The staff are always very friendly and ready to help. Parking is very easy. Many good dinner options are within walking distance, including the Grant's in the property. Hot coffee are ready every morning before 7am. It's real coffee, I mean, not something you get in most gas stations or McDonald's. There is a filtered drinking water tap so guests don't need to buy bottled water as they have to in most other hotels. We stayed for four nights during our ski vacation at Stowe and are very happy with our choice. We were there near the end of (the ski) season so there were not many guests and pretty quiet. However, the rooms are not soundproof, as the case in most this kind inns.

We loved everything about our stay at this beautiful and charming inn! The location is perfect to enjoy downtown Stowe and the Inn itself is so pretty. Our room was clean and spacious, and we loved that we could help ourselves to extra towels. The complimentary coffee, tea and pastries were wonderful, and our lunch at the Grant's the Inn's restaurant was delicous, and made extra enjoyable by the gorgeous mountain view from our table on the lovely porch. We enjoyed all the staff, including the lovely older bearded gentleman who cares for the beautiful gardens. The firepit was an added bonus - we only wish they would add a couple of more on the patio so more guests could enjoy sitting by the fire at night. Highly recommend and already looking forward to returning!

Great spot located a two minute walk to the main part of town. If you’re a skier it’s about ten minutes to the resort. Food was great at the onsite bar/restaurant. Kudos to Amanda at the front desk, excellent job in making you feel welcome and informed about the area.

We loved our stay here! We were in the modern motel section (a great budget-friendly alternative), which is directly across from the main building, with a shared parking lot, so it's easy to enjoy all the amenities available in the lobby, including free coffee, tea, and cocoa, along with a filtered water dispenser and a cabinet of extra towels and toiletries. The room itself felt cozy with soft lighting and was spacious enough to move around easily despite our multiple suitcases. Coat hooks by the door were much appreciated, as was the cozy bed. We had dinner one night at the hotel, which had live music, wonderful service, and an excellent, fall-driven menu. I'd make a reservation ahead of time, as it gets busy quickly. Last but not least, we arrived about an hour early, and the person who greeted us at the desk was friendly and accommodating. I wish I had written down her name because I appreciated her welcoming energy and willingness to let us check in early since the room was ready. It started our stay on the right foot. We will definitely book this place again in the future, though we may switch it up and try the main building next time.

Pros: I loved the walking distance to the village. Very very clean room and bathroom. Cons: mattresses were sinking on both sides. We were staying in the outside motel style and it was extremely noisy since the parking was outside the door. To top it all, their were tractor compressor machines leveling the parking areas- it felt like an earthquake with the whole room buzzing and shaking. The outside cabins should have closed while this work was being done. It was unbelievable. Lastly, it rained both nights we were there and it hit our window ac unit which did not have a roof so it kept us awake!

We enjoyed the hotel. It’s a nice property just a couple blocks off the main thoroughfare. The onsite restaurant is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room in the motel building. It was nice and clean but the bathroom was tiny.

I stayed in the motel which is a short distance from the main inn. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Grants is a great place for dinner. It is also an easy week to downtown Stowe. Highly recommend.

What a nice place to stay. Melinda went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She put us on the ground floor and made sure we had a microwave in our room. She helped us park close to the room. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was great! The shower was great with plenty of hot water. We would definitely stay here again.

We reserved a room that promised a “wonderful New England memory.” What we got was a room in a shabbily painted back area of the hotel. The outer area of the building needed paint and a paved road. The staff offered no help and acknowledged the room was misrepresented. The “blank stare” is the only help offered by the staff. We won’t be returning and I suggest you look at some other beautiful properties in the area. Just a bad attitude at the hotel.

This is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. As a Vermonter, I brought my cousin here who just loved it. It's already a great place to stay, but the staff puts it over the top, from the person at the desk to the wait staff to the bartender go above and beyond to help one out. I would highly recommend this inn to anybody.

Quick overnight stay for family birthday. Requested first floor if available as my husband has difficulty with stairs. We were well cared for and all staff members were both pleasant and very helpful. Would be very happy to return. Special thanks to Chris!

Hands down, one of the best values in Stowe. Catch the shuttle to the ski resort (or drive---it's right up the road), and walk to downtown area where parking can be tough. The Inn itself is a beautifully maintained historical property and is a great place to enjoy with a warm drink on a cold winter's night. The staff is super friendly and helpful

Great spot located a two minute walk to the main part of town. If you’re a skier it’s about ten minutes to the resort. Food was great at the onsite bar/restaurant. Kudos to Amanda at the front desk, excellent job in making you feel welcome and informed about the area.

Loved our stay at the The Stowe Village Inn. It's convenient to the town and a small drive up the road to some breweries. We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Grant's Restaurant at the Inn. David, our server was wonderful and the steaks my husband and I had were some of best we've ever had. The rooms were very nice, clean, and plenty of room. I would highly recommend booking your stay here.

We stayed for 3 days during our trip to New England to see the fall colours. The Inn is very well situated, on the edge of Stowe High Street.The rooms are modern and functional, with good shower pressure in the bathroom. We stayed in the main building, where there were also a couple of large lounges to use along with a range of good quality complimentary teas and coffees available all day. The staff were very helpful during our stay, and nothing was ever too much trouble - all requests were met with a smile. Unfortunately, there is no provision for breakfast so you have to go into the town, where there are very few options, and therefore huge waits for a table. It’s something Stowe really needs to look at as the same applies to restaurants in the evenings. Luckily, we had booked all ours, I would suggest you do the same if you venture there. Overall, I’m not sure I would opt to stay in Stowe again - our experience of the Fall colours was much better In Jackson, although Stowe was far more expensive.

Great room at the inn (not the motel). Very comfortable beds. Excellent coffee, large common area with games and puzzles. The firepit was a treat. Perfect location for a walk downtown. The restaurant looked amazing. Unfortunately we weren't able to go but it was busy and had nice outdoor seating.

Friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in the Momo for 2 nights. Room was very clean and modern. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Right in Stowe Village. Had dinner at the Inn's restaraunt, Grant's, food and service were excellent. We plan on coming back!
