the Zocalo and the other historic sites is perfect about a 2 minute walk. I love that the breakfast buffet varies daily. The food is good with a good variety.

Dinner menu was not good and the food was subpar especially for the price. I recommend trying the restaurants down the street.

Food at the hotel restaurant wasn't that good. The food was cold and they didn't have too many options during the buffet.

This is my 2nd stay here and I love it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is about a 3 minute walk from the Zocalo. It is one of the few places where the breakfast buffet changes daily. They also are very sweet for your birthday :).

Clean, walkable, quiet and safe. The breakfast buffet was also delicious and well worth it
