Ok, first the hotel is currently under construction. Second the pool is closed. They no longer offer a shuttle from the airport. The rooms were just ok and you still have to pay a $35 a DAY RESORT FEE for nothing, literally TV and internet. Outside of Vegas those are free everywhere. The Internet didn't even work in the room. I wanted to like this place, I didn't want to be on the strip. I figured I'd go to dinner and have something delicious. Ordered the steak and eggs and the steak was LITERALLY bad, not over cooked, like it stunk, I took one bite and as soon as it hit my mouth it came back out, made the waitress smell it. I will never go back.

Good place to stay close enough to strip but far enough from crowds. Elevator did not work and had to ask to get room cleaned which we did not know we had to do. Renovations going on.

The property was close to the strip quiet location and safe.the casino beside the hotel had great dinning options even for vegans. On the other side of that there was no microwave in the room, small tub and ants were on the sink and in bathroom.

I’ve stayed at this hotel with free parking, close enough to the strip and a fairly inexpensive option. This was the first time I’d seen cockroaches in my room, so I avoided eating at the restaurant within the casino, just in case.

We loved our stay at Ellis Island. We only had one complaint and that is that the AC powered off and on all night long and sounded like a plane was taking off in our room. It kept waking us both up. The room was very nice and clean. Best water pressure in a hotel I’ve experienced in a long time. Hopefully they can fix the AC units.

its a standard dated hotel at a very good price taking in count is right behind the nicest part of the strip. The heart of the F1 happening in November is nextdoor so again, location is the best. overall everything was ok. Casino is pretty busy, I was shocked they have also a karaoke bar, a big sports bar, a restaurant and a sandwich and pizzería! my only complain is the vending machine (snacks) at the hallway didnt work and pillows are like rocks.

For the price, it's a really decent option if you aren't expecting/wanting to do a lot of stuff on the property itself. The room was clean and reasonably large. The AC is a bit loud and the lighting in the room isn't amazing, but again this isn't the hotel you book because you're planning to spend a lot of time in the room. It's not on the strip, and Vegas blocks are gigantic, but you can get from the door to an entrance of the Horseshoe in under 10 minutes. If you're thinking about booking this but wondering if something is horribly wrong because the price is so much cheaper than other options the answer is no nothing is really wrong with it.

The woman who checked us in was very pleasant and the walking distance from the strip is nice. The overall cleanliness was good. The two things we didn’t like were the pillows (very small and full of lumps) and the level of noise from both the street and other rooms beside and above. Normal noises (driving, walking, talking and bathroom use) but heard very clearly regularly though the thin walls.

Overall had a great stay. Room was very clean as well as bathroom. The TV kept going out when we were watching so that was a little frustrating especially right when you're at the end of a movie and missed it. Need a bitter coffee pot. It leaked all over and had to clean it. Bed was very comfortable. Need a little better pillows. We stayed at the Ellis because it said it had fitness area. So when I got ready to go after the first night we found out that the fact you did not have one. It's not on your website but when you Google it, it said there was a fitness area. Overall I have to say we had a very relaxing, comfortable stay.

Convenient location close to the strip. Rooms are surprisingly luxurious and upscale for the price. The hotel is deceptively budget-looking on the outside. Very comfortable and amenity-filled. My first choice when staying in Vegas.

There were only two staff members at the check-in desk, making for a lengthy wait. The staff members were knowledgable, friendly, and courteous. The room was clean, and there were enough pillows and towels. The toilet seat was loose, however, and shifted when one shifted their weight to get toilet paper. For many people, myself included, this can cause aggrivation or injury to back, neck, hips, etc...A guest laundry would be welcome. Construction was taking place during our stay, although we weren't bothered by any construction noise. It did make for some unsightliness and detours, though.

Even though it is definitely a budget, friendly hotel, I would have expected better customer service. We asked for early check-in and they said no rooms were available, which was completely fine and so we just parked our car and spent a couple hours on the strip. We came back around 4:30 PM and checked in, but when we got to our room, it reeked of cigarettes and marijuana, and the air conditioning was making a very loud rattling noise. I asked if we could switch rooms and one person at the front desk said there were no more rooms available and did not offer any solutions. I asked if there could be air fresheners and a maintenance tech sent to our room and the maintenance technician Came to our room and folded up a piece of paper and put it in between the blinds to stop the rattling. And he called this fixed. It was not fixed because the rattling noise was still there and so I called the front desk from our room and all of a sudden a room opened up. The second room that we checked into had boogers on the wall and the air conditioning was still rattling, but not as much. We just decided that it was good enough and stayed in that room for the night.

So we were not expecting the Ritz but i was expecting courtesy from the staff. In regard to the room, it was adequate. Clean, no frills, easy location. Now front desk was rude upon check in when asked a quesrion about an upgrade, in which i was fully planning on paying for. Then we went to the Village Pub to eat. My granddaughter was holding an adult's hand and on the main path and a casino worker yelled, "she cant be in here". When i asked if she was allowed in the restaurant, she said yes. So then i asked how we were to ge there if she cant walk through and was told to "Get out"

I just wouldn’t stay here again. First, they did not have a full compliment of staff on for check-in. There was a huge line, which is normal for Vegas, but check-in stations were open and there were staff doing other things. I realize check in isn’t their only job but maybe it is right at 3pm? The elevator wasn’t working during our 4 night stay. We asked for a room on the first floor and you should to if you’re staying here soon. The hot tub never worked while we were there and always had yellow tape around it. On another note, in this day and age, hotels usually supply microwaves as standard in the room. While they had microwaves, you had to rent them per night and then they delivered/picked it up. First time we’ve ever seen that. Lastly, the clerks at the front desk were either awesome, helpful, and friendly or they were surly, at best. It seemed a 50-50 shot which one it would be.

One of the Gentleman upfront was EXTREMLY rude. Had pleasant interaction with Maitence and cleaning people. But the guy upfront who handled myself and my mom’s room was the rudest person. If he hates his job he should find a different one

When we asked if we could check in early, we were told that it was possible but they didn't have any rooms later. I tried a couple times when I was going past and got the same answer. The last time was 15 minutes before check in. Then magically at check in time, all rooms were ready and there was a long line of people checking in. I would have preferred the just told me they didn't want to check anyone in early instead of me having to check numerous times.

I was pleasantly surprised. This place was half of what it cost to stay on the strip, so I was a little nervous. But it was super close to the sphere, and that was the purpose of being in Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised with the condition the cleanliness and the comfort of the beds. If you are on budget, I definitely recommend this place.

This hotel is a great option for those that want to be off the strip but still in the middle of everything! Rooms appeared recently remodeled, hotel overall felt clean, staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant was good and reasonable, and the casino was small but glad to have me playing! We were there for a show at the sphere and walked with no problem! We walked to the strip multiple times in about 10 minutes each way! We had a rental car and parking was ample! Never felt unsafe walking anywhere! I don’t know when we are going back to Vegas but when we do we will stay at Ellis Island!!!

Ellis Island is a chill little casino about 12 mins walking distance to the middle of the strip. It's always been clean and quiet when I have visited. Free parking, good food, nice small casino area and everyone was friendly and helpful. Never had no problems 😜

The hotel portion was fine. Comfy bed, clean room. The 24 hr restaurant was a bit dirty (table and chairs). The sports bar restaurant was bad service. Anytime I went, different people, all with poor service. Any time I ordered a drink, it took a long time for bar tenders to stop their conversations and then would always remind me that tips aren't included. I was also denied a table and told I could only sit at the bar. The place was never that busy.

We loved our stay here! The rooms are nothing special and would’ve expected a bit more space for the price point we paid but it was a clean place to sleep at our favorite casino in Vegas. The Village Pub has great breakfast and you get 50% off two drinks and one free coffee at the other restaurants in the casino with a hotel stay, which was a great bonus. Free parking close to the strip can’t be beat.
