We were disappointed after driving a few hours to get there and they no longer had a hottub. It was advertised in 3 different places we looked at that there was a hottub, but in fact it had been filled in. We were excited to stay somewhere else in Sioux City that has a hottub but will now go back to the other one we stay at. Also, very disappointed in the lady running breakfast. We walked in a few minutes before breakfast was over knowing we wouldn’t have many options and were ok with just cereal. Only to see there was a lot of their hot items still available but she was pulling them as we were standing there and telling us to leave the room so she could clean up. We couldn’t even get a milk out because she had locked that cooler. The juice machines were also shut off. Very Very Rude!! The Good: The building is beautiful, the pool was ok, the front desk staff was great!!! We loved our big room, the beds were comfy and they did allow us a late check out. If you don’t care about the hot tub or the breakfast… I’d recommend staying here!

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Sioux City in July 2024. We were there 2 nights. From check in to check out, everything went smoothly. Loved the free parking and the included breakfasts were great … healthy delicious choices. The room was clean and was refreshed for the 2nd day there, a nice surprise. Staff was friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!

Seems like a newer property that is undergoing a re-fresh. Breakfast was excellent, the pool and hot tub were good to use after a day of stressful driving. The bed was super hard for our tastes, and there was a solid back draft of cold air blowing in the bathroom fan vent. This could've been from the excessive wind in the area, but the only way to stop the freezing air from coming in was to turn on the bath fan, and we didn't want to leave it on all night, too noisy. Overall it was a good stay for a waypoint. Not sure I'd choose it if I was staying in town for an extended stay.

Pros:Clean and comfortable. Ease of checking in. Spacious rooms. Front desk clerk seemed to be a good worker as she was folding towels when she was free. She also was professional and kind. Cons: No sunna or hottub and only showers in the rooms. To get in the front door, i had to walk through smoker residue as the front entrance smelled of present and old cigarettes.

This hotel was great. It overlooked a neighborhood, which was peaceful and was near the minor league ballpark, where we enjoyed a game. The room was huge and great for our family of 5. We were quite comfortable there and actually able to spread out a little. Great place and great stay!

We have stayed at this property several times while in Sioux City. Hotel staff is always nice, and location is centrally located to shopping and dining. And the shower is AMAZING! So much that my 8 year old likes it lol.
