The overall stay was great. Only concern 🙁 parking. It was very hard to park I think if you are staying and paying. Premium per night a parking spot should be always available during your stay. One day I spent 30 minutes to park. They also charge for public parking and it was packed having to go around and around to find a spot open .

This place is a joke and a total waste of money. We had a three day/two night stay. Elevators did not work upon arrival and mostly throughout entire stay. Lugging everything to the 7th floor on stairs was difficult, especially on the elderly. Doorknobs were broken and folks were getting stuck in the pool bathrooms, not being able to get out. Reported to management, and they simply removed the door handles. Super 8 likely would have been a far better stay, and definitely much cheaper!

This was a great property to stay at. The biggest problems we had were most likely still hurricane aftermath related so we will give them the benefit of the doubt on those. The only thing we didn\'t like was being charged the "resort fee" and not getting any the of the resort amenities. The pool/bar area were still under repair so I don\'t really think it was fair to pay those but it is what it is. We would stay here again its a nice property, the location is great just a couple minute walk anywhere you would want to go on Clearwater Beach.

The property was under construction because of the hurricane. And booking this online, we did not know that the area itself was damaged pretty well from it, and they were doing construction everywhere. We still enjoyed our stay as we had to fee on a higher lever because of the construction. But overall, they did the best they could.It should be noted the area is under construction. the option to use the pool next store at the hotel. And having breakfast there to partner with that hotel was nice, but it was an added $35 in order to be able to do that once we got there. Overall stay was ok.

We stayed right after the two hurricanes so there was construction underway on the first floor; however, the hotel rooms were very quiet and clean. Parking was available in parking garage and we had use of neighboring hotel pool and restaurants during our stay. Given the situation, the hotel and their staff made our stay very comfortable and would recommend anyone wanting to stay within walking distance to beach and great food to stay here.

I guess for the price is ok. Won’t be going back. The place smelled like weed 24/7. The shower wasn’t clean, the towel hangers were falling off. The place needed some revocation badly.

I enjoyed my stay. Shopping, the beach, restaurants and other food options were all in walking distance. My room was very clean and comfortable. The view of the water, dolphins and passing boats were the highlight of the hotel. I would stay here again.

Hotel staff are very helpful and polite. The hotel is clean. I feel like the elevators could use a facelift. My room was perfect. Very clean - spotless to be exact! Parking is easy, with a garage on site. Ocean front with restaurant and live music each night! This is my 3rd time staying here. Very reasonable rates for Clearwater! Will be returning in the near future.

The staff was not friendly. The king size bed in our room was awful,. It sunk down in the middle terribly, needs replaced. The room was clean. However, I was surprised at the condition of the hotel not due to the flooding : rusted table lamps on the nightstands, ceiling rot and mold in the bathroom shower, very old and short toilet with a rusty handle and did not flush well., old cabinetry/mirror and light fixture that did not match the room decor, older faucet fixtures. The housekeeping did an excellent job on a daily basis. We love the location and have stayed here many years ago at this hotel. The pool area was very kept and tiki bar was convenient. The common area was always humid and warm as if the a/c was down.. In all, I was surprised this facility was a Holiday Inn.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. Rips in the carpet, bugs on the floor, hair in the shower. Rude people at the front desk. I was appalled. I debated just sleeping in my car after arriving.

We booked a 2 bedroom suite with a king bed in one room and bunk beds in an adjoining room. It was clean, but the king bed was so uncomfortable that I could hardly sleep. The kids bunkbeds were falling apart and scratched up. There is no door on the adjoining room, so there was very little privacy. They need to put a full size microwave in that unit as we could not even make our kids popcorn. Other than that, the property was well-maintained and staff very friendly. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant, which had live music. Sunsets were unbelievably beautiful. The outside grounds are well maintained. We were also able to walk to the beach and places to shop. I would stay there again, but not in the bunk bed suite.

This may sound weird, but their toilets in the rooms are so low to the ground, made getting up difficult. If you have any issues w getting up, I don’t recommend. We have family in Clearwater so we are in town a lot. We stay at this Holiday Inn because it’s like having your own apartment. 2 Complete rooms. With 2 full baths and a balcony for views. Kitchen families if needed. The suites are worth the price. Nice Dining and entertainment too. Pool is warm.

From the photos when I booked, we were expecting beach front property, so we could walk down on the beach. That was disappointing, but the view was very pretty from our 4th floor corner room. Great location, very clean. Live band plays every night until 11 pm (not aware of this) no heads up before booking and our room was on the 6th floor right in front of the band stand. Maintenance guy starts power washing the deck in front of the band stand on Saturday at 6:30 am! Food was great and pool was nice.

Room is tired - they have a few newer furniture to make it a little better- noisy ac unit. But the views you get what you pay for 10/10 right over top of the restaurant jimmy’s on the ocean - live entertainment at night able to enjoy from our balcony- dove products to use inside room. Staff friendly. Didn’t use their pool because why go on the pool when you’re 5 mins from the Clearwater beach ☀️

Gulf-view rooms are definitely worth the upgrade - amazing views of the water and the famous sunset! Rooms are a little dated (furnishings, fabrics, etc) but clean and comfortable. Overall a great experience in a great location.

Not counting how you have to park across the way and take two elevators to get your room, a crazy woman came banging on our door at midnight screaming to let her in and rattling our door. They did absolutely nothing. It was terrifying. Couldn't sleep all night. Claimed to be sending security up but no one called us back nor did they ever say anything. Won't be returning.

Overall the hotel is ok. Most of the staff was nice, except the manager C.B. or at least that's what she said her name was. Horrible customer service from her. She and another guy (pool manager) made the biggest deal about us leaving our 3 young kids stuff out on the chairs. They cleaned it up and told us different stories about how long we can leave it unattended. One said 5 min the other said 15 min. They ruined our breakfast as she proceeded to argue with my husband and I about it at the breakfast table (jimmys fish house) My husband couldn't even finish breakfast he had to go sit with our stuff by the pool so they don't take it. Instead of maybe saying "hey you guys didn't know so its ok today but tomorrow don't do it." No she wanted to be completly rude about it. However we seen other people do the same and no one came to move their stuff. If you have rules apply them to everyone. And she sits at Jimmys Fish House bar almost every night drinking its just unprofessional to see. Rooms can be cleaned better floors always dirty, our socks were black on the bottom. Some of those vents in the hallways are black? Mold?

We did not have a good experience. Our room was changed that morning to a smaller room but for more money. They said our room was still available, but for more money than Expedia confirmed for us 3 weeks earlier. someone canceled it and changed it to the smaller room on of near the day we checked in. Expedia didn’t do it and we didn’t do it so it had to have been the hotel. Our room was broken so they moved us to another room. That’s room did not have electricity at the bedside and the phones didn’t work. They kept trying to reschedule maintenance to come up, but we just wanted to enjoy our trip and not wait for maintenance. It should’ve been fixed before we got there. I kept having to run downstairs to talk to the front desk because the phones didn’t work. I counted The young man at the desk, saw my frustration and offered to comp is a full day. I trusted him and didn’t ask for it in writing so when we checked out, they said they couldn’t do it because they didn’t believe me and said he probably was just comping you for the day rate of 30 some dollars. I said no he said we would only City he probably was just be charged for five nights, not six nights. The said no way. The staff and the property outside were very nice, but the game room was closed. All the video machines were gone there was no mention of that on the website. The glass door was locked and the sign on the door said game room closed sorry for the inconvenience. Love Clearwater, but it could have been better.

It wasn't just the hotel, it was the amazing staff that accounts for the raving review. This was my second time staying here, and I am so glad I chose it again . Angie and her staff are incredibly friendly, attentive and prompt. From the minute I checked in to the moment i checked out- it was a marvelous experience. There is not one bad thing to mention, and that is not being exaggerated. Looking forward to my stay next time I am in town !

Everything you need in a hotel and more. Angie, Diego and Brian at the front desk were positively amazing. The hotel may not be the newest on the strip, but the amenities and the service more than make up for it. Awesome pool with a tiki bar, a separate restaurant with a bar and live music, and the legendary Clearwater Beach a short 5-minute walk. Jetski rentals next door. Plenty of alternative restaurants nearby. Our room was a suite with a kitchen and a balcony with a Gulf view. Loved it. We’ll stay again. Recommended.

We got in late at night and the front desk clerk was the perfect start to our stay. The facility is older as other reviews have said but it is well taken care of and very clean. From day one all encounters with any staff was friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurants are so yummy and it is an easy walk to the beach or shopping. We would stay here again!

The attached restrauant was definitely very good, great service. As for the parking is was difficult finding a parking space, for the amount of daily room rates the additional resort fee was not a plus for returning to your hotel. It added more expense to the price of our stay. Your staff was very good and very helpful.

The stay was okay and a great view of the sunset but Hotels.com said parking was $25 USD a night and it was actually $37 USD a night plus taxes! I was a little disappointed in that. Also, we paid in advance $15 per person for breakfast each day and come to find out anything above that above that you had to pay the difference. There was no reason to pay for breakfast in advance. I liked the suite we had and the hotel staff. I didn't love the breakfast, I wish it was a normal buffet style or at least a choice between sit down and buffet. It wasn't really free breakfast because you have to pay for tip/tax at a minimum. One of the elevators was down, which was inconvenient

The view is beautiful! You don't have to go anywhere for meals or drinks! Staff at Jimmy's are awesome!

Best open air sunset bar and deck right by the Gulf. The pool is also great with a nice Tiki bar and located right up against the Gulf. We do not mind the short walk to the beach because these views from Jimmy’s Iguana Bar and pool are so worth it! We really enjoy our stay every time. Recommend some upgrading/refreshing, but otherwise love it here!

The service in the restaurant was terrible. myself and my guests of seven were seatted with very little attention and when the food was served it was cold. I would not eat there again.

Overall it was a wonderful stay! Things are a bit outdated - the A/C's weren't the best but rooms were clean & very spacious. You can hear EVERYTHING elsewhere so sleeping in is basically impossible. The location is excellent.

The property was older and dated. The staff was nice and the amenities were older but functional. this is not a high end hotel but it was fine.

Very nice and helpful staff. Parking convenient, in house restaurant was good. Balcony in our room faced the street so no view. Short walk to the beach. Room was OK. Had some mechanical issues, the second maitainance person was helpful and took care of it all. Non carpeted floor may need cleaning. Otherwise room/beds/BR were fine. Room rates reasonable. Short drive, but good walk, to get to the the shops on the other side of the roundabout. Overall, the location worked out well, was nearby to a conference attended. Would stay there again.
