The hotel itself was good. Parking garage right there, 20 second walk to the subway that goes straight to the stadiums so very convenient. A little market with food and drink options. There was no coffee in our room which wasn’t the best. The worst part was the elevators. THEY’RE HORRIBLE and there’s no stairs! We asked a cleaning lady where the stairs are and she couldn’t tell us. We waited 15 minutes for down elevators before giving up and getting on an up elevator just so we could get in one. The parking garage, while convenient, is a pain. $38 for overnight parking and then the attendants take forever. FOREVER. we were 3 cars back and waited 15 minutes just to get out

AC did nor work, TV did not work, issues at breakfast with health flags. Staff members did try to help with AC and had to move us to another room (upgrade at no cost which was the right thing to do). New room TV did not work and treadmills in gym did not work Would not stay here again.

It was great until the end. Check in was simple and fast. Explanation of how the parking worked was good. The only thing that happened to us what the 1 hour wait trying to leave the garage as the hotel key card that is supposed to be scanned tonlet you out was not working for most guests leading to a long wait to get out.

Property was nice, overall. Staff were very friendly. A few areas were disappointing - some of the equipment in the fitness center wasn't working and, most significantly, the pool was not great. There were no towels in the pool area and, despite looking like it was inside on the photos, the pool and room are not heated. This made for a chilly swim and was not as much fun as we had hoped.

Hotel location was excellent. However, took almost an hour to get out of parking garage because system was down. On top of that, upon arriving back to the hotel, room key was disabled. Directed by hotel staff to stand on line that stretched the entire perimeter of the hotel lobby just to get room key reactivated which took over an hour because of check-in delays (again attributed to systems being down). Hotel blamed parking garage. Garage blamed hotel integration. No one expressed any accountability. Unfortunate experience.

A really nice hotel. It’s sort of dated and not nearly as clean as many Hiltons I have stayed in. The corners in rooms are dirty, bathroom shower corners. But, not so bad I would not stay . Room was large enough with great view of the city. Great to have on site laundry. The convenience of the hotel is nice. The B line picks up right outside. You can walk to many great spots. The think that I don’t like is the garage. It’s hard to grab a spot to unload and to get into the garage to park. The parking garage will provide parking for shows across the street , etc. So it’s pretty full most of the time. The $38 a day is to expensive just to park a car in my opinion. Wished they would lower the price on the parking and I would give 5 stars.

Check in was a bit of a wait. We were lucky to get a nice view of the city center and were able to walk most places we needed. That’s really the only thing I can say positive about this hotel. The room itself was of poor quality. Dirty sheets and comforters (which is my BIGGEST pet peeve about hotels). Pillows also had a strange smell almost like a stale funky odor. There seems to be a shortage of cleaning crew compared to hotel size because many guests had to wait long wait times for their rooms to be available. No microwave in the room and no ice machine on our floor. The cleaning staff was kind enough to bring me new sheets but unfortunately the replacement sheets were also dirty. Friend got a breakfast sandwich at the cafe inside the hotel and said it was stale. Would not stay here again.

The property is run-down including dusty vents. I was on floor 24 of 26. I’ve been very loyal to Hilton for decades. I will now ve looking if they have been renovated or built. This location poor cleaning many items moldy or broken. Not worth it. The want you to have a five star stay in a one star experience.

The hotel is in the perfect area within the city, but I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Upon check-in I noticed the cover to one of the beds comforters to be stained in more than one area. I called the staff twice and even went to speak to the front desk, but never did get a replacement that I had asked for. Exiting the parking lot was rather time consuming, be prepared

I was very disappointed. We had a mouse running around our room. This was the most terrifying experience ever-for myself and my granddaughter. This was suppose to be a recreation of when I moved my daughter to Temple-15 years ago (We stayed at this property then).

We were surprised how spartan the rooftop pool area was - the pool itself was not very clean, there were never towels there and they had to be asked for every time, there was garbage and broken glass on the outdoor deck, and the bathroom near the pool was filthy.

The staff was lovely and accommodated our early check-in, but upon checking in the drawers to the dresser will all open and we didn’t have any hand soap, our hot water wasn’t working and neither was the room phone. The room was nice and spacious, walking distance to restaurants and the beds were comfortable, but those other issues left a bit of a sour taste in our mouths.

After an amazing stay at the Hilton in Huntington Beach CA we thought we’d try this one in Philly too… although the staff were very nice and the location was really great, the hotel itself and the condition of the building and rooms left a lot to be desired. Not dirty, but peeling wallpaper in multiple places, foggy windows, old carpets, noisy air conditioner, lack of fan ventilation in the bathroom, just lacked the finesse we expected from a Hilton property.

I have not received the final bill from the hotel. A $200 charge for incidentals , but I don’t know what I was charged for. The Doubletree said I would receive it from Hotels.com, but I haven’t received it yet. I was placed in the room right by the elevators & could hear the elevator movement 24 hours a day.

The location was good, the room itself was dated with popcorn ceilings and Vegas style carpeting. This was hard to tell with the pictures that are used when viewing online. The room we had was extremely loud due to the traffic noise, so sleeping was very challenging. Maybe a room higher up would have been better. I wish I had known that the parking garage was not inside the hotel itself so you will have to walk from the garage next door to get to the hotel. Also be prepared to carry all your luggage yourself. They do not give out any luggage carts, so multiple trips needed to be made back and forth from the car to the room, it was not convenient at all. This was very annoying considering how much the parking cost but I guess it's better than finding street parking.

We chose this hotel for our trip to Philadelphia, and overall I'm happy with it. The parking was a mess (the machine didn't accept our room cards, and so every time we wanted to get in we had to take a new ticket, and to get out we had to leave our name, check in/out dates, and room number with the booth attendant. It was a bit of a hassle. We were in a room on the side of the Avenue of the Arts and even though we were quite high up, the noise from the streets was incredible. There were so many police sirens, loud engine revving cars and motorcycles, and even car stereos that were so loud it sounded like we had our room TV on full volume. We were also there over Pride Weekend, and so we had a heavy police presence around the hotel most of our stay. The hotel, itself, was fairly nice. Our room was cleaned inconsistently (we got new towels some days, some days we didn't. They took our old soap one day but left us no new soap, etc.) The toilet in our room was not bolted to the floor, and rocked around dangerously any time we sat on it. I notified the desk who advised they'd send maintenance, but the toilet situation was never fixed during our stay. The room was clean, however, and the room (aside from street noise) was quiet and comfortable. In spite of a few hiccups I'd stay there again.

The hotel is kind of outdated they don’t have any USB ports except for on the clock radio. The plugs in the room are very loose. When you try to plug things in the safe in my room was not operational and the coffee machine in the room was very dirty inside I didn’t even want to make coffee, I also called for room service several times and kept getting a voicemail that said it was full so I never got to order other than that the staff was very friendly. The location is in a convenient area. The bed is comfortable.

We booked this hotel due to its prime location. The pictures online in my opinion are a bit deceiving, but it wasn’t the worst hotel. We got to our room a little after 6pm and everything was fine. Check in went smoothly. Once we got to the room we did our usual room sweep, we didn’t see any critters or bugs and the sheets and bathroom were clean. We didn’t have trash bags in the two trash cans in the room. In my opinion I think a trash bag in a bathroom trash can should be standard. Luckily, I had two grocery store bags that we put in the two trash cans. I called the main lobby and asked if someone could bring us trash bags, and additional towels and wash cloths. I was told they would be right up and they never came. The next day I had to call the main lobby again due to the fact that we never received the trash bags and towels and wash cloths. The kind room attendant came and provided us with the towels and one big trash bag. He said it was all he could find. The hotel in a whole isn’t a bad place to stay . It’s prime location to anything you want to get into. I would probably stay there again.

The elevators are very small, and very slow. No trash bags. The instructions on the shower were backward and i froze. Will not be staying there again.

I've never experienced such rude people in a hospitality setting in my life! We arrived with a ton of luggage which we tried to drop off before pulling into the extremely inconvenient parking garage. Asked to use a cart and we were told there weren't any (which was a lie) and the lazy bellman offered no assistance. Then the room wasn't available so we had to check all of our luggage which took forever to get the assistance of the bellman (again.) The lobby was incredibly hot and uninviting so we walked around for hours until we could get into the room. Check in people were rude and unclear in their assistance. We asked to use the restroom since we just came off of a 4 hour drive and got grilled as to whether or not we were guests (btw, the restroom in the lobby was not functioning so had to go up to the 2nd floor) They threw two stale cookies at us and sent us on our way. HORRIBLE service. The room itself was acceptable. Just everyone who works there is horrible.

As a person who travels to Philly for work multiple times a year, I will not recommend this hotel! The location is great, the complimentary cookie was fantastic and the room was clean; I wish the negatives didn’t ruin my whole experience. Every moment you walk into the lobby, you get harassed by employees who are selling packages and a no isn’t good enough! They literally followed me down to the elevator! After a long day of work or moments before I start my long day, I don’t want to be bombarded which such harassment! Now another reason why I booked this hotel was because of the indoor pool and I was super disappointed! It was unbearably cold in the pool room and the lobby leading up to the room! The water was very much lukewarm if that, and if you did choose to take a dip, you’re risking catching a cold while getting out! Parking I can say was convenient as it was right across the walk way of the hotel. The downside is it is pricey & felt pretty unsafe as there isn’t a direct entrance from the lot to the hotel. Very sketchy lot! Wouldn’t recommend, and it’s sad because I normally love DoubleTree!

The hotel is in a prime location. Parking is easy and considering its center city very reasonable to park. Getting him from the parking lot to the hotel isn’t the easiest but it’s not difficult. The worst part of the hotel is the staff the desk staff is quite indifferent not very friendly and seem annoyed. When you ask them a question I never once saw anyone smile. I was also upset because I had booked a suite and a regular room to find out. They were in two separate wings of the buildings that required a secondary elevator to get to the rooms. I was lucky enough to check in on my phone using the Hilton app so I was able to pick floor five which prevented us from two elevators the beds are very comfortable. We had a total of three rooms and every single person said it was the best sleep of their lives. The only thing with the rooms is even with all of the lighting the room seem to be very dim. All in all I would definitely stay there again, but just don’t expect polite service from the front desk.

Over all we had a great stay. The location is great. Room was very nice and housekeeping was very friendly. The ice machines are on the 5 th floor and both broke mid stay and were never fixed which was annoying. The hotel has 22 floors so it seemed odd they only are at one location. Breakfast service was very poor the day we ate there…very slow and there seemed to be plenty of staff. They just didn’t seem to eager to work. Service in the bar was good though. I would stay there again.

I had to attend function at Academy of Music which is just across the road. Place is pretty quiet and peaceful and really clean. Parking is also convenient considering it’s downtown. Plenty of restaurants in just walkable distance.

Right in the heart of downtown amdist the theatre district and just a short drive to the main tourist attractions. An excellent location, although the noise level remains high even well into the night with loud cars travelling the streets.

We had an issue with a leaky toilet in our room. Though it was an inconvenience, the staff and maintenance was great trying to accommodate the issue. Overall a good experience. I would stay again. The breakfast buffet is on the high side but definitely delicious

Over all we had a great stay. The location is great. Room was very nice and housekeeping was very friendly.
