Quality Inn & Suites Federal Way - Seattle

The hot tub was in disrepair; the tv in room had a shattered screen and was unwatchable. The bathroom sink did not drain. When reported to front desk no action was taken and was told maintenance could look at it in the morning. Did not help us as that is when we were checking out. Retold the morning shift of problems upon check out and was met with silence and a blank stare. Never again.

Booked the hotel specifically for the hot tub and pool. When we arrived the hot tub was closed. The pool was sooo cold we couldn't even swim.

The staff were nice and they kept the hotel clean, but the pool was ice cold and the workout room was a joke. There was only one ice machine that worked, and that was on the first floor. The TV was a small screen.

Pool in terrible condition and nothing in the fitness area worked or turned on.

Actually it was great. Unfortunately, the pool was in renovation otherwise it would be perfect.

This was a great property. Pool was cold but refreshing. Would have liked more choices for breakfast we stayed 11 days. But it nice.

Untrustworthy elevator, advertises hot tub and hasn’t worked in 3 years. No phones in the rooms work. Only one luggage cart for the entire facility. Breakfast items ran out before it was over. Coffee maker in room but no coffee. Toilet seat extremely loose. The price of a room, larger tv should be available with how inexpensive they are nowadays.

We picked this place because it had a pool for our kids to swim in and it had a hot tub but it was out of service. It seemed like every time we stayed here it was out of service.

The hot tub has been out of order for the years. We were there for USMS national championships and needed a hot tub each day after competition that is why we picked this hotel. The staff said it's posted on their web site. I'm not sure if that's true but it wasn't on expedia.

I booked this room after confirming the pool and hot tub would be in use. Upon arrival, I was told they were not. This was highly disappointing as my sister needed the heat to relieve hip joint pain. Kimberly, the night staff was VERY helpful. She researched and brought us options within the area to use a hot tub (What a Sweetie!!) The morning staff, MacKenzie, is the reason I am writing this review. She was more than kind, welcoming, cheerful, and helpful, I needed toothbrushing supplies, she proved complimentary brush & paste. I had blood, she did all but doctor me up, showing genuine concern and getting me band-aids, etc. The place looked great, clean, up to date, the bed was dreamy. You can't miss if you stay here. The breakfast was OK (Kenai, AK's Chef Mike can teach a thing or 2) with cereal, B&G, and apple juice and coffee. The cherry?? Of course, the hot tub, which I did not get to try but I understand is undergoing a major renovation so it will be ready for me when I return. Hope to see you there!!

During our stay, first there was random hairs all over the beds, the bathroom ceiling had dead ants all over it, there was a flea, burnt used matches on the floor of the bathroom, and there were Cockroaches in the room. I didnt get any sleep because all i thought of was bugs. The mattresses had pee stains. We stripped the beds to spray lysol on the beds before we'd sleep on them. The bathroom tub in our room didnt drain very well so the tub started filling with water as i tried to shower. Stink bugs are bad all over, but man they were all over the door frame. The front desk staff was nice, but thats all they have going for them. We will find other accomodations next time. The deposit really needs to be disclosed of better, also, because that was a total surprise to us when we arrived. This review will not allow me to add photos but i do have them. The vending machine stole money and didnt give the product. The hot tub doesnt work, and a couple if the kids got scrapes on the bottom of their feet from the pool, its rough and jagged.

Thursday night we checked in late around 9pm after an 11hr drive. The carpet floor felt disgusting. The beds are not comfortable. The next morning noticed the room was disgustingly dirty. The sink had noticeable gunk around the rink, the floor had crumbs all over. I have a 11-month toddler who crawls all over. Her feet and legs got dirty black just from crawling around. We requested a room change. Got switched to a new room which was much cleaner and smelled fresh. In the evening before bed, a cockroach was felt on my husband’s leg. Found it crawling under the bed. captured it on video. The outside tile of the tub was sinking in. Stepping out the shower you could feel the soft spot and the unevenness. The customer service from 2/3 of the front office staff were unpleasant, lacked customer service skills/ simple communication. Unpleasant stay overall. Will avoid this hotel chain in the future.

Extremely courteous staff. The room was spotless. Tasty breakfast. Nice pool. I was there for a week, so the guest laundry came in handy.

Disgusting 20 long black hairs in bathtub along with some kind of mung and ants crawling around in bath tub. could not shower in the morning. Freakin GROSS!

The Bathroom was not clean. There was still soap left from the people before us in the tub pretty gross. Never seen that and all the years I’ve been staying in hotels. I should’ve demanded my money back, but I didn’t wanna deal with it

It covered the basics you'd expect, but I'd call it average. It gets the job done, but don't expect a gourmet experience. ​The one area that could really use some attention is the furniture. The furnishings in my room felt a bit dated and showed some wear and tear. An upgrade to more modern and fresh furniture would significantly elevate the overall experience and match the high quality of the service and cleanliness. ​In short, I'd recommend this hotel for its fantastic staff and clean environment. Just be prepared for a simple breakfast and slightly older room decor.

Over all hotel needs to improve cleanliness, carpet at the room looks old dirty, it Was a cockroach in the bathroom, no pleasant.

Although this is not a brand new property, it may as well be. Everything, including the flooring and walls, look clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, AC and curtains worked just right, and the shower was clean with plenty of flow on the shower head. The breakfast was very complete and nicely displayed.

Pros: Lots of nearby food, shopping, fun. Cons: Only 1 way in/out of the parking lot/location. If you try to drive to something that is across the street, you have to go all the way around. So much traffic. Parking lot is home to semi trucks and people loitering overnight. Cars windows were smashed into, and someone scribbled on my car with marker. We were only there for 1 night. Very old building and noisy. You can hear people above and below you. We stayed on floor 2 and it was noisy. You can hear people using the bathroom, whispering, and kids talking at normal volume. Only 1 person staffing the front desk, so there was a wait/line every time we walked by. We asked about getting change for quarters for the vending machines but we were told to go somewhere else. We ended up driving to Walmart to get snacks and incidentals. There are snack marts nearby too, but you would have to walk all the way around and through the random people standing outside in the parking lot. It's safer to get in the car and drive to a real store. The pool was disgusting, cold, and smelly. The jacuzzi was broken. Our room was not clean but I bought cleaning supplies and wiped everything down. I picked up the trash that was stuffed behind the sofa. The dishwasher was sealed shut and broken. We didnt use the microwave or the stove. Fridge was dirty. The walls had many dings and there was a lot of small damage everywhere. Would not stay there again.

Good value for the money. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was solid. Id stay here again.

Terrible stay. The staff were subpar. The jacuzzi was out of order, the pool extremely cold. The rooms out of date, extremely old and in need of renovation. The room door has a 1inch thick opening on the bottom. The bed was the worst of all, it’s a very very old spring bed. We could not sleep through the night. We kept waking up in pain and we couldn’t even stay the second night. We left at 2am. The rooms also have no sound proofing so we can hear the people in the hall, people outside, all the cars, everything. One of the worst stays we have ever had.

I lucked out! Kimberly at the front desk was very nice, personable, helpful and efficient at her job. Got checked in right away. No noise in hallways or rooms..I did hear someone snoring a little bit but stuck my ear plugs in and I was out like a light. I slept very well, had my coffee in the morning, shower and thought, I'm leaving this place a good review cause everything went so well. Thanks for a good night sleep.😴

The lady that was working the desk when we checked in was so kind and helpful! My air conditioner wasn't working and she came up to my room and got it going no questions asked, she treated me with respect even though we weren't able to get it going, took her less then 5 minutes to take care of it.

Very unprofessional won’t offer refunds and tried to blame me for the dirty room when it was their fault their vending machine sucks their breakfast was cold didn’t address any of the issues to take care of the room

This hotel was a great value! We were not sure what to expect at the lower price point, but the hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, the women at the front desk (Amy and Kimberly) were exceptionally helpful and the woman tending to the breakfast buffet was so nice!

The staff here at quality inn we're extremely rude and unfriendly. My boyfriend and I were in The breakfast room getting breakfast and the attendant in there was extremely rude so we ended up eating in our room

The hotel was an older building, a lot of homeless people in the neighborhood.

Pretty good "bang for the buck". The hot tub was down, and we didn't use the pool. Free breakfast was okay. Real central location, yet quiet. Ton of dining nearby, and a bowling alley and skating rink. With the hotel staff had taken a minute to highlight the local amenities. They seemed a bit occupied.

It was convenient for our stay the locations was perfect and quiet.

I dont appreciate the fact that my car was robbed during my 2nd night stay. The Motel host did not notify us this happens regularly. Our window was broke and my purse was stolen. I will never stay here again!!

Easy access to all amenities, central location, great staff and attentive

I went to this Quality Inn because it was close to the Aquatic Center. It was great. I came in and slept, went out to the meet and returned. They gave me extra coffee when I asked and left me alone. Perfect!

Awful. My cork truck was stolen from the parking lot. Similar properties have security. This property definitely needs it! Sketchy area indeed.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! And whatever you do don't pre-pay. Go to la quinta inn a mile down the road - you will thank me. Several cars including mine got broken into. Property theft. Zero help from the staff. They didnt even notify anyone that several cars were smashed into the next day and RIGHT infront of the main door on camera. What was the night shift doing? Day 2 my thumb got sliced open on the handicap bar in the shower and needed stitches. There was no first aid kit and every single sanitizer station in the building was empty. Day 3 the fire alarm went off at 1:17AM and we all froze outside for an hour. I chose this place because i was going through medical detox and it said it was safe quiet, secluded, and rated highly. There's about 45 chinese kids staying there long term for a work exchange program and they ran up and down the halls ALL day and ALL night. I overheard the front desk lady tell another customer she couldn't move her and told her to go knock on the door a few times and ask them to be quiet. Holy hell!

Morning breakfast a hit! Door to room 324 VERY hard to open. Had to push with shoulder. Older desk staff better than younger.

The hotel has a good value for money since also the rich buffet breakfast is included in the rates. Laundry is possible, including air dryers. Rooms are large and equipped with fridge and microwave. Staff is nice and helpful. Restaurants nearby, at walking distance. I will go again.

Overall terrible experience. Booked for the included breakfast and the hot tub. Got there and went to get towels from the front desk, where you are supposed to get the pool towels. My husband was told that everyone used the towels and we need to go back to our room to get those towels. But we only had two towels in the room for our family of three. So I went and asked what towels we could use for a shower after the pool, and she sighed extremely loud and rolled her eyes and went and got me a stack of towels. Then got to find out the hot tub was closed, and pool was absolutely freezing. Went down for breakfast at 9 and it looked inedible completely.

Hotel was thankfully quiet, but the cleanliness was not good. Old boogers on the wall above the bed, door handles looked dirty and walls in bathroom were filthy. Tub was dirty. Carpet felt very dirty compared to other hotels we have stayed in. It was fine for the price and location is great. Good place for sports teams to stay as its a discount hotel with breakfast. Breakfast was not fabulous but it had waffles/sausage/hashbrows/eggs/oatmeal daily

Affordable price, but breakfast was limited; no dishes etc. in room kitchen; staff was not friendly or helpful (for example, I asked for bedding for the sleep sofa and I was given a single flat sheet).

The staff was kind and efficient. The breakfast was often the same choices so for a few nights fine.
