Served it's purpose. Clean, comfortable, close to venue. A little disappointed with pool. Says indoor, but most doorways were open and it was in 40's at night. Plus was locked up. Expected a little more from breakfast, but was ok.

Booked hotel for indoor pool, but the pool was closed. Not just under repair but closed for the season. False advertising. Advertised a full hot breakfast. It was waffles and the rest was continental. Bit deceiving as most that advertise hot breakfast have a breakfast bar.

They were in the process of remodeling/upgrading so i know that it should improve as it does need the upgrade. The staff was pleasant enough. However, it states that there is a heated indoor pool on the site and on a big sign at entrance. I asked then to take padlock off pool enclosure and they said they would but never came. I chose this particular hotel mainly for that feature. So major dissapointment.

The check in was painless and quick. The hotel employee, Scott, was very personable and helpful. Room access was good. I cannot do stairs. No elevators. They changed my room to ground floor.

Really liked the entertainment/pool area. However, the place is need of a major upgrade. The carpets are old and faded in the lobby. The room (non-smoking) smelled like cigarettes. And while it was clean, and the bedding fresh, the furniture was old, outdated, and awkward for the room size. There was a small pile of long, black hair outside our door & more of it in the corners of the bathroom. I worked as a hotel mgr for Days Inn and one of the few things heavily drilled into us was ‘if there’s hair found in the room (especially in the bathroom), people will automatically associate it with being dirty!’

There were many things wrong with this place. First we had to pay a surprise $200 deposit because we love within 100 miles of the hotel. The indoor "heated pool" is only open certain hours and is in no way heated, it was freezing. The breakfast area is upstairs and someone with a disability can\'t go up there. The hotel across the parking lot has people fighting over drugs every night. The last day we were there, I took a picture of a cockroach crawling up the door. When I brought it to the mans attention, he tried to accuse me of smoking in the room which never happened. Stay very far away from this place.

Our room was somewhat clean then we realized we had a adjoining room and the people in there were loud as if they were in our room and when I went to the office to complain after being woke up for the 3rd time the staff told me “ well I’ll see if I can get ahold of someone “ to no avail then my wife goes to get in the shower and there was a roach. This place was the worst part of our trip

Very disappointed in this hotel. Our room had a bad, sour smell. The air conditioner took forever to cool down the room. The tv kept switching to “no signal” in the middle of a show. This happened at least 3 times in 1 evening. We also saw small cockroaches in the sink and the shower. However, the beds were very comfortable, decent water pressure, the fridge (even though it’s extremely small) worked great, and the microwave worked well.

Not enough power sockets on the walls where the beds are placed. Needed a socket for a breathing machine but none were available. The desk lights all have multiple sockets but that is not where they're needed. I asked the desk manager for an extension cord but they could not or would not give me one.

Cozy room. Clean, well apointed. The parking lot is lit up like daytime all night. Good for security, bad for sleeping. A darker window treatment would be appreciated. Also, a chair and small table in the room would be handy for eating or using my laptop. The free breakfast was quite good. Not fancy, but there was a good variety.

We came back to our room about midnight after the Eagles concert. A dog kept barking all night, and kids were running upstairs above us until about 2AM. Our room was near the swimming pool so pretty noisy all the time. Hotel staff very friendly, the room was nice, but had issues sleeping with the outside distractions.

The staff was great. Friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaner. The bed was comfortable but the couch in the room was worn. The hand towels were a bit dingy. The shower was not for anyone over 5'6". We stayed for one night, and overall it was a decent stay.

When arrived, they had the unload awning blocked with cones, while it was raining. There was no visible work done or cleaning (in the rain?). The clerk spoke very broken English, which is fine, when you're not dealing with front facing customers. The lobby has a potpourri scent on level 10, almost too strong to handle. After getting checked in, I go to my car in the rain with a luggage cart, get back to hotel, ask where the elevator was, to be told there wasn't one. I asked to be switched to a bottom floor due to being alone with roughly 6 bags to bring in (for work), and was met with a very disgruntled resistance. I'm not the nicest with confrontation, so I said never mind. Once I got to my room, which smelled of smoke, they had it set to a 78* which I went to turn down the ac...only to discover the buttons are so damaged you have to finagle very hard to work. Told the desk clerk, rebelled switching rooms again, and he'll send maintence. 20 mins goes by, I have to back down again due to no one showing up. No issues during the stay as I wasn't in the room much outside of having 4 tv channels that barely worked, and no outlets for charges anywhere near the bed. The room phone had no cable to call the desk if needed. Bathroom was clean lol. Finally, on check out, my key cards stopped working at 10:50am (check out 11), and went to desk (new clerk), who pretty much grilled me with attitude on WHY the cards stopped working, almost as if I did something to them.

We have stayed at many Baymont motels elsewhere with no problems. This one was the exception. Rented 2 rooms and had 1 pet to stay in 1 room. At check-in got receipt for 2 room charges & no pet fee included. 1 room had mold in bathroom and sink did not drain. At checkout I saw a sign on counter that said $50 refundable deposit assessed for each room. This was not mentioned when I checked in & not included on receipt. After getting home, bank account showed 2 deductions of $50 in addition to room charges. I sent message to hotel and asked why I didn't get receipt for the 2 deposits. I also reminded them I wasn't charged for the pet fee. I later got one $50 refund and a $25 pet fee charge. I reminded them that I still needed a 2nd $50 refund. I then got a $25 refund and was told the account was settled because the other $25 was a pet fee for the 2nd room. I'm waiting to hear back and find out why I'm charged pet fee for 2 rooms for 1 pet.

Check in to check out was horrendous. We live literally 99miles from the hotel. The hotel has a policy that you have to pay a $200 cash deposit if you don't live at least 100miles away and we couldn't round that up 1 mile! This policy was not advertised until you get to the front desk so luckily we had the cash on us. When i went to get it back, the 1st person wrote the wrong room number on my hand written reciept so that was a process to get my money back. To get into the pool you had to ho to the front desk and get them to unlock the gate. Is it not safe or what would be the reasoning for this? The room only had 2 towels and 2 wash cloths and we had 4 people staying. Went to the front desk to ask for our other 2 and they acted like we were trying to pull one over on them and finally they went and got them. The room and the linens smelt like cigarette smoke. The shower is the worst shower i have ever taken. Not sure if it was the shower head or water pressure itself, but they offered that was the best it got. Great prices, but there was definitely a reason for that.

The breakfast was nothing fancy but Percy (the employee manning the breakfast) was the best! He was so friendly and helpful, pouring coffee for people even though that’s not really part of his job. He was helpful and friendly with the kids. He brightened my day! The man at check-in was also very friendly!

I needed to stay one night somewhere close to my work bc I had car trouble, and Baymont North at I-75 is practically next door. Everything was great, especially for the price, but there was just one issue: The front desk clerk told me that anyone living within a 100-mile radius is required to put down a $200 cash deposit, but your app says it’s $100. I realize that’s the fault of the property, not hotels.com, but it should be updated immediately. I have no clue as to the reason for this arcane policy, but while $100 is a lot of money, especially these days, $200 is insane! Plus, although they did give me a receipt for the $200, I envisioned having a hard time the next morning getting it back without a lot of rigamarole. Luckily, there was no problem with that at all, but I do find the policy curious.

First off the guy that was checking me in was not nice at all. Very rude. Then we find the room go in the room go to bathroom and right there in front of me was a live cockroach. Called the guy at the desk and all he could say was therewas 5 people ahead of me so he didnt have time. Never heard from him again.

The hotel was “ok”. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked as well as there was hot water for the shower. But they did not clean our room one day. Really no big deal until they argued with me that it was my fault for some reason and were rude to my roommate. The other thing that you should know , and it’s not the hotel’s fault but…. there’s NOTHING around the hotel. There’s a gas station you can get snacks at and drinks but that’s it. The pool is indoors in a dingy environment. Not “inviting” at all… it certainly wasn’t worth the money they charged.

Pool location was great but there was a lot of construction material around the pool. Hotel needs to be updated. The security doors were left open all night. Lobby area was attractive. Very convenient to I-75 while traveling to FL from OH.

A couple in front of me was denied allowing their pets to stay after they called to verify. There were roaches in the front lobby and in my room. The breakfast was a joke. The shower curtain in my room had drywall mud, paint and/or blood on it. The sheets had holes and the pillows were small and uncomfortable.

The room was comfortable and clean except for the curtains over the air unit. They were really dirty, breakfast was very meager, no protein options. Cleaning staff apparently do not speak English, They did not understand anything I. said . But the bed was comfortable and room was freshly painted and otherwise decent value for the money. Quiet location.

The rooms looked great. The bed was nice. Problem is breakfast was basic with no eggs, sausage/bacon, and was pretty scarce the last 30 mins. The staff was great a friendly. The other Problem was a had a roach g he 1st day on my table near my bed. Told the front desk that morning, and didn't see another till the day i left after i took my shower and one was in my dirty towels. Was not happy about that.
