The property served our purpose, and was decently clean, for the most part. Breakfast was only served until 8:00 on weekends, which I thought seemed a bit early. When I asked for additional wash clothes on our 2nd night I was told I had to return the used ones first. Maybe this is new standard practice, but I'd never encounter this before. The carpet felt a bit icky on bare feet, so I made sure to wear shoes or socks at all times. The bed was a little firm, but that's just not my personal liking. There is no elevator, which made getting to our room on the 2nd floor a bit more work, but we managed. I'm not sure if I remember reading there is no elevator, so that may need to be included in the description, if it's not already.

The place has began to run down a little. Floors were sticky, the pool does not work and the gym has been closed since 2020. The room is tight with two queen beds. The chair had grease hand prints all over it. The center wall night stand was barley on the wall, you touched it and it felt like it was gone fall. There was trash and cigarettes everywhere. Three dozen eggs was randomly sitting on the street light on the back side of the property near the parking. The outside needs to be cleaned.

Called to verify the hotel has a pool before booking. When we arrived 10 minutes later, the pool had been closed for maintenance for the past 3 days. Hallways smelled highly of smoke and stairwells smelled very bad too. Breakfast does not get refilled an hour before it ends and was very limited. TV was incredibly slow with many blank channels and no guide to figure out what channels you could use. No elevator. Luggage carts were hidden in a stairwell halfway down a hallway, nowhere near the front desk.

I called and reserved the rooms for my daughters birthday. I picked this hotel for the indoor pool. I asked upon reserving it what time the pool closed and was told 11. When we checked in I was told the pool was closed til the following week. If I would have been told the correct info I wouldn’t have booked the rooms since it was done for the pool.

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good, but not great. I had scrambled eggs, sausage, and a waffle. Pool was closed down while we were visiting. So just check ahead of time to make sure it is open when you visit. The channels are very limited because you will be watching analog TV through an antenna. Some channels are high definition, others are not.

Hotel was clean and location is good. However, the pool was closed. The staff did offer to cancel my room but it’s a little late once you make a long drive. My biggest problem was the back doors. Key cards not working well and people where wedging the door with a rock to so they can get in and out. This is a safety issue and should be addressed for most. Doors not functioning is a safety issue and both main back doors failed to latch and read cards effectively.

All I can say is that we slept good, but with finding 4 little cockroaches made the stay uncomfortable. It's hard to sleep when a roach is found under the sheets. Very disappointing Baymont!

The hotel was run down, had weird odors. The room was not thoroughly cleaned and beds were made with dirty sheets with spots and old blood stains. I could not change rooms because of capacity and had to carry some other sheets from another room that smelled strong from mildew. This place is over rated.

Despite being a “non-smoking” facility that was the only smell perceivable. The floors were dirty and covered in mud, there were hairs in the bed, on the pillow and in the shower. Mystery stains on the carpet. Plus, a layer of dirt on every surface.

Our room was filthy. Trash was under the mattress and the floor felt like it was coated in oil. The toilet paper in the bathroom had a dried blood mark on it, it also looked like it had been wet with something yellow. The refrigerator was extremely dirty and had something spilled at the bottom. Really gross and I absolutely do not recommend.

The room was clean. The employees are nice and friendly. There was plenty of guest coffee in the lobby. The room size is small. The bathroom was small. It is probably what to expect with a lesser priced hotel. We didn't get to check out the pool. We were there to visit family so we were out most of the time. The pool closes early. We were able to get a first floor room, no elevator. The breakfast was okay, the usual for simple free breakfast. There was waffle maker sausage, eggs, biscuits, bagels, fruit, milk cereal and more.

We have stayed at other Baymonts before and had good experiences, not so at this one. Looks like they were trying to update but has a way to go. Breakfast was an issue, it said 6am to 9am but then it was they don't replenish after 8am which wS in very small print. We came at 8:30 and there was nothing, they had removed almost everything including the waffle batter and the rude man working there said there was a few little eggs, it was all done at 8am. If you have breakfast from 6 to 9 then that should happen, different from not replenishing then removing it all. We are done with Baymont. It was more of a contractor motel there.

Hotel and room were good. The front desk men in the mornings were awful. Overheard them yelling at a client becuase they went into the breakfast room early. There is a way to be professional. That was not it. They were nasty and mean.

If you are traveling make sure you check your voicemails. I was flying in and drove to Jackson from Memphis after booking a week with this hotel, only to be greeted with we canceled your reservation at 2am. Found another hotel to stay in and no recourse from the hotel clerk that was a complete jerk about it. Fire Alarm in room 116 is bad and I dont think they ever plan on fixing it, its not very pleasant to be woken up at 3:45am just randomly. Pool will not reopen apparently as they repeatedly told guest it was opening April 1st, and according to the reviews it has been closed for 3 years. False advertising at its finest. Only reason I would stay there again is the pricing was decent for what hotels are in Jackson.

We experienced people walking in our room 3 different times while we were sleeping and the staff didn’t do anything about it. Also there was bugs in the bathroom I told the staff about they didn’t seam to care and lied about knowing about them just to later say ohh we had a bug guys yesterday come spray. I didn’t feel safe in this hotel let alone with kids. I don’t recommend it.

I arrived after 2pm after riding for 8 hours and the attendant wouldn't let me check in. I was very disappointed she was rude young white girl. I told her it was less then a hour away from check in time and if she could let me check in because I was very tired and had an event to attend. The service was not accommodating at all.

Mike at the front desk was very helpful and nice ! Will definitely stay again ! Met the day shift staff upon leaving and they were great also ! So many mixed reviews but I was expecting the worse and it wasn’t bad at all !

I’m would rate this hotel as okay. It was in a decent area, but by the interstate, so of course you’re going to hear some noise. The beds were comfy, and the water stayed warm for the shower. The pool is under construction, but we got in so late it didn’t matter to us. The breakfast was the biggest let down. They had some options to hold you over until you found something else - no hot food unless you count toasting a bagel.

The front desk clerks were friendly. We were accommodated with a room downstairs as needed. It's nice enough but an older hotel. Rooms are accessible on the inside. It's located right off the freeway of I 40. Plenty to do in the area. Indoor pool looked nice but they closed before we arrived. The beds are set very high.

You get what you pay for and this hotel is 2 star at best. Would not swim in the pool personally. Beds were comfortable and rooms where sort of clean-ish. Other wise it would of been a 1 star. What REALLY ticked me off was the breakfast options. Cereal and muffins that's it!! They had a sign up claiming the waffle maker was broken but it was clear by the front desk staff standing around gabbing they simply didn't want to fill the machine and clean up any mess. They also had a metal container to hold things like biscuits, sausage eggs etc....there was none. Nada. Zilch they even had it unplugged. When I say cereal and muffins it's not a exaggeration. 🙄 Oh and the ENTIRE hotel reeks of weed.

The only real complaint was about breakfast. At check-in it was stated by the clerk at least twice that breakfast is until 9am, however the reality is that they stop serving at 8 and leftovers are available until 9 if there are any.

I've stayed s always nice and polite and informative. I was very disappointed to find only coffee and cold muffins and cold cereal available on the 4th when the kitchen worker was there and just visiting with staff. Room was clean and comfortable, and good for the price. Our only complaint was the breakfast. The only option was cereal or waffles, and the waffle machine was not cleaned, and we could only use 3 of the 4. They only had sugar free syrup, which changes the taste of the waffle.

There was no elevator for us when put on the 2nd floor with a handicapped guest. The breakfast was seriously lacking. The biscuits were hard and cold. The eggs and sausage were cold. No options for fruit, muffins, cereal, or bread. Worst breakfast I've ever had at a hotel.
