The reason I booked this hotel over another at the same price was the pool. When I arrived it was closed for renovations. No where did it say it was going to be closed or I would have booked elsewhere

This was supposed to be a handicap accessible room. Did not have a walk in shower. They only provided a seat for you to place in tub. Handicap bar located behind toilet tank? Toilet made noises all night. Sink in bathroom had little room for toiletries. No storage in bathroom. No safe in room. coffee pot only let you brew about a 6 ounce cup which made it very strong. Room purchased through Expedia so they would not give me points for a Hilton member which we were never made aware of. I have stayed at Hiltons before and they were very nice. This place was a disappointment and we were glad we were only there one night. Will look for a different hotel the next time I book. Bathroom in hotel lobby had 2 sinks that didn’t work and two toilets that were out of order. Didn’t even bother to go look at pool or use any other part of hotel.🙁

The hotel itself seemed nice, the lobby was clean and updated. However the rooms are very worn. The computers were down when we were checking in so not only did we have to wait an hour to check in we never got room keys! The front desk staff had to walk us to our room. Then only one elevator was working so it took longer to get to and from our floor. Getting off on our floor the smell was not the best, the carpet was stained and extremely worn out. Our room was missing the sheets and blanket for the pullout sofa. And there were stains on the sofa cushions. The bathroom was ok, but the shower had cracks in the floor and the handle for the water was loose so it wouldn’t stay in place. Overall it was fine for one night, but we won’t be returning until major updates and cleaning is done.

Very nice place to stay, very clean, very comfortable. Room was clean and updated. Pool was a welcome amenity even though the hot tub was still being worked on. Having a bar to relax after a long day was well worth it. You did have to pay for breakfast but it was hot and a decent value. i would defiantly stay here again. The location is perfect lots to do and lots of places to eat.

We try a different use Hilton as our go to for stays on our trips. But yet again, Hilton dropped the ball here, and hard. First off, they are renovating the hotel rooms by removing all of the jetted tubs. They are also renovating the pool and hit tub, which meant they were closed until further notice. None of this was disclosed until check inand ONLY because we asked what the hours were for the pool and hot tub.

Although the Hilton website shows that the pool is closed we did not know until we arrived and it was too late to cancel the booking. We choose this hotel so we could use the pool and did not have a chance. it is also a shower only hotel so our daughter was really disappointed when she didn't get to swim or use a bath. two thumbs down for not caring! Will never stay there again!!!

Nice place near great restaurants and shopping and close enough to Columbus to stay but not have the congestion surrounding downtown traffic. I also met some friendly people at the hotel lobby bar while we watched the local sports.

The property is very convenient to the highway and area shopping. Our room, 318, wasn’t the cleanest, especially the bathroom. Makeup on the counter, no soap to wash hands, the faucet is loose and the mirror needs a good cleaning, Ashlee wrote her name in the steam. The one bed had strands of long hair attached to the underside of the comforter. The Hilton needs to step it up with cleanliness!

The room was very clean! I have anxiety booking rooms because my main thing is cleanliness. We had no issues and would definitely stay here again! It didn’t effect us but if you are looking to swim the pool is currently down.

The staff was courteous, professional, and very nice. The hotel does need the upgrades it is getting. The room was mainly OK, although the bed was not great. My only real complaint is lack of closet/shelf space. If you are staying one night & living out of your suitcase the room was fine. We were there four nights for a formal occasion. It was difficult to unpack and keep our clothes neat. Also, bring a book, because the TV situation is pathetic.

Hotel needs a lot of updates. Room was very noisy inside. You can hear everything in the hallway and all of the road noise in this very busy area. They also charge extra for breakfast. There are way better choices in the area for the same price.

Busy weekend in Columbus with most every property sold out. Arrived at the Hilton Garden Columbus/Polaris to be told there was a "problem" with our room and that the manager had been trying to get in touch with us through Expedia since he arrived at work 2 1/2 hours earlier to tell us our room had been cancelled although I never received any contact. I believe our room was likely bribed out. I was offered a couple bottles of water for the inconvenience which I politely refused. Very disappointed in the way this was handled. Still awaiting a refund from Expedia although this process seems very difficult as well.

Our daughter moved to the area and we were here to help her shop and get settled. Hotel was near many many stores and restaurants. Check in was easy and pleasant. Room was very clean and comfortable. It was the hottest water I’ve ever felt out of a shower spout!

We actually really liked this hotel! It was super clean, the room was a nice size, and it was quiet! Our only complaint was the breakfast, the restaurant part was kinda pricey and we didn’t get what we asked for when it came out.

The bed was flat and squeaked, room was a sauna when we walked in, felt like I was being hit on by the concierge, jacuzzi and pool were closed which I one of the reasons I booked the hotel - wish I would have known. Breakfast was confusing - thought it was continental breakfast, they wanted to charge for extras (eggs, bacon) and had to ask for a plate and give room number. Doors to rooms always slammed - no soft closure.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was clean & comfortable. The “Garden” was in terrible condition. The weeds have taken over the garden. The Hilton Garden Inn flag is faded and torn. There were three windows leaking water from the heavy rainstorm we’d had. These windows were in a main hallway where the elevators were. There were towels that had been placed along the windows and on the floor. The impression I received was that the owner of the hotel doesn’t care and/or doesn’t have the money or doesn’t want to spend the money to repair the windows and landscaping. Also there might as well be no food service because of the limited hours. There’s no complimentary breakfast or coffee like most hotels offer. I would not stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed here for our annual Christmas shopping trip. For the price and the Hilton brand name, I expecting a lot more. The lobby is very nice though! Poor lighting in room, no pen or paper to make notes, room was not cleaned when we got back in the evening, very small trash can so it was overflowing. The beds were comfortable but the floor felt and looked like it needed a good cleaning. There were no towel racks to hang your hand towel except a bar below the sink.They don’t offer free breakfasts. Very disappointed!
