Columbus Grand Hotel & Banquet Center

Look, it gets the job done. It was a bed to sleep in that was cheaper than anywhere else in Columbus during a music festival. Was it shady? Absolutely. Outdated? 100% But the staff was just trying their best and so was everything else about this Motel-6-esk hotel and honestly? I’m okay with that. Maybe that says more about me as a person than I care to admit, but hey, get what ya pay for. Also friendly tip: The ice machine was broken with no hope of revival and the shower looked like it was from my grandma’s house and missing a drain cover. So bring coolers and possible shower shoes if that matters to ya—I, personally, did not get foot fungus so that’s a plus.

This property should not be on hotels.com I didn’t even go into the hotel because the conditions on the outside were not good and very unstable and not looking safe to stay. I lost my money and would appreciate a refund or at best partial refund!!!! Please respond Thank you

I don’t recommend this hotel at all nothing was clean and felt a little unsafe there. The bed bugs kept me up all night and woke up with with bites all over my feet. The smell was terrible smelt like weed and cigarettes. The bathroom in the lobby didn’t even have a door and the service was terrible don’t even waste your time looking up this hotel needs to be knocked down

Lobby was smelly and just kind of gross but i hoped the rooms would be better. We checked in saw the room and immediately went back down to cancel. It was filthy! No elevator stairs smelled like urine. Room smelled like smoke, room was dirty and not like not cleaned between guests more like not cleaned ....ever. The only thing good I can say is when I went down to say we wanted to cancel they were at least nice about it.

The place was filthy and disgusting. The bed sheets had cigarette burn holes and stains and the floors were filthy. The hallways smelled of urine and cigarette smoke. Will not ever stay here again
