Service here was amazing! The ladies at the front desk made check in and check out and any requests I had a breeze. The only thing that I’d note that might not be on the listing is that you will have to pay for valet parking. About $50 a night! But on that note, I would say this is one of the better valet services I’ve experienced.

The hotel was located near to where i had to work. Hotel was nice. One thing tho, people need to be aware if you stay at this hotel parking isnt free. its valet parking only. for overnight parking its $44 a nite.

The hotel has no pool but a great small patio on the 8th floor where you can sit and relax…my reservation included parking but if not it’s a $40 valet parking per day…the blvd was near about 5 minutes in a Uber

Staff was there but looked like they wanted to be elsewhere. Maid came before 9:00 am asked them to come back later they never came. Room service is every other day! When they did come the following day they did the absolute minimum. Parking at 44/day must use valet. Tipping is via the text messaging app with a 5.00 minimum. Poor valet was overwhelmed in the mornings! Property needs some major updating it looks very lived in!

The check in is ridiculous, says there us a valet but noone there , no way to check in really without parking first . You have to park on 3rd level or above and no entry to hotel without key so you have to get out of the structure walk around to the front . Not cool check in period and then they charge 35 for parking

Great location-3 block walk to Vanderbilt and $5 Uber to Broadway. Affordable, Dog friendly, nice staff, free coffee, big rooms, lots of nearby restaurants not as jammed as on Bway. My second stay here. I’ll stay here again.

The place was okay to stay in but nothing to rave about. Had issues with the bathroom but they moved us to accommodate. Hotel smells musky mixed with pot throughout entire hotel. I would look at staying at the Hyatt, courtyard, or Marriott which are next door or across the street for the same price and updated without the smell.

The reviews for this hotel were extremely misleading. Upon arrival the lobby smells strongly of mold. The air is so thick it’s hard to inhale. The rooms did not have the same odor so I decided not to make a big deal. At 9am a tall man doing housekeeping tried to come into the room forcefully as if the room was not occupied. If the top lock would have not been used my privacy would have been invaded. To make matters worse As I gathered everything to leave I found how disgusting the room actually was. I stayed in the double bed suite room number 416. One of the beds had a massive brown stain as well as the wall in the bathroom. Immediately after leaving I contacted the third party my reservation was placed through. The manager agreed to check it out yet two days later still no return phone call. I even called directly to leave a message myself, still no response. If I am passing through Nashville again this will never be a choice to consider staying. After contacting Expedia I am just continuously reminded of the hotels no refund policy regardless of the disgust I found. There is no protection of the consumer. My hard earned money can not be refunded because of a policy although the hotel did not hold up to their standards. Expedia has lost a customer. I will absolutely take my complaints to corporate.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Modern rooms and lobby clean clean clean! Couldn’t get over how clean it smelled and looked. Pillows were typical hotel pillows. Would recommend 10/10

The property was ok. We had an issue with our first room where it smelled really strongly of urine, my husband who doesn’t notice smells often, even noticed it because the smell hit you in the face as soon as you opened the door. The front desk staff was able to accommodate us in a move to a different room, right next door, no odor. Unfortunately there were no more king size rooms available which is what we originally booked but that was ok because no smell. One of the elevators was really shaky around the 7th or 8th floor and that was a little scary because we stayed on the 10th floor. And the bathroom was clean but didn’t have a shower door so water just kind of sprayed on the floor, not a ton but a light sprinkle for the duration of the shower.

My first time using Aloft. Check-in was delayed because of some type of computer issue that would not run my credit card. Arrived at room, but it had not been cleaned since the last guest. After returning to front desk, was eventually assigned a new room. Room was clean, but hair from previous guest was stuck to one of the pillow cases. Other than these issues, everything else was fine - very average hotel.

Do not be fooled that this hotel is under the Marriot umbrella. The room was huge, dated, smelled and felt wet. The outlets are old and mostly didn’t work.

Honestly the rooms are huge. The room had a couch with a side area for guest or kids. The area is very walkable to music row and about a mile down the road to broadway bars.

Place was a good location from Vanderbilt (less than a mile) and Broadway bars (1 mile but walkable) the room was big and clean. The walls are paper thin so did hear people next door every night but not the worst. 4 out of 5. Solid stay overall

We got in from Ohio around 1. Went to check in and the front desk didnt hesitate, got us a room right away. She was such a friendly lady! Rooms are huge and clean. Only downfall is the room didnt have much light it was pretty dark.

Aloft was a great location in Music Row and had a pretty nice atmosphere. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. There was no way to open the blinds on the windows and the shower leaked water all over the floor and onto the carpet - but these were minor inconveniences. We were frustrated with the TV and how hard it was to get the Tennessee Titans football game - we missed the first quarter completely. The air conditioner was also very noisy.

The women who manage this property were most personable, pleasant, and accommodating from the moment I entered. Property certainly needs some upgrades but my room was comfortable. WiFi and mobile reception left me in a dead zone outside of lobby. Very accessible location with quick rides under $10 to Broadway. Great stay.

I have stayed here three times before. My daughter attends Vanderbilt University. Today, upon entering the front desk, woman was rude. She asked me to insert my credit card and I said I’ve paid for the room and I’ve shown you my ID. She replied: This is for valet parking. I said the thrice times I have been here. I parked my own car. She stated.: We don’t do that anymore. So I had to carry my bags and my son carried his back out to wait 20 minutes for the valet to show up. He was kind, but it took another seven minutes for him to take down information. We were tired. We’ve been on the road for over 18 hours. We had to carry our bags up the steps and over to the elevator. This probably would not have been a problem had been graded with a smile. Explained why Being charged for valet and the fact that the valet person was not available when we arrived. Also, the TV Which is never been a problem I cannot access the movies which I am required to rent. When I returned from having dinner with my daughter this evening, I walked in front desk, person sitting there no one else around and not even greeting. Why am I going to call down and report that I have a system message and I can’t watch TV.

Didn’t feel like an Aloft, or a Marriott property generally. Called ahead and very unfriendly. Glum. Same on site. Staff just not interested. And the property, layout, garage attachment is just plain weird. Aloft/Marriott needs to blow this place up and start from scratch. Also, when staff are this bad there’s always an on-site management/Leadership problem. Got to be.

We were just here for one night but really enjoyed the stay. The staff was beyond great. They were super helpful, extremely nice, and very efficient. Could not have asked for better customer service. The room was very spacious and clean. It’s not that close to Broadway, kind of walkable but not really. Probably best to Uber it to downtown. But still great hotel and would stay again.

Didn't fully appreciate the distance to Downtown and the walk along a busy dual carriageway. Local bus didn't help. Otherwise, hotel, staff and facilities were good and most importantly, we had a good shower and a good night's sleep.

Really enjoyed our stay! I really loved the location close enough to walk to all of the fun on broadway but far away it is not right in the middle of the craziness. Bonus was it is only a couple of blocks away from a Whole Foods!

We had tickets to go see Wanda Sykes at the Ryman so it was 1.5 miles. We took a taxi each way. It was perfect and the hotel staff were all fabulous and the Barr area. Good food! Great drinks. And our room was fabulous. Nothing we can say that we feel was missed

Pretty nice place close to Broadway without being to close. Close to busline so able to use city bus for local transportation. Super kind and friendly staff. Only negative for me would be surcharge for breakfast.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere of Aloft. We were always greeted with positive employee interactions. The fitness center was great, we tried the breakfast and it tasted amazing. We will definitely be staying there again.

I received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was great. The staff member that assisted me at checkin was really nice. The lobby area had lots of seating, and was very comfortable. The bar had excellent cocktails and a few food options. We were with a large group, and the staff was very helpful. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

Great accomodations & service. Front desk gave great recommendations for dinner & attractions to see. Only bad thing was the bar in the lobby was not open due to no bartender that night, but I own a bar & I understand. Will definitely stay again!!

This is my second stay at this location. The location is convenient to the universities and there are multiple restaurants nearby. The location is also easy to reach by nearby highways. I love the room lay out, and the parking and building staff are friendly. The inconveniences: being required to have the valet park our vehicle, the limited menu at the grill, and not having a microwave in the room. I would rather park my own vehicle with in and out privileges then wait in line for the vehicle. The text to send the message for your car doesn't always work. Also, a Fruit and yogurt parfait, non dairy option for hot coffee, simple bacon and eggs, or lighter options would be appreciated for the menu. All in all, it's a nice hotel. I didn't go to the bar this trip. But I don't know if I'll pay $44/ day for parking next time plus tips.
