Must have room for the WSOP. really wish all the elevators were operational though. Lot's of waiting during the rush.

Escalators to the self parking area regularly stop working. The optional elevator for use doesn’t work either. The pool which they advertise as the highlight of their facility isn’t operational. It’s full of water, everything looks great but it’s not open. The highly touted “advanced air filtration system “ to remove cigarette, cigar and pot smoke is next to useless. Everything smells like tobacco smoke. You can’t get to the registration desk, or to your rooms, or any other access without passing through the casino floor. The escalator to the restaurants off Flamingo don’t work either. They routinely put barricades blocking them off. If you can’t use the elevator, or the escalator then they are in violation of the ADA laws. I’m disabled and had to use the stairs up 35 steep steps three times. I reported it to the front desk and nobody cared. There are no drinking fountains in the entire building so they expect you to pay outrageous prices for a bottle of water. I purchased a bacon/cheeseburger and a strawberry milkshake for $43.99. It’s owned by Caesars, which owns Horseshoe, Flamingo and the Cromwell. However, only the Horseshoe is smoky. I went into the Flamingo and the Cromwell and you could feel a vacuum in the ceiling sucking out the smoke. I walked past someone smoking and as soon as he exhaled it was sucked up into the ceiling. Not over at the Horseshoe. It was working marginally at best. Then there is the $20 per day for parking, and another $20 room Fee.

Arrogant personel at reception. The pool is closed for the winter. No info about that on hotels.com. We only received that information after booking.

The Horseshoe is a great location in the middle of the strip and has good coffee bars and you can walk through to the Paris .The pool has been closed the last two times I have stayed here which is disappointing .The walkway entrance and lack of elevators working in the outside areas can be a bit frustrating .The cabinet of Curiosities Bar is fun ,good cocktails and fun atmosphere.

The room was clean and the size of the room was a plus. However the elevators were horrible only 3 out of the 8 elevators were working. Several people including us waited 30 minutes for the elevator when trying to checkout, causing everyone to checkout late.

Great location and clean rooms

The room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. We called down to have the room cleaned when we arrived, and then again multiple times over the next two days. We also spoke to two people at the desk in person. Each time we were told that someone was going up to clean the room. We were also told that a housekeeping manager was going up personnally, and told that a manager would reach out by phone, which didn't happen. Ultimately nothing was done for our stay of three nights. There were papers dated two days prior to our arrival in the room. Long, dark hair was in the tub, shower, by the toilet, and sinks; garbage was on the floor; pubes were in the shower; makeup was on a mirror and light switch; and there was a dead bug in the shower. This was a celebration vacation so we paid to upgrade the room. They refunded our resort fees after repeated contacts, but would not clean the room. Who knows what is being cleaned at this hotel. Don't stay here, we won't be doing so again.

Unfortunately i pulled back the chair cushions in our room. There was popcorn and trash under. The bathroom paint is peeling. Thr toilet bowl was all cracked and toothpast splattered on the cabinents. Good room size and bed pretty comfortable

I drove in from Flagstaff, Arizona and checked in about 9:00 p.m. or so. I soon left to pick up our oldest Daughter at the Las Vegas Airport. For Thanksgiving with us in Arizona. Her delayed flight from Chicago O'Hare arrived around midnight. We thereafter went back to our Ninth Floor Horseshoe Room. Then down to the Food Court for a slice of pizza. Because neither one of us had eaten since lunch, and both us were very tired from a long day of travel. My Daughter, upon pulling down the covers on her bed, found blood and what appeared to be wet pubic hair on the bed sheet. Very disgusting. Nauseating. Beyond unacceptable. I therefore called the front desk and demanded a room change. Whereupon we had to repack our bags, and then returned back down to the front desk for the keys to another room on the same floor. Now 2:00 a.m.!! The front desk people were only tokenly-apologetic. The only concession we were given was the waiver of our $20.00 parking fee. Expected more. Our family, incidentally, (my wife and our three bright and beautiful Millennial Daughters) have driven to Las Vegas for weekends countless times since moving from Illinois to Flagstaff in 1997. When our Daughters were 6-years, 3.5 years, and 10-months old respectively. And now of course older, and often going to Las Vegas for weekends with their friends as well. But for all of us: A Strip Hotel Casino other than Horseshoe next time and in the future.

Room was very clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would stay again if looking for a hotel on The Strip.

The stay was overall great. Except for the cleanliness furniture was dusty and the floor needed vacuuming. Some dusty coins left in dusty corners.

Found chair dirty and floor was not clean. The chair had articles like food on it from previous guest. Very disappointed.

The hotel is quite old even tho they “renovated” its not really. Still run down looking. The bed was fantastic. The shower was not really cleaned properly. There’s grime on the walls and hair from previous people in the shower. For what we paid it was adequate but we will not stay here again. I had an accident not to my fault at the hotel an no one reached out to me to check in or offer me an upgrade to a room with a bath tub so I could at least soak the pain away. Quite disappointing but the security who helped me was very kind and attentive. The desk staff were rude. Location is quite central though.

Everything was filthy and damaged. No tissues in the tissue holder, smudges all over the windows and glass. Stains EVERYWHERE. Elevators were shaky and poor lighting in hallways to rooms

Room was clean and spacious.

The room could use some updates. Paint was peeling in the bathroom. There is no coffee maker in the room, it was very basic for the price. Coffee and breakfast foods are very expensive in the lobby.

The AC does not stay on or go below 68. The temperatures were 103-106 outside. To make the air work you had to physically touch the thermostat or it would not turn on. This left us walking into a warm room coming from the hot Vegas strip.

The stay was great only bad thing the lowest temp for the A/C was set to 68 couldn’t go any lower. Maintenance had to come to my room there was nothing they could do but to see if I could switch rooms. Since my stay wouldn’t come close to 24hrs it wasn’t worth it.

Spacious, clean room, comfortable bed! Great location!

Check In was very slow. Room on the other Hand is very big and comfortable. Price was 123€ per night. Due to the nice Location (view on the sphere from the room in you are Lucky, Bellagio and Venecian only a few minutes. I’d recommend it.

Could hear a lot of noise from outside.

Im not sure if this is something new in Vegas but Ive traveled a lot andIf I get in early I will try and check in early and im either told yes there is a room ready or no your room is not ready. In this case they wanted to charge me 50 dollars to check in early. I was wondering why the check in was at 4PM. Now I know why. Im surprised the check in isnt at 5 pm. I have never had to pay a fee to check in early. So of course I sadi no and I came back at 340, 20 minutes early and they wanted to charge me 20 dollars and I sadi no. They're already screwing people with the resort fee. I guess thats not enough. Going forward if I go to Vegas again it will not be at the horseshoe. Thank you

Lost lot of time with self checkin line later when it has issues , we were asked to again stand in line for in person check in

Great hotel EXCEPT CHECKIN was a true NIGHTMARE even with “Express Check In”. NOTHING EXPRESS about it! We stood in a HUGE line waiting for a kiosk to use a QR code and get our key and room assignment. They must do better with checkin and look up the definition of the word “Express”. Our business partners stayed at the Paris and walked right up to a kiosk and had a true express checkin! The process was less than 5 minutes at the Paris! Good job Paris. Learn from your neighbor, Horseshoe. I have stayed many times when it was Ballys. Horseshoe failed in this category miserably and that is sad because every other aspect of the Horseshoe was great!

Kindness is free, checking in at 4pm there was a line which was fine, however the person staffing the line was rude and even a simple question was answered in an extremely disrespectful manner. There was no concept of customer service I understand they probably have lots of guests and deal with high volumes but this really stood out as a bad experience in a week of our vacation where we have now stayed in 4 different hotels. This was the worst check in experience. Otherwise the property is nice, location is good.

Upon checkin the front desk clerk was condescending. We were tired from our flight, in older and she treated us like we were stpid that we didnt understand rhe instructions.

Check in kiosk was not working; long line at staff check in counter; booked room was not ready at 7pm; had to switch to a less priced room but without money back.

The room was really nice but the bellhop was the worse experience ever! It was an older, short man who just shoved the bags in our room and said he didn’t have time to take the other bags to the other room we had booked, even though we had called and asked if that was okey TWICE! He was very rude, even from the start and our experience went down a lot from that.

Air conditioning did not work very well. Room would not cool off past 71 degrees. Talked to hotel front desk and they wouldn’t help. The smell of cigarettes in the room was awful. Front desk said we shouldn’t be smelling cigarette smoke, no smoking allowed. It was awful. Staff was very unhelpful and we asked to chance rooms and they said no. And I paid for an ungraded room already for my birthday. Will never stay here again

Kiosks are not accepting hotel.com reservations number. Only one employee ( on 10 kiosks) helps guests with this issue -taking DL and coming back with Horseshoe reservation #. Took 40 min to check in

Decent rooms, decent location on the strip. Wanted to charge me $25 to check in 20 minutes early. So I waited the 20 minutes and then was made to use a kiosk to check-in. Seriously they wanted to charge me $25 to check in at 3:40 not 4:00 and I had to use a kiosk

Love horseshoe, it’s in the middle of the Las Vegas strip

Great location. Clean, big room. Check in, check out was easy. I even had good luck with the gambling. I Will return again.

Great location, large rooms and has a monorail stop, making it easy to get from one end of the strip to the other.

Great location on the strip for exploring Las Vegas. Reasonably priced accommodation that was clean and spacious.

Great value hotel in the heart of the best part of the Vegas strip. Easy access to the Paris hotel (internal connection) and also easy access to the strip itself. Numerous affordable food options close by (in the Bazaar shops) and also 2 convenient pick up/drop off ride share & Taxi areas.

Had a great stay at The Horseshoe. The location is pretty close to the center of the strip and has several food options near by.

Best budget in the middle of the strip. Not a big hôtel, easy to move around, connectés with Paris. Very pleasant stay.

Room was nice. Room was clean. No issues there. Express check out is great. Staff at the lavazza cafe are extremely rude and unfriendly. The other cafe the staff are rude and slow. Coffee is barely drinkable at both places. 0/10. The machines are old are boring. Update your slots. You’re 10 years out of date. Bar staff were friendly. Not sure I’d stay again. Morning coffee on a business trip is too important. Paying $9 plus tip for bad coffee is criminal. Especially if the staff are rude and slow.

Check in was fine. Room is cleaned and newly Remodeled . Location was great. Restaurants Limited inside the hotel. But plenty of fine dinning near by.

More food options would be nice

The only staff I saw were house keeping, security, and beverage servers. But they were nice. The dining options were pitiful. The choices were super expensive or greasy fast food in the food court. We ended up going to the Paris side, which was also horribly expensive. This is not unique to horseshoe. Vegas is now too expensive for us to visit.

A reasonable rate for staying on the strip but our upgraded room had a view of the sphere and there was daily LOUD music that was crazy! Couldn’t figure out if it was the sphere or some club we didn’t know about. Nice food hall and access to some nice restaurants.

The room was comfortable would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room You had to go down every day to get your coffee which a regular coffee wass 7.99 each. The staff was quite helpful they charge a 47.00 resort fee plus the $50 deposit. They could at least give you some coffee years ago. You got free drinks in the casinos. I can’t even get a coffee free.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. We were able to upgrade with a minimal charge to a room with a view of the Sphere. The towels do need to be replaced. There are several good food options, however the prices are ridiculous. We also really enjoyed the beautiful pool.

They charge $20.00 to check in early and a $50.00 a day resort fee which covers parking, pool and internet, the pool was closed all week, we play keno in the lounge through out the day and night and they no longer allow their cocktail waitresses to serve their anymore ! Bought a Burger with a salad at Guy Fieri’s flavor town $36.00. We’ll not be coming back!
