Days Inn by Wyndham Atlantic City Beachblock

Fairly small hotel with moderate “budget beach hotel smell”. Needs new carpeting and updated electrical outlets (only one near bed and was hanging by a thread. ) The location is great..half a block off the boardwalk, with free parking. It was very convenient to drop my beach chair and things in my car before going up to my room. The bed was comfortable, shower was good and towels were good.

On arrival, the lobby had an odor. The elevator...you didn't know if it would make it up. The hallway had a disgusting horrid smell. The room was nasty!!! STAINS on some of the bedding. We booked from 8/10-8/13. We could NOT even stay for one night. Ughhhh!!! AVOID!!!!

The hotel was good they don't have a microwave u have to go downstairs to warm your food up we eat out everyday so that didn't matter for breakfast they give u a muffin and juice or coffee so we eat breakfast out they do have balconys but if your just looking for room with a balcony next to the boardwalk and free parking this is your place we stayed 3 days and it cost 360 that's not bad to be on the board walk the custumer services was great thanks days inn

Worst hotel to ever stay in. I was going to take a shower & it was a dirty & disgusting & I told the front desk & he sent someone to clean it but it’s like did they not clean it from the last person that was there. Only had one ice machine with barely any ice in it & worst of all they have bed bugs..

Pool advertised as open, it was permanently closed. Lobby looked run down, there were side doors duct taped shut. The elevator did not work. Balcony door in our room was broken and could not open which may have been for the best since the foundation looked unsafe. Breakfast was advertised to be included but consisted of two juices or coffee but no food. Staff was average but not very helpful. Hopefully your staff can do a little better job in the vetting process when these hotels advertise because we specifically picked that place for the location and amenities advertised. We will not be staying at this hotel again and will be checking out other sites for our next trip. Hopefully you can earn our business again in the future. Thank you!

There were no outlets in the room except one that hardly worked. Hole in the bathroom door. The beds felt like rocks. The bathtub had hair in it and was very dirty looking. The elevator looked like something you’d die in. There was a trap house next to the hotel. Outlet in the bathroom did not work. We had to unplug the tv and fridge so we could charge our phones. The pull out bed looked like someone definitely pulled out. A lot.

The hotel is convenient for being close to the boardwalk. The bed was comfortable (clean) as well as the bathroom. There's a fridge in the room. But no microwave (there's only one located in the lobby. The room looks NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS. They need to replace all carpet in the rooms as well as the hallway. There's only 1 elevator. If you're looking for somewhere to sleep and shower. This will do.

Tv only got one channel, when ask to fix it I encountered heavy resistance, the decor look like it was from the year 1969, the web site pictures are very deceiving,they offered a Continental breakfast , which was something in a bag, my wife and I use the stairs, elevator did not look safe, did not enjoy my stay at all

Definitely a “you get what you paid for” hotel. Fairly dirty, and the elevator was annoying, it only stayed in its spot for like 5 seconds so I missed it a few times. There’s also another Days Inn a few blocks away so that was weird. Right on the edge of the bad side of town, I walked only a few blocks away for a phone charger and it was a very different area. Anyway, it was fine for the one night I was there.

Customer service checking in and out was great, very pleasant staff. There was no extra fee for parking & they accepted cash for the “damage deposit”. The hotel overall needs updated, but it was pretty clean and comfortable for 1 night. The location was very close to the boardwalk which was very convenient.

A super dirty, run-down place with a nauseating smell from the moment you walk in, and a disgusting bathroom with dirty towels.

The room condition was terrible. No appliances work properly. The owner of the hotel is literally cheating customers. The hotel website has breakfast. But they only serve muffins and juice. Also, we were staying 3 nights and did not get a housekeeping service. When I asked the manager / Owner, they said we should ask for that. The room carpet was dirty and very old, and we got allergies. Everything were so dirty.

The room was FILTHY!! Stunk like cigarettes. We checked in and left after an hour. Absolutely disgusted by the room. Dirt, stains, sticky substance in walls and doors. Cigarette burns in bedding. Just gross.

My girlfriend and I couldn’t get a good night sleep due to feeing itchy. We both woke up with bed bug bites.

Location was the only positive. Exterior in disrepair. Lobby shabby, run down, uninviting, strong smell of smoke including marijuana, elevator really strong smell. Room was in disrepair although odor was not as strong there and refrigerator worked well. Door key had to be rekeyed before I even got in once. Desk staff was a positive.

I typically book a budget hotel for quick overnight stays so I am very accustom to the quality of Days Inn and Best Westerns and hotels of that type. They aren’t fancy by they do the trick for a nice and comfortable one night stay to get rest and feel refreshed in the morning. This was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There were no redeeming qualities to this hotel besides the convenience of the location from the hotel to the boardwalk and AC train station. The lobby was dark and dirty, the hallways were dark and dirty, the room was dark and dirty. I had 4 lamps in my room and only two of them worked. The shower head was coated in mold. The shower floor was dirty. I refused to take a step on the extremely stained and loose carpet without my slippers on. I did not feel clean after my shower. All the screens on my windows were ripped. The free “breakfast” is coffee, a packaged muffin, and orange juice. I hate to write a negative review because I am always grateful for a budget hotel option in an extremely convenient location. However considering that this hotel was only about $150 less than the higher star rated options in the areas I would highly recommend springing the extra money of that is feasible for you. Because this option was a severe disappointment and did not provide any feeling of relaxation, comfort, or safety.

The first room we were given was horrendous. Room 384. The wall where the bed is is covered in black mold, as well as the box spring. They switched us to another room. 376. The room was literally falling apart and the smell was horrid. I've never seen a worse hotel in my life. We left shortly after switching to the second room. The manager was made aware of the state of room 384 and I showed him the photos I took. I pray this gets corrected before someone else stays there. I would add the photos except it's not allowing me to, despite there being an "add photos" option.

The building looks sketchy as well as not cleanest. The room was also moldy on the walls and ceiling, the bed skirt had mold, the sheet had cigarette burns and the window did not lock and was wide open. While I was there a worjer I think just walked into room luckily the latch was on. The TV didn't work either.

Could use a major upgrade. Bed was comfo not good water pressure first night there was a lot of noise . Coffee didn’t stay hot and the refrigerator froze everything. The convenience of everything was good. Probably would not stay again.

It was the best one i stayed at in awhile.Friendly ,clean,our room was spacious.

Place needs a major upgrade. It can also use a deep good cleaning. And lot's of repairs

The main light doesn’t work. The main hall was dark and smelled like smoke. The building needs huge renovation inside.

Loved my room with a Balcony. Great room if your like me and just need place to throw your suitcase and a place to sleep. Walkable to boardwalk ,Irish Pub, and Jitney. Easy in and out parking. No hidden extra fees. Coffee in the morning. Someone at front desk as all times. No Frills so its nothing fancy. Better then over paying for a room in the Casino. Ill book here again for sure.

Room has not been decorated since the 1970s. The entry door did not shut properly, the safety latch screws were falling out, The carpet was dirty, felt like shoes were sticking to it. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was hanging out of the celling, there were no wash cloths, the door latch was broken, the door frame was rusty. The screen in the window was torn out in places. Room was highly unacceptable.

Staff were nice

They charged my card before I even checked in and canceled my reservation because of it getting denied (im out of state, so my bank has to approve it to make sure its not a stolen card). Because of this, I didnt get the same room i reserved. Gave my father and I a room that had the wallpaper pealing off in the bathroom and a shower that the floor was bending in and felt unsafe in and the water didnt even drain. Whoever ran the customer service at night when checking in was very rude.

The First wasn’t cleaned properly. There were no sheets on the bed and the staff was very accommodating. They gave us a new room, but the hallways were dirty and smelled of food. We checked out at 11 and there was no continental breakfast available like stated, only cold coffee

They were rude as hell and turned my service dog away and that was after I made sure they accepted service animals

The issues first arose when the staff called me to authorize my card at 1:30pm, before check in. I was uncomfortable with this since I have never had to do that at any hotel I’ve stayed in. I was then told if I didn’t provide my card number, my reservation would not be guaranteed. Since I was already on the road traveling and did not want to be without lodging I reluctantly provided the information. A $249 hold was then authorized. When I arrived to check in another $249 hold was “required” or I would have to pay $100 cash for incidentals. When I questioned the process, since it was far different from anything I’ve ever experienced, I was told it was “in the terms and conditions” on the third party booking site. In all fairness, I did not see or read this, but giving them the benefit of the doubt, I continued with the check-in process. The front desk attendant made it a point to mention that the reservation only had two people as if it was an issue that three people were staying in a room with two double beds. He did give us a room with a pullout sofa, but that was no consolation for the sketchy card authorization practices. When we got to the room, the keys were not operable. I went to get them fixed and only one was working. The balcony door was ajar upon entering the room, it was subpar and dirty by my standards, and you could tell many patrons were smoking cannabis. I would caution anyone who is considering this hotel to pay a little more elsewhere.

We have stayed here every year weve been coming to Atlantic city except for once. Staff is always nice and very helpful, it is within walking distance to all our favorite places to visit and have meals. This yesr we had an issue with our transaction and they were super quick to help and see that it was corrected, we are still correcting it but they have helped every step of the way. We will continue to stay here on our annual trips to AC.

Cleanliness of the room and bathroom were sufficient. Hotel management was very helpful. Bed was a little soft for our personal tastes but we had a pleasant stay nonetheless. If people want to complain about their hotel, they are travelling wrong. Get out of your hotel and experience the town you’ve visiting!

The staff was very accommodating. They switched my room since I had a issue with elevators. They were friendly and professional. Only issues was my room was cold and the heat was not hot enough. The room served its purpose for the one night.

The service was just meh—staff weren’t rude, but definitely not friendly or helpful. The rooms felt outdated and worn down, like they haven’t been refreshed in years. The area around the hotel didn’t feel very safe, especially at night. It wasn’t a total disaster, but I wouldn’t stay here again unless there were no other options.

It was literally 1/2 block from the boardwalk

This hotel is in a poor area in Atlantic City. I arrived at 11 am and parked in the open lot next to the hotel. The hotel is located very close to run down residential properties.There were persons in the parking lot, that looked homeless pushing shopping carts with their belongings in it.There was garbage blowing around the parking lot.the lobby was cluttered and dingy. I told the person at the desk that this hotel was not suitable,and i would not want to be entering or leaving the building after dark, or worry that my vehicle would be broken into overnight. I did not feel safe here, and please give me a refund. I did not even know if i could find another hotel, but i was not going to be staying there.The manager told me since i used an outside vendor (Hotels.com), and it was the day of the stay, i could not get a refund. He then tells me if i gave him 50.00 cash he would give me a cancellation code to somehow get hotels.com to give me the refund. Giving the man cash did not sound remotely legitimate. I left knowing i had no recourse and lost out on $129 dollars for the room. A friend staying at the Tropicana was able to secure me a room for $279 dollars because they had a cancellation opening up a room. This was a bad experience financially, but my personal safety was more important than the money lost. This particular Days inn has been grossly misrepresented in my opinion.You get what you pay for.

Although the Inn is not far from the boardwalk, it’s far enough away to be in a different world. Surrounding area does not feel safe. Obviously no frills, but the price is still too high for what you get. Must uber to the casinos - not safe to walk. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Property itself was al litte old and worn. Surroundings consisted mostly of parking lots. Very positive: The Boardwalk is only steps away.

Stay here often when I'm in town.. I've even been giving the same room a couple times. Very convenient location, especially for this last visit to see the Christmas parade all I had to do was walk like 500 ft and I was right on the boardwalk.

So it's super close to the boardwalk. It's in a shady location, drug dealers and SW within two blocks. The hotel is not at all how it appears in the photos. We had to ask for breakfast which they then grabbed two muffins and two juices. It's "grab and go" they said. The place was run down and outdated. While our room appeared clean, the sheets were stained with black makeup and it looked more like it gets a wipe down then anything. Weird, weird, weird is all I can say.

Outdated, holes in carpet in the hallway. Outlet in room wasn't secured to the wall. They advertised breakfast in the ad, but there wasn't any. Staff at check in and check out were polite and courteous, no problems with staff.

It was clean and very quiet. 2 minutes to get to the boardwalk They have coffee,tea, muffins, orange juice and apple juice every morning. Everybody is very polite and professional.

Bare bones and dated, but (mostly) worked for a couple nights. Breakfast consists of a two-pack of small muffins and an OJ, plus coffee. There are no real amenities, but parking is easy, adequate and included, and the adjacent, open lots do not provide any cover for vagrants. Decent neighborhood, convenient to the boardwark and Perry's (for breakfast), and even the convention center is walkable.

Only positive was the nice staff. Bathroom was not clean, hand towell had someone's hair tangled in it. "Breakfast" was 1 pre-packaged muffin and the coffee tasted horrendous. Very disapointing.

it’s is good when need something quick n cheap. and a high balcony u can see the ocean. fairly quiet at night when the air is on. no free breakfast. a muffin and a juice. 1 per person! place is falling apart. no very clean, bed are too broken in. it’s in a state of decay! free parking. if they cleaned it up; they would definable money!

This place is dirty. It smells bad when you enter. No place to eat breakfast. They just give one orange or apple juice along with mini muffins or dannish in a bag.

This property is trading on its closeness to the Boardwalk, half a block. The outside has been refurbished but the interior is in desperate need of being refurbished, rust stains on metal fittings, peeling fittings. Do not get me wrong there was nothing wrong with the hotel except the breakfast and need for internal TLC. Everything was very clean and everything on the website was available and worked. However the “ to go “ breakfast consisted of a muffin, a bottle of fruit juice and a choice of tea or coffee.
