Gorgeous hotel in a great convenient spot. All staff were friendly and nice. Rooms are lovely too but lack a fridge and iron and ironing board and if being really picky, the bathrooms are very small. The rooms were really nice though. Great lighting, bedding and seating. The only other point that could be improved is the breakfast option. A scottish breakfast would have been nice as the choices were limited. The lack of food availability at any other time is also a drawback. They have a lovely bar but no food service other than breakfast which is a shame as it's such a nice place to sit and admire the V&A, having a meal there would be even nicer. We would go back though due to its convenience and comfortable rooms.

This is a new building attached to the railway station with well equipped rooms. Good value and easy walk to the city attractions. Bar with a nice view and friendly staff, limited menu but good quality at cheap prices and ideal for a wet evening. We were concerned about the lack of parking but in fact it was easy with a drop off area next to the hotel and only a short walk away. You just have to get the ticket validated for a discount at the car park which is cheap, safe and clean.

We haven’t stayed here since Sheraton have taken over but are very happy to say that standards are still excellent. The hotel is in a great location and is immaculately clean, the rooms are a generous size and have everything you would need. The bar area is great for a drink or a coffee and all the staff are really helpful and friendly. The food options are limited but as the hotel is within a short walk of the city centre it doesn’t really matter. There is no parking at the hotel but plenty of options nearby. We used the Greenmarket car park and the hotel can validate your ticket to get a reduced rate (we only had to pay £5.20 for a 24hr stay) Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Dundee city centre

We have stayed at this hotel many times when it was sleeperz It has had a very classy facelift in the communal areas and the bedrooms have a bit of facelift too It was always a reasonably priced hotel it’s a bit more expensive now And with that increased rate I feel the breakfast could be better and more of choice and more Scottish Apart from that no other complaints The staff are very friendly and helpful and a credit to the company

Easy check in at this hotel right on top of Dundee rail station.. Room comfortable but the colour schemes are a bit garish.. Some wear to the top cover and wall finishes show a small refresh is needed.. It sort of reminded me of the Holiday Inn Express - which I really detest.. The room was comfortable and the glazing really cut out any street noise.. It was also well insulated from corridor noise.. The bed was comfortable.. Charging points for USB devices was appreciated.. I didn't use the WiFi nor take breakfast so I can't comment on these.. The shower was excellent and the bathroom generally clean and well thought out.. Parking is an issue here and unfortunately you have to park elsewhere at additional cost.. I paid a low price for my stay and the price I paid reflects the type of hotel and room.. I have seen this hotel ask well over £100/night.. At that price it is simply not the best choice.. I would recommend the Dundee Apex if you are looking for more style and finish.. Plus parking (albeit paid) is much easier..

Clean hotel in a good location. Above the station, over the road from Discovery and the V&A. Only a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. Staff were lovely. Pillows felt cheap though. Premier Inn have better pillows I did have to park a little walk away, possibly there were better options if I'd researched, but definitely no parking on site

Another excellent stay. Staff were amazing. My hairdryer didn't work in my room and I went to reception to tell them. Within minutes l had a member of the reception team at my door with a new hairdryer. Staff are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. My room was clean and the shower was fabulous! My view wasn't great from my room but I didn't go to the hotel to stare out the window all day. Bar staff were lovely and make great cocktails. I will definitely return soon.

Initially we were allocated a disabled room which we didn’t ask for nor were we informed about by yhe Scottish lass at reception. I returned to reception and politely asked about having a standard room the receptionist rather shortly responded by saying “ there’s no drama” and went on to mention that there were no stand double rooms available, only triple rooms and family rooms. I do feel that she should have at least asked if I’d like a disabled room or not . It’s obvious that she just wanted to get rid of the disabled rooms. I failed to mention that the dialled room was freezing cold and had a horrible smell within it too. Also, it would have being a nice touch if there was an iron available. The breakfast could have offered a gluten free option and vegetarian or vegan sausages. The cleaning staff ere very good and the other receptionists were very accommodating too.

It was a great stay ! Had some issue with check as a result of IT booking system ( wonder similar to airport cyber attacks! lol) . But reception staff solved it in a few minutes. Very happy with reception service . 6 Start . It’s in the same building of dundee train station! I wish they could make a hidden lift entrance to the station:)

Gorgeous hotel in a great convenient spot. All staff were friendly and nice. Rooms are lovely too but lack a fridge and iron and ironing board and if being really picky, the bathrooms are very small. The rooms were really nice though. Great lighting, bedding and seating. The only other point that could be improved is the breakfast option. A scottish breakfast would have been nice as the choices were limited. The lack of food availability at any other time is also a drawback. They have a lovely bar but no food service other than breakfast which is a shame as it's such a nice place to sit and admire the V&A, having a meal there would be even nicer. We would go back though due to its convenience and comfortable rooms.

Great one night stay. Nice room. Good location. Easy to park and with discount that's £8 per night. Very friendly staff and all helpful. It was nice that all staff were smiling and asked how you were. Good night sleep. Breakfast extra in our stay but good buffet.

Excellent value hotel close to town centre and V&A. Comfortable bed, staff very friendly. We are in hotel for dinner, good value and served piping hot. Breakfast was good value, good quality bacon and sausage. Would recommend a stay here

The hotel was very clean and the staff helpful and frendly. Breakfast was adequate but not as good as travelodge which in itself isnt great. The bed was too firm for me and the shower impossible to use without soaking the bathroom floor.

Ideal location. Very basic room. Very clean. When I looked on web site it said buffet breakfast but didn’t realise the charge was £11.95 per person. On arrival at hotel we were told price had gone up to £13.95 per person.

We haven’t stayed here since Sheraton have taken over but are very happy to say that standards are still excellent. The hotel is in a great location and is immaculately clean, the rooms are a generous size and have everything you would need. The bar area is great for a drink or a coffee and all the staff are really helpful and friendly. The food options are limited but as the hotel is within a short walk of the city centre it doesn’t really matter. There is no parking at the hotel but plenty of options nearby. We used the Greenmarket car park and the hotel can validate your ticket to get a reduced rate (we only had to pay £5.20 for a 24hr stay) Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Dundee city centre

Right next door to the train station. There is a bus stop outside for travelling to St Andrews The food in the hotel restaurant was surprisingly decent. Although it only opens at 5pm on a Sunday.

Staff mixed friendlines (1 bar member couldn't even understand English to take drinks order as she was obviously foreign) didn't return after. Breakfast very basic with cheap items. Cold bar in evening and no food available. Room ok and Reasonable value. Excellent transport links.

All good on arrival with friendly reception desk staff and room being ready early. 12 midday. Very clean hotel. Despite the location of the railway station there is no noise heard at all. Room was very clean. Quite spacious although rather short of storage space for clothes Bathroom is VERY compact, wouldn’t suit any more than two people using the room etc Decent breakfast choices although when it was busy several things had run out all at the same time. The two members of staff were working very hard to keep everything replenished and clearing tables

No parking on site, as a disabled driver this created a problem, the nearest parking in station car park and only 2 disabled parking spaces! Arrived late and there were no options for getting something to eat! Appears there are 2 Union Streets in Dundee, make sure you get the right one if using Satnav!
