Stayed 5 nights

Great location opposite the ADO bus station and a 10 minute walk to centro. Our first room was very noisy close to the main road, the room felt damp and the bathroom had a lot of mould in it. The toilet didn't flush properly so they had kindly left a bucket - they were obviously aware of a problem but didn't seem to want to fix it. The main problem was that we had no way of filling the bucket except trom the shower which took forever! The next morning we pointed out the problems at reception and asked for another room as we were there for 5 nights. They willingly gave us a much better room at the back of the hotel on the top floor. It was quiet and clean but still had a lot of mould n the bathroom. I'd recommend it for 1 or 2 nights but it's not really a holiday hotel. staff were friendly and helpfutrytbreaktast.

One of the two rooms we rented had no door to the bathroom (only a termite-eaten door frame). Also, the bathroom sink handles were not shutting-off the flow of water so we had to use the shutoff valves under the sink instead. We had a very late arrival, otherwise we would have left and looked for another hotel. The staff was not friendly or forthcoming (made us feel unimportant to their business). The second room was ok (just average). The use of fragance inside the rooms and very poor ventilation was somewhat unpleasant.

Stayed 4 nights

This centrally located hotel was my home for four days in Merida. The room was no frills but it was good, the bathroom/shower was large. The staff were kind and friendly and you could tell they were happy to be there. Short walk to Parque San Juan, a little more to Plaza Grande.. Merida centro at its cultural best. Thanks for a great visit.
