Rooms are spacious with perfect amenities. Staff was pleasant. Parking lot is small, we had to park on the street. Walkable to all shops and dining options. Great spot!

Our stay was great. The staff went above and beyond to take us to our Ada accessible room I am blind and my husband is physically disabled they were very attentive. Parking is a bit tight as we are in a full size truck with a platform on the back but for a normal car it would be fine. The room was clean and well appointed would definitely stay here again.

This has become our favorite place to stay in Morro Bay. It is small, comfortable, nicely appointed, and the location cannot be beat. One short block from the shops and restaurants along the Embarcadero. Easy walk around downtown. Across the street from Dorn's Breakers Cafe, our favorite restaurant. Manager is friendly and hires good people. The view rooms are upstairs, but beware there's no elevator. If you want something casual, not too expensive, with a great location, the Landing is it!

Check in was fast and easy, since our room was pre-paid online. We had an ADA room one of the light bulbs was out. Shower was messy with water going everywhere, floor slippery. The firepit is still not working. It wasn't working on our last stay either. Restaurants and shop's are within walking distance, which is convenient.

We stayed just one night, but my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is perfect—walking distance to shops, dining, and the wharf. Our pet-friendly room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff was exceptional. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend it to friends and family.

When we checked in, we were given a dirty room that had not been cleaned. When we let the front desk know, she made it seem like it was our fault it was dirty...we were given another room that wasn't the cleanest. The fireplace heater was also not working with remote, when we called office we were told to use the buttons behind unit that also were not working. The sink in bathroom was also filthy. The area where coffee maker was still had coffee rings on counter. Front desk clerk on Friday afternoon was rude. Front desk clerk Saturday am was rude.

I like that It was in the center of town. The front of house staff we very nice. We've stayed there before and liked it. I think it just needs some updating. The heater and air conditioner didn't work. The pull out bed was disgusting, had stains everywhere, and their cleanliness needs to be review. We got there and there was black hair everywhere and the floors were dirty.

Nicely renovated old-style motel overlooking lovely Morro Rock, bay and the estuary. Many rooms have a nice view out the front window. Easy walk to wonderful waterfront shops and restaurants. The room was not large, but very clean and comfortable with nice bathroom shower, fridge, microwave and a little table with 2 chairs. Comfortable bed with good bedding and towels. Easy free parking. The front desk person was very friendly and welcoming. When we had to cancel our last night due to illness, she assisted us in getting a refund which was very much appreciated.

The hotel looked well taken care of. It is in a good location. Those are the good things about the hotel. The room was noisy, in that you could hear every step from the outside. The floor was dirty with pieces of scattered crackers around, as well as other crumbs. There was no soap, shampoo, or other items in the room. The remote to turn on the heater was open in the back with no battery. The cable was disconnected from the tv. After bringing the issues up, there was an apology and a wish that we would return, which we won’t. There was no attempt at making the unkept room right.

The location was great, however we had ants in our bathroom. There were some things that needed maintenance, like the shower door handle and the shower head which were barely attached. The bed and pillows could have been more comfortable.

They had the room ready early for us and got us checked in and out quickly. The staff was so friendly and the room was lovely! So clean and the view was so pretty. I would definitely recommend anyone I know to stay here and would stay here myself again when I’m back in Morro Bay. :)

The area was perfect location; within walking distance of restaurants and shops and a great view of Morrow Bay. Our stay was great, however, thin walls make for an uncomfortable sleep, could hear our neighbor snoring and cell phone vibrate for morning alarm. Room air conditioner is very loud, had to have tv on full volume to hear it. I would stay here again though because of its location. I’ll just remember to bring the ear plugs!

Really nice, quaint little inn right on the waterfront! The room was clean and had an electric fireplace but the ac did not work properly. Pillows were a little old and lumpy and the bathroom had some spots of mold above the window. Overall ok for price. We arrived late and stayed for just a day so we didn't interact much with staff.

Fine hotel, great view of the rock and harbor. Updated decor, spacious room, high ceilings, no central heating or cooling so supplemental units offered. Pretty shower, some shabbiness happening with loose handles, peeling paint on cabinets. Wouldve been content except for TV situation. Same TV as i have at home but only free TV offered is old shows, ugh, just using pluto. Tabs for netflix, disney, etc....which i have subscriptions for, but u needed a roku code. I don't know what that would be... but was very disappointed not to be able to watch anything but old gunsmoke episodes....

Family trip, stay overnight only, I was concern about late arrival because front desk closes at 8pm we arrived after 10pm just to rest for the night but the receptionist gave us clear instructions as to how to retrieve the room key, we had no issues with checking in. The room was clean, beds were comfortable to sleep in. The only negative thing was there are no dark room curtains and day light filters thru making it difficult to sleep late.

We had to wait 30 minutes for someone to show up and check us in, there were two other families waiting as well. Who goes to lunch between 4-5 pm on a Friday? Plus there is limited parking, our room did not have an “ocean view”, was just a mediocre hotel.

Accidentally left my Movado wrist watch which fell from side table next to bed onto the floor. After multiple attempts to contact office via customer service, I at last contacted office and was told they have the watch which housekeeping found and deposited in their lost and found. They offered to return it via UPS the following day. They are the best! Thankful for honest housekeepers and Melanie, the sympathetic office manager. Will give them my business whenever in Morro Bay! Thank you, Melanie and The Landing at Morro Bay!!!

Absolutely one of the best places I have ever stayed. We got a free upgrade to a third floor room. The rooms are large and nicely furnished. The view was positively amazing. The young man at the front desk, Eric, was friendly and welcoming. He suggested a wonderful restaurant for us to have dinner. We just left yesterday and we are already planning our next visit to The Landing and Morro Bay.

Our family traveled to Morro Bay for a proposal of our daughter. When we initially booked, we had no idea how convenient it would be to food, shopping and nightlife. We were sort of rushed to make dinner reservations and first fit in the proposal of our daughter. Alan and Anna were absolutely AMAZING in helping us set up in front of their sitting area by the fire pit. It was a very special moment and if it weren’t for them couldn’t have pulled it off. We will forever have memories of this special trip.

The ladies working there were amazing. Very friendly and did everything possibly Could to fix the situation. I had very very loud upstairs neighbors that we had to confront. My husband and I have stayed many times at The Landing and it has always been pleasant, however this time was not the case. When my daughter and I arrived to the hotel at 2:00 pm to see if we could check in early, we waited for over 15 minutes and finally a women who works there stopped and was extremely rude, instead of kindly telling us we would need to come back after 3pm, she acted as if we were bothering her and was very rude and told Us to come back. Then when we checked into our room there was a chemical Smell in our bathroom which got worse when we would turn on the water, I went to the front to ask about it and the young girl working there said “I don’t know why it’s like that” I asked her to come smell it and when she walked in you could tell she had no clue what it was, just made some excuse about it maybe being the water and that was it, no solutions offered or even an apology. We couldn’t even shower or use the bathroom sink water because the smell was so bad. It was ridiculous and we won’t be staying there again.

This has become our favorite place to stay in Morro Bay. It is small, comfortable, nicely appointed, and the location cannot be beat. One short block from the shops and restaurants along the Embarcadero. Easy walk around downtown. Across the street from Dorn's Breakers Cafe, our favorite restaurant. Manager is friendly and hires good people. The view rooms are upstairs, but beware there's no elevator. If you want something casual, not too expensive, with a great location, the Landing is it!

Family trip, stay overnight only, I was concern about late arrival because front desk closes at 8pm we arrived after 10pm just to rest for the night but the receptionist gave us clear instructions as to how to retrieve the room key, we had no issues with checking in. The room was clean, beds were comfortable to sleep in. The only negative thing was there are no dark room curtains and day light filters thru making it difficult to sleep late.

Apart from 1 blind that you had to yank down hard to close the place was lovely. We parked in front of our room, got some yummy coffee and tea at the front desk and some candy and were able to easily walk downtown and see the otters and sea life plus lots of bars and restaurants. They have a lovely seating area in the "garden" to enjoy Morro rock and the outdoors. Enjoyed this stay and the excellent coffee.

Amy at front desk was wonderful and welcoming. Property has been upgraded, and some aspects were great-comfy beds, large room, fireplace, vintage photographs. But super tiny sink in bathroom, and lovely large glass doors and windows with great views, but expose your room to everyone walking by unless blinds are down-losing view. Great location, beautiful outdoor space. Coffee options in lobby were great.

The check in process was smooth and easy. The gentleman who checked me in was professional and polite. Not overly friendly or anything. I stayed in room 209. It had a great view of the town and the giant rock that this place is known for-Morro Rock. The room was spacious, clean and had a microwave and a small fridge. I wish it had a coffee machine though. They do serve coffee in the mornings in the lobby but I typically get up very early and enjoy a cup in my room. Otherwise, I liked the room very much especially the wooden floors; I dislike carpet in my hotels. The Inn is situated a stones throw from town below. There were plenty of shops and eateries along the bay. The area appeared to be clean and well managed. I only stayed one night so I didn’t really explore except on foot. I will be back. It was a nice stay.

Loved the convenience of this hotels location m, very central to most of MB desired places to explore! Nice friendly check in and asking for additional towels, super easy! My personal feelings are one tiny bar of soap for hands face and body is a bit chincy, maybe least offer 2 bars for a couple! Better yet, many nice hotels are putting in refillable soap conditioners and shampoo which seems more economical and no worries on having enough! Otherwise grab a house made local coffee before 9a after that move on….
