Had issues with my pass opening my room door. Access doors to the hotel was propped open all day. No security.

Very noisy. Vending machines and ice machines out of order

**THIS PLACE IS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES** There is a sign taped to the door of the pool that says “Danger do not enter” and the door was taped off with packing tape. Not one ice maker worked. Online it says “tv with premium channels” we got 4 channels with shows on and over 37 (yes I stopped counting at 37) channels with Dish TV adds. The first room the A/C didn’t work, and the fridge did not work. We had no trash can in either room. We registered 4 guests and there were only 3 towels in the room and ZERO wash clothes. There was also no phone in the room. They did switch us rooms, so we were able to use the fridge and A/C. Still no phone or trash can in the 2nd room. We stayed 2 nights. When we left for the day on Saturday morning, we asked for more towels and wash rags so we could shower when we got back in the evening, when we got back, no towels were delivered into the room. I talked to the front desk clerk, and he explained that they would refund part of our stay for all the inconveniences, still nothing has been refunded. The property was VERY unkept. We opened the curtain and all the grass looked like it hadn’t been mowed in quite a while. There was rotting plywood up against the building. And a riding mower that looked like it broke down last year and they just left it in the yard. Grass was taller than the riding mower. The lighting in the room was very dim. It just looked “dingy”. And that was with all 3 lights in the room on.

All the door locks to the outside were broken. Ice machine was broken. Pool was down.

The pool and weight room was closed. The rooms were old and musty. Housekeeping only cleans your room if your present in the room. No ice machines at all. Smell of marijuana everywhere. You must pay in full up front. Breakfast is a joke. No working elevator. Terrible, absolutely terrible.

The property was falling apart. Dirt dripping down the walls, stains and holes everywhere, the pool was "drained and closed for the season" but that was never disclosed in their advertising on their website or the booking site, and they didn't even notify us when we were checking in, the "free continental breakfast" was a complete joke. Nothing available but an expired cartoon of milk, a couple packages of old muffins, no batter for the waffle makers, no other drinks, just nothing available, breakfast was stated to be available from 7 am to 9 am and there was nothing available at all during that time, they required a security deposit on top of the actual payment that was not listed on the booking site, their website, or my reciept... So I don't think I'll even get that back like I should. I SHOULD be getting a FULL REFUND. Only gave 2 thin pillows for a king bed and thin sheets, the heater in the room looked like it would or has caught fire, no exhaust in the bathroom, so there was mold growing in the bathroom too ... this place was ridiculous and should be SHUT DOWN!!! On the other side of the fence behind where we had to park was a camp of unhoused individuals. Do not stay here.

Pool out of order, exercise room out of order, I don't think there was actually a breakfast. These are all advertised. My room had broken furniture, the mattress was lumpy and was not as big as the box spring. Tub did not drain well.

The entire building is digusting. Even in the lobby is smells of cigarette and weed smoke and just hovering dirty smell. All the amenities advertised are broken/out of service. The pool, the gym area, giest laundry room. The rooms themselves are equally disheveled. My first room had a completly broken A/c unit, disgusting carpet, 1 of the lamps barely worked, 4 of the outlets were damaged; with even one behind the bed having some metal jammed inside the outlet, the dresser was damaged and missing 6/7 of its drawers. On top of that the whole just stunk of a slight body odor smell. The only thing ok was the bedding and the towels. I asked to leave early so the man at the desk moved me to a second room on the 2nd floor, it wasnt better. Carpet still just as dirty and stinking, hallway stinking just the same, A/C just as broken apart, dresser still damaged and falling apart, but this time it had a massive liquid stain. The chair paired with the table in this new room was dirty, tattered, and stained. Not even the bedding was completely clean in this room. There was a stain in the corner of the sheet and somekind of fluid stain on one of the pillowcases. Overall this hotel is not cared for at all.

We checked in at the front desk. Smell was overwhelming. We were in the room for about 4 minutes. Food, crumbs, cut up pills on the floor. Stains on the walls. Bugs behind the nightstand. Clumps of hair and garbage between the mattresses and box spring. We immediately asked for a refund and left. Environment completely unsafe.

Dirty, flies everywhere.

This property has obviously been neglected for quite some time. The lobby area was dirty, the hallways were stained and filth, and the room was even worse. The carpet was stained and filthy and gritty, cigarette burns in covers, blood droplets on sheets, mold on shower walls and under tub mat, no mattress protectors on the beds, lots of damage and dirt smears on the walls. People lounging in stairwells and shady people circling the parking lot. $154/night for a “luxury room” that was in this condition, absolutely horrible, only the second time in 40 years I’ve left a hotel. I was so upset to find I drove 4 hours for a belated birthday trip to arrive to this! We immediate checked out and found another hotel! Will never be back, place should be shut down! Filed a complaint with pictures with Travelocity, who I booked thru!

This was the worse hotel stay of my life. The conditions were extremely unsanitary and unsafe. The water was turned off for two days. When it came back in the water was yellow. There were roaches, gnats and other pests. Exterior doors were left open at all times allowing unauthorized guest to have access to the building. There was trash everywhere. The amenities that were advertised were all out of order. There is no pool, conference room, laundry facility, or workout room.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in, dirty, bloody towel on yhe bathroom floor, tub had a black film in it, stay away

The room was dirty and unclean. Shower curtain stained with blood. Reported the issue to the staff but nothing was done.

The hotel was absolutely disgusting and dirty. It wreaked of marijuana and cigarettes. The hallways were gross. The walls were smeared with random things. The staff was nice and understanding when we decided to go to a different hotel

Actually disgusting. Sheets were not clean and there were visible stains. Left over pubes in the beds. Old cigarettes burn holes in the duvet. The entire building smelled like cigarettes and dirty underwear. I had to sleep on a towel to avoid catching critters. Someone left their period on the floor.

These rooms do not look like the online photographs. Our room was dirty. Most of the lights didn’t work. They were stains all over the beds, smells, sketchy place etc. We asked for a different clean room and the next room they took us to was so hot and the air wouldn’t work and wasn’t much cleaner. We left in disgust asking for a refund. He said he couldn’t give one at that time. We went over to comfort in and suites and got a different room. Please refund us for the misrepresentations of the first hotel or direct us how to do so.

One room had the toilet clogged up and no fridge. Cracks in walls everywhere. Mold in both rooms. Inside door locks were broken or missing. Found a spider in the bathroom of one room. 2 lights out in one bathroom. Busted outlets. Walls were in terrible need of repair. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Lots of cobwebs. Worst hotel we have ever stayed in anywhere.

It was decently clean, but in disrepair. There was no A/C in the common areas, there were very few breakfast options. Our room smelled terrible and had a rusty microwave, missing hardware on the cabinets, fixtures falling off in the shower, no shelves in the mini fridge, and no trash can.

For starters had to put key card in slot 3 or 4 times before it opened and that's every time I went into the room. The floor was very wet in the carpet, you couldn't walk barefoot, had to ask for pillow and towels and rags.

The toilet ran constantly and the shower head in the tub was broken

Overall okay except that TV remote didn’t work at all even after it was replaced.

our first room had a broken shower and the second room had broken AC. eventually we settled in another room, but the room/hotel itself was dingy and felt dirty. it smelled awful in the hallways — like smoke, alcohol and urine. we didn’t have any towels, and the ones we were given ended up having curly hairs in them — so i’m not convinced they were actually clean. we were given three pillows in total and they never brought more when we asked. the sheets had cigarette burn holes in them. the carpet in the room was so dirty it turned the bottoms of our feet black, and the water in the bathroom smelled awful. the surfaces haven’t been wiped or anything, and the tables and tv stand were held together with tape. luckily we only needed to sleep one night here, but we won’t be back.

I checked in got my key to my room had to walk up a bunch of stairs and got lost trying to find my room got in room it was extremely hot and dirty floors are stained air conditioner barely work doors are very unsafe loose screws in doors not very safe feeling had to make sure doors deadbolt actually locked not dependable on making sure we had everything we needed will not come back

DO NOT STAY HERE! Entering the building there is a strange odor that is present throughout the facility. The hallways have visible damage and stains all over the walls and carpet. Inside my personal room: the safety lock on the door was removed, the safety rails in the shower were broken off, none of the surfaces were clean as there was crumbs and liquids still present. The final straw was half of the room was flooded with sopping wet carpet due to a broken AC unit. When I went to complain at the front desk, there were no other rooms available. The only pleasant part of the experience was they did grant me a refund.

Took a while for someone to come to the counter...than proceeded to tell me he gave our room away with out checking booking thankfully after a few minutes he actually checked booking and found our room thankfully but then we get to the room and it was dirty still had ice cream melted in the fridge looked like it hasn't been vacuum in like 2 weeks would only stay again if i had no other option

They said they are overbooked, and they did not have empty room, actually they ruined my weekend and my trip, and really this is the worst experience ever with hotels, the it even worse there was no vaccant room in Columbus on the 21st,terrible experience, just credit my money back.

Well, it looked like a nice enough hotel, but when I gave them my name at the front desk, they said they couldn't find me, and that all their rooms were already reserved. I had to contact Expedia's digital agent to resend my confirmation code so that I could get the room I reserved. The walls weren't very thick so I could hear voices outside the room so I didn't feel entirely safe. I heard someone in the next room arguing the next morning before 5 which didn't help, other than getting me to start my day quickly. The breakfast room looked as though it was going to have a wide variety, and I don't know if it's because of a staff shortage but the options were pitiful

The hotel was overbooked and even though we reserved a room 3 days in advance and paid, when we arrived we found that the hotel had been overbooked and no rooms were available. 11 people waiting in line for a room were sent away , even though they reserved a room and paid in advance. Also the common bathroom had one stall that was out of order and one that wouldn't flush, and no toilet paper

This hotel is fairly old and worn. When you book a room with so many negative reviews, your expectations should not be 5 star. The staff at checkin were fighting against computer issues and were kind and courteous during the process. The breakfast was interesting - take some of the money you saved and run to Wendy's. Overall this vintage hotel needs some love. Please don't take your frustrations out on the staff. They are doing the best they can.

This was the worst experience I ever had. When I arrived to check in there was about 3 other guests that where waiting in line to check in as well. We were all told that it was overbooked and might have to wait to see if any room could be available. It took about 30 minutes to get me a room only because 4 other guests that did stay told the front desk they didn't feel safe and wanted to cancel. One guest key card didn't work so then immediately they gave it to me. The key didn't work and as I was walking through the hallway the atmosphere just didn't feel right. I told the front desk that I didn't feel safe and I'm going to cancel. I asked who I should talk to about getting a refund and they said to go through hotels.com. Hotels.com did everything they could buy the property manager (after a week ) said nothing could be down. Do not do not book here!!!!

My only problems were the outside doors couldn’t be opened from the outside. You had to walk all the way around to the front and enter. Plus I waited 2 days for clean towels

Horrible. Place needs to be shutdown. The only good thing about it was the guy behind the counter. He gave me a refund without being an issue. The lobby smells of mold and mildew. The room smelt of urine and meth. There was an active drug deal happening in the room next to mine. The lock was busted off the door. The door between the conjoined rooms was “secured” with a dollar store chain lock, tape and wishful thinking. Bathroom was gross, beds were gross. It was all gross. Bugs, all kinds. It’s great place to stay if you’re looking to bring home roaches or hepatitis.

Ironic you ask me to review this property when we didn’t even stay!! Regardless of having a confirmed booking and reservation it didn’t matter because they were only taking people who prepaid for the room. Little did they not tell you until you arrived, waited in line, and then were turned away! Extremely unhappy and left my sister and I with no place to stay, stranded.

Showed up a little early and had an event that night. Was not able to get early check in and told the desk clerk I would be checking in late. Was given a parking pass and told that was fine. When I came back later they had given my room to someone else. Horrible expierience and very rude and unhelpful staff.

Good location just off the interstate and the staff was nice

The price was good but the area was surrounding the hotel was questionable. I would not return here in the future. I booked 2 rooms with queen beds and received full size beds instead.

This property has new owners who just acquired it within the last month. I’m confident that there will be many changes and improvements ahead. The location right off I-71 is convenient. I would stay here in the future should my travels are nearby. Thank you.

Homeless everywhere. U can’t even get to your room

This is a gross neighborhood and this hotel has a fair number of “long term” renters. Did not feel safe. Lot of people wandering the halls. Very transient vibe. Do not recommend.

Wasn’t what the pictures look like. Said hot tub in the room but was a jacuzzi tub. The shower didn’t work but 1 little stream. The bed was uncomfortable and the tv was small. Surrounding area around the hotel is rough and crowded. People nodded out in there car and felt unsafe. Would not recommend unless you just don’t have the money to do anything else.

The area was sketchy & did we not feel safe! I was asked for a copy of my license and need to put a parking pass in my truck...this is NOT normal unless you're in a bad area! When I asked which entrance I should park by to be close to my room I was informed all the doors were broken! Huge safety issue! The hallways were Creepy! Stained, smelly carpet, holes in walls, a broken bed, each section closed by a door that made you feel like you were walking through an old hospital turned insane asylum. Entering the room all you could smell was urine! The floor looked like it had never seen a vacuum with stains and hairballs! Things were broken and holes in the walls! THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE ON EXPEDIA! Shame on you for advertising it and putting customers in danger and filth!

No issues, property is dated and so are the rooms, had a minor hole in the wall in my room, but overall for a quick stay you can’t really beat this place for the price. Convenient location, friendly staff, the room was clean enough for me. No real issues, I’ve stayed before and will stay again.

The hotel was surrounded by homeless begging for money. Lobby was filled with people using drugs and passed out on couches.

Do not believe the photos that you see online. The dining room had a couple pieces of bread, some milk and fruit loops. We had to go elsewhere to eat. Didn't even bother to complain because I know it would have fallen upon deaf ears. The hotel reeked of smoke in the lobby. I needed a second set of towel/wash cloth and was told to return at 9 in the morning. I am sorry that the management advertises with deceitful photos.

Bathroom ceiling was caving in, sink was installed crooked. No towels were in the room. Pillows were terrible. Hallways were dingy and dirty.. Breakfast stuff was broken. Massive hole in parking lot fence that with car tracks going off into an empty lot. This place is a dump.

Breakfast was only from 7:30-8:30. Refrigerator in breakfast area was warm, and milk inside was warm. There was cereal, but couldn’t eat it with with milk. Waffle machine was broken. Some packaged breakfast pastries. Signs indicated that there would be ‘consequences’ if any food left the area. In the room, the refrigerator was broken, as was the cabinet door where the refrigerator was stored. Ice machine was broken as well. Beds were comfortable and appeared clean. Would not recommend or stay here again.

I waited a few days to post this review so I could calm down a bit. WOW WORST PLACE EVER. Seriously this place should not be on Hotels.com I will make the list short.Broken TV, Stains on Carpet, Bathroom looked like it was never cleaned, Mold on walls But the worst part was the Breakfast. OMG NO COFFEE and the food was a toaster with bread and stale cereal plus some packaged snack cakes

Breakfast options where laughable. 5 slices of bread, half empty container of fruit loops and a waffle maker that was out of mix. specifically choose one with breakfast and we still ended up leaving to eat somewhere else. room was pretty lackluster. room was very cold and when the heater kicked on it was almost unbearably hot

The room provided was not clean at all and when one was provided, it had a horrible smell. The landscaping needed attention badly, the furniture was torn/old and the carpet was dirty. There were old, dirty chairs near the fence where it appears homeless folk may have been. It was not a pleasant first impression. The desk clerk was nice and helpful. Although breakfast was supposed to be included, none was available anytime during the stay. The desk person said sometimes the food deliveries don't come.

Toilet wasn't work, the carpets was so duty that when you were walking you can heard that was so stiky. NO BREAKFAST even when we selected the hotel it shows as a freakfast it was no breakfast at all just coffee

The place smelled, the sheets had holes in them and the continental breakfast was not what was expected.
