It’s brand new, well located, and the staff is really sweet and helpful - plus they donate a substantial amount of their profits to education in the area. Loved it

Clean and quiet; friendly and professional staff; pretty good breakfast, included. Opening/closing bathroom sliding door was a little difficult because no knob. Also heavy front room door had no knob in the inside so it was a little difficult to open it from inside.

Very new and modern property. I was a little surprised that there was no television (or radio) in the room. The property is on a hillside, so it would be nice if they had some ramps so that you didn’t have to carry your luggage down numerous flights of stairs.

Our family of four stayed for two nights in the room with a queen and two large bunk beds and it was perfect for a short stay. The free breakfast was delicious and made to order. ALL of the staff was so kind and helpful. They helped arrange transportation to Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve and helped book a night tour at a different reserve, giving us a variety of options. We would definitely stay here again and will look into their sister hotels in Oaxaca and Nicaragua. As a bonus we saw parrots and a coati from our room.
