The hotel had an impressive lobby, but unfortunately, the rooms were very outdated. There was no gym or spa available, and the balcony mentioned in the booking was not in use. This trip was the second time I stayed at the hotel. I had a view of the Tokyo Tower this time and it was fantastic. There are three things to consider when booking this hotel. First, breakfast is fantastic but REALLY expensive. You are better off buying something downstairs in the Lawsons, but it's a shame there aren't cheaper breakfast options. Second, there are no gym facilities. I figured I'd get a lot of exercise in walking, but being in Japan in rainy season meant that there were days that I was just stuck. The hotel kind of suggests there is a pool, but it is only open for a limited time and it is expensive. Not open when I was there in late June. Finally, it is a wee bit dated, but still very nice. The area is super quiet, near a metro and generally this is a great option to be close to but not in Ginza.

Lawson downstairs was helpful for essentials and snacks. Sitting in the outdoor bar for a drink would have been nice but the drink options were extremely limited. Room was small, but clean. But if a walk for restaurants and to subway. Shuttle to monorail station doesn't have great hours.

Excellent location. Clean and large rooms. Dated but well maintained. A bit inflexible with check out times but not a big deal for me. Would be nice if you could open the windows even slightly. No exercise room. Overall good value for Tokyo and very nice location in central Tokyo.

Convenient location, lots of public transportation options within walking distance, safe quiet location. They do charge an additional fee for the pool usage as well as a small fee to dine in the terrace area after 5:00 pm. Room size was quite large compared to other Japanese hotels.

Immaculately clean room, deluxe king was roomy. A value for Tokoyo. Excellent breakfast: Japanese, Asian and European offerings. Convience store in the basement for snacks, beer, wine, toiletries. Staff on check-in and at breakfast were friendly and very helpful. Laundry, as in all hotels, is pricey for travelers needing to do lots. We suggest Laundry Lounge Konparu----Large machines. Did 7 kilos in two washers, then 2 dryers for 600+400yen each, 2,000 yen or $13USD November 2025. Machines work on coins, or a computer app. Detergent is included. Free wifi. Dryers had a cool down cycle to minimize wrinkling. An extremely clean facility, tucked into an alleyway just behind the 7-11. Use the 7-11 bathroom, get drinks there. From the Prince Hotel, about a 15-20 minutes slow walk, 950 meters.

Liked: Central location. Good views from room. Not liked: Rooms are old. Smelly carpet in the corridors. Bathroom is not flushing properly. No food allowed in the rooms.

We were traveling multiple cities in Japan. Stayed at both multiple hotels. The Tokyo Prince was by far not on par with the others. I realize it is older. But the condition and cleanliness was substandard. The Shinagawa Prince was significantly better, even though it was by far busier. Dirt in all of the corners in room and elevator. No temperature control in the room. We had a suite and it just felt haggard.

This hotel has passed its prime many years ago. The location and views of Tokyo Tower are great but it is not worth the money. Old fixtures in bathrooms, dingy carpets, seems like a hotel built in the 70s and never updated. Rooms were also very small.

My room smelled like an ash tray the first night. I was able to get it changed but it really impacted my ability to sleep and I was in a non smoking room. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal and the highlight of the stay

I used to live around this area and I know this is a nice area. But I have never stayed this hotel, which was super nice and quiet! March/2025 Wonderful place to stay. Very clean, easy access to get around. Restaurant and Café have great food and a lot of selection to choose from. All staff are professional, kind and willing to help. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are a comfortable larger room. We enjoyed it there and will stay again at any Prince hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tokyo Prince. Staff was always very polite. They made up our room immediately. The buffet breakfast is the best I've ever had and in my 75 years, I've traveled a lot. The location is excellent and I was only a stone's throw away from three train stations. I'll be staying here on my next trip to Tokyo

This stately hotel is located at the foot of Tokyo Tower... convenient to subway stations. Everyone on their hotel staff is professional and courteous. Tokyo Prince Hotel had the best breakfast buffet of ALL the hotels we visited in Japan! They have both an extensive selection of Western breakfast items (including made-to-order omelets) and Japanese breakfast staples, like porridge and udon. Their salad and fresh fruit selection was very good as well.

Great location right next to the Tokyo Tower and the famous Zojo-ji temple. There is metro station a few steps from the hotel and JR Yamanote line which can reach most of attractions. Lots of restaurants and shops within short walking distance. The hotel is a 4-star one and we got a really good rate stating there. Highly recommended if the rate is good.

Overall the hotel was good. As many reviewers had stated its an old hotel that needs a bit of udates, but the rooms are big and the staff are super helpful and nice. The location is kinda far from everything but great if you want to go back to a peaceful area without all the noise of a city. The area around it is very green and peaceful. Love that they have a Lawson downstairs to pick up any snacks etc. Otherwise you will need to walk quite a distance for any restaurants etc.

In sum, I enjoyed this place a lot. I found that the room sizes were comfortable, and very clean. The hotel is located steps away from the Toei Mita Line’s Onarimon station, and a comfortable 10 to 12 minute walk to JR Hamamatsucho station. For me, the hotel is conveniently located, And rather quiet in the early mornings in late evenings. The Tokyo, prince hotel was a wonderful place to stay, and look forward to staying there again.

There was so much to do in the area. If you needed a cab they were always there. The Tokyo Tower is just down the street. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel, amenities and staff were excellent Highly recommend this place
