Our first room had clean sheets but the comforter had numerous hairs and was clearly dirty. The staff kindly moved us to a neighboring room. It was much better minus the lack of shampoo, near empty toilet paper roll/no reserve roll, and two towels. The exercise room reeked of mildew, there was mold on the equipment, and the equipment was in poor/unusable condition. The bathroom neighboring the breakfast area had only hand sanitizer, no soap. We were in town for a soccer tournament and needed to wash uniforms…there was a drier but no washing machine. It was a long weekend.

Perfect stay! Staff friendly and helpful. Location was good, parking space was great, no trouble at all. I had read some reviews with comments about no ice machine (or not working) but it was this time the ice was really good shaped and clean, and there was a lot, the machine looked brand new, another said there was no hot water but in my case it was perfectly hot, and also I read one saying the orange juice machine was not working but again it was working. The facilities were recently renovated, room was big and spacious, a little too big for me (more than 10 feet between the beds and the TV). Breakfast was okay, I just need coffee and a beagle (but also there was muffins, bread, yogurt), if you want something more like eggs, fruit, sausages or waffles, you can stay somewhere else. But c'mon! I bet you dont have that at home either, and if you think you're on vacations and paying for it, you can pay 50-100 bucks more and stay at a higher level place or go to a Restaurant. Be reasonable. This was my first staying at a Spark hotel, I will definitely stay again here or any other Spark. I even went to the hotel website and searched where else it is. Most of them cooming soon, and I can't wait.

When we got there to check in, they told us the payment from you was declined and told us we had to call you to straighten it out. Even when I showed them the receipt, they told me it was my responsibility to call and fix it. While trying, the next guest checking in was told the same thing. After we both started talking, the receptionist said she would fix it and we just needed to pay the $25 incidental charge. She was young and not very courteous….seemed to enjoy arguing with customers. Once we got to our room, there was no remote to the television and a lot of channels did not work once we did get a remote. There was no pool as advertised on the website, never found the ice machine, and the breakfast the next morning was very poor. Couldn’t even get a cup of regular coffee. The room, however, was very clean and large….very comfortable. Only person who seemed to take pride in working there was the housekeeping workers. Lots of false advertisement listed in their amenities. Location is good though. Overall, would not stay here again and would not recommend anyone to stay either.

I booked this hotel because it said online that had a pool and it definitely did not. There is one microwave for the whole facility and not a single dresser or drawer to put clothing in. A water bottle is $5 at the front desk because they don't have a vending machine, plus my toilet was stopped up one night,unable to find a plunger, Shakia tried to move me to a single room from my double and I asked if it'd only be for the evening since I needed my double and she said I don't know, and acted like I was bothering her, however, Monique at the front made my entire stay!!!

Gave this place a second chance. This hotel is good with the potential to be great. Love the location and the fair rate. Rooms are large and bedding is comfortable. However, I find the incidental fee to be an inconvenience fee. Realistically, if there were damages it would likely exceed the fee anyway. Just reserve the right to charge the card on file in case of damages and forego the incidental fee. Also, the only ice machine is on the 1st floor and there is no in room coffee maker. The fridge barely chills. A pool is advertised but there is none. What they call “breakfast” is just bagels, muffins, and orange juice. So much potential here.

Very good room spacious and good beds comfortable good air condition easy parking; breakfast very poor almost nothing there that’s warm. Staff is nice but not cleaned every night. Small elevator. I am pretty sure I could smell the sweat and body odor of someone who slept there before me either in the sheets or soaked through the mattress and pillows. I expect more from a Hilton. If this was a $25-$50 motel, I’d have been more forgiving of this.

This place was absolutely disgusting. My room was poorly cleaned, bathroom, floors and nightstand dirty. This hotel is poorly maintained, needs a remodel. Service at check in was nice, the guy was very friendly. Not the case when I checked out, the lady didn't even ask me... how was my stay. Do not stay here

All the front desk people were awesome. My room not so much. We stayed in room 338. No toliet paper, no shower curtain and not enough towel were given. The bedding was dirty and need to be updated.

Drove all night and got to hotel an hour before check in and even though the hotel was empty I was charged an early arrival fee. (Never paid one ever) since it was freezing outside, I paid it because I was exhausted. Go upstairs to take a shower and no hot water. Manager acted like I didn’t know how to turn the knob to hot. I’ll never stay there again.

The room thermostat on the wall did not control the A/C. We set it on heat, but the a/c blew cold all night. Didn’t discover until morning that the window unit itself controlled the temp. One pane of the window was broken and closed off with tape. Saw large roaches in the hallway.

The property needs some cleaning up. Gross old mattress in the storage building with no door on it. When walking the hall I noticed there were a lot of doors that had gaps in them, and you could see straight into the rooms. My room also had a gap in the door. That could easily be fixed with peel and stick weatherstripping from Lowe’s. The room itself was clean. Soundproofing needs some work. We literally heard banging all night long.

It’s wintertime and I like some heat..I told receptionist the heater was broken and room very cold. She said the maintenance guys are gone for the day. I asked for another room, she said they’re sold out. I’d like a refund but no response from Hotels.com

Checked in when we got to the room towels were wet and all over bathroom they changed our rooms after about an hour debate when we got to the second room Water didn’t work we asked someone to come check maintenance never came stopped by the front office and told them still nothing we stayed multiple times and never had these kinda of problem but this time it was horrible

We arrived around 1am to the property and the young lady with red hair (Im so sorry I cant remember her name) was extremely nice, caring, and just overall made the stay 1000% better. When we checked in the first room they offered us had the ac broken. I reported it to her she ran back downstairs got us situated in another room and took us back up the new keys before we even finished packing back up. Hotel room was well worth the money and that girl alone made the whole trip worth it. Will definitely stay there again!

Nice clean property at a fair price. Room was big and bed comfy. Only complaint is that there were no cups or ice bucket in the room. There was a small fridge though. Conveniently located if you have to attend functions at UL, Lafayette General, Oil Center. Good restaurants in that area as well.

Room was very spacious and clean. Excellent price with simple breakfast (coffee and bagels included). Lady at front desk was helpful and nice to talk to. Water was not warm enough to shower but not as hot as I would like it to be. Other than that I would recommend it 😊

Perfect stay! Staff friendly and helpful. Location was good, parking space was great, no trouble at all. I had read some reviews with comments about no ice machine (or not working) but it was this time the ice was really good shaped and clean, and there was a lot, the machine looked brand new, another said there was no hot water but in my case it was perfectly hot, and also I read one saying the orange juice machine was not working but again it was working. The facilities were recently renovated, room was big and spacious, a little too big for me (more than 10 feet between the beds and the TV). Breakfast was okay, I just need coffee and a beagle (but also there was muffins, bread, yogurt), if you want something more like eggs, fruit, sausages or waffles, you can stay somewhere else. But c'mon! I bet you dont have that at home either, and if you think you're on vacations and paying for it, you can pay 50-100 bucks more and stay at a higher level place or go to a Restaurant. Be reasonable. This was my first staying at a Spark hotel, I will definitely stay again here or any other Spark. I even went to the hotel website and searched where else it is. Most of them cooming soon, and I can't wait.

Considering that I was coming in from my brother's funeral. All i wanted was a hot shower and relax. Nope not it. Water was cold moved rooms cool. Water was still cold decided to stay because I used my last because of an unexpected death. Get woken up at 930am from housekeeping. Thought checkout was 12pm as stated on the website nope. Called at 1054am. Breakfast was a joke a bagle and muffin. When we travel this way again in may will make sure i stay clear of this hotel!

When we got there to check in, they told us the payment from you was declined and told us we had to call you to straighten it out. Even when I showed them the receipt, they told me it was my responsibility to call and fix it. While trying, the next guest checking in was told the same thing. After we both started talking, the receptionist said she would fix it and we just needed to pay the $25 incidental charge. She was young and not very courteous….seemed to enjoy arguing with customers. Once we got to our room, there was no remote to the television and a lot of channels did not work once we did get a remote. There was no pool as advertised on the website, never found the ice machine, and the breakfast the next morning was very poor. Couldn’t even get a cup of regular coffee. The room, however, was very clean and large….very comfortable. Only person who seemed to take pride in working there was the housekeeping workers. Lots of false advertisement listed in their amenities. Location is good though. Overall, would not stay here again and would not recommend anyone to stay either.

Very good room spacious and good beds comfortable good air condition easy parking; breakfast very poor almost nothing there that’s warm. Staff is nice but not cleaned every night. Small elevator. The cold water in shower doesn’t run and a bit small bathroom but again overall very good amenities for the price. Very close to Cajundome and nice breakfast places

The hotel was wonderful and clean and the rooms are so nice and very spacious. Our only complaint is that the lady at the front desk was not very friendly & did not like to be bothered with a question. Otherwise we had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

There was not enough breakfast option such as bacon, scrambled eggs, grits or waffles makers. Also the young receptionist at the desk checked me out my room without my permission because she saw me putting my bags in my car. It was after 10:30am and there check out time is not until 12pm.
