Nice hotel, polite staff. The parking garage is a tight fit if you have a larger vehicle (i.e. full-size, extended cab truck) especially due to the parking of other customers (full size SUVs in compact spots).

The staff was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We were in a short layover in Charlotte and they made this stay very comfortable and easy. Gym not open due to remodeling--check ahead if this is important to you! We arrived late and I wish there had been room service but food and service in the bar did the trick. Friendly and prompt service here too. 10 stars for staff all around!

Experience was subpar at best. TRUCK OWNERS BEWARE! If you have a truck and plan to park at the garage attached to the hotel (which they do not own and have no surveillance or security in) YOUR TRUCK WILL BE BROKEN INTO! Trucks are targeted for firearms and tools per Charlotte PD. Hotel denies liability and you will be on your own.

From check in to check out it was great. The room was AWESOME. Very spacious. I didn’t like that on-top of paying for the hotel room it was an additional $30 for parking in the parking garage attached the hotel. However parking in the parking deck was secure and attached to the hotel so no complaints except the additional cost. I liked that the doors locked at a certain time and only were accessible with a key card.

The parking fee per night is unreasonable. Especially when stating absolutely, positively, there will be no compensation for any kind of damage or theft whatsoever concerning vehicles as stated on the back of the parking ticket stub. I believe if an exorbitant fee, such as this, is charged to guests of the hotel there should be a security guard in place to prevent damage or theft.

This hotel is mostly fine. I would recommend it for a work trip or quick stay. It's relatively clean and comfortable. Parking will add $30 a night, so be prepared. If you want breakfast, plan to either go somewhere else or spend another $30 for that. The pool is gross and not well maintained.

We had to leave the building 3 different times due to the fire alarm being pulled. We had to be moved out or room to another room due to roaches!!!! Never have I ever and never ever do I plan to use this hotel again!

Hmm, a rather difficult review to write. It's a small but usually (!!) ok hotel in downtown Charlotte, and that's its biggest plus. Front clerks were nice and friendly, not worries there. Roomwise, hmm. At first blush ok, but then some details were off-putting. Carpet stains in front of the sink and the sink was clogged. Ok, that can happen at no fault to the hotel or its personnel, but when I pulled back the cover of the bed, it looked and felt as if the linen had not ben changed from the previous guest! I just came back from another trip where upon arrival the bed linen was crisp and still uncrumpled. Not so here... Lets just say, I slept with my clothes on. I have been at the same hotel in the past when this was not an issue, and I hope it won't happen again.

First room we were given had trash left in the room and a dirty wash cloth left in the shower. Front desk responded quickly had a new room assigned and keys brought to us within 5 minutes

Overall, I’m very happy with our choice to stay here. It seemed to be in the heart of everything. Anywhere we wanted to go was within a couple of blocks of the hotel. We did not feel unsafe at any point. Only thing that we weren’t a fan of is that they do cleaning every 2-3 days. We weren’t sure which because an email says 2 days, then a sign says 3 and then we had the cleaning done on day 2 but on day 3 while in our room they also tried to come and didn’t announce they were housekeeping, just tapped and started to come in. The only us good thing, the room was extremely humid even though we kept the AC on the whole time and our clothes were getting moist, and the last night we were here our allergies started to be messed up while in the room.

It was comfortable for a stay however the WiFi in the room did not work for us to use streaming services on the tv and the sound went out on it so we could not watch tv that night. However it came back on in the morning. Other than that the room served its purpose.

The first night was absolutely horrible. Although my room was on H4, it was across from several restaurants. Friday night it was almost impossible to get any sleep. The noise from the traffic was awful. It was noisy for much of the night. The next two nights were better after 11pm. Also the rooms need to be updated. I was really surprised that no safe could be located in my room.

Hotel construction caused water in sink to be brown. Road noise even from high up floor was incredibly loud. Wi-Fi did not work. Parking was in locked garage which was nice and easy walk to lots of places. Would not stay here again given the numerous other options in the area.

The adjoining and room doors are paper thin. We could hear every word our neighbors were saying. Same went for the party folks in the hall. There was also no full length mirror in the room or at the elevator landing. Very odd? Otherwise it was okay.

The beds were horrendous. Got back late from a night out and sunk into a worn out mattress that sloped to the center. I slept on better in summer camp. I complained in the morning and was told they know and get a lot of complaints. Geez, no advance warning? I asked if they were full last night as was told no. But then why…?? There are new beds due in May… it’s hard to believe it takes Marriott 6 months to improve beds “they often get complaints about”…what’s more important than the bed at a hotel???

I let the hotel know ahead of time I was bringing my friend for her birthday. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the staff did things to make her feel special! (Having staff come out to my car to wish her Happy Birthday the minute we arrived was unexpected and so sweet, for example.) The location is perfect, food and bar at the Bistro were perfect when we wanted a quick bite, and our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We’ll be back!

Front staff during at early arrival for football game were fantastic....they let us park, change& held luggage for us (they mentioned break INS happen in parking garage. Went to game, came back n room was ready. Night shift girl was pleasant and helped me with snacks & spoons. The 6am check out lady needs an attitude check & new job. She looked like she just rolled out bed and arrived to work. Her attitude was unpleasant but quickly changed when I asked what her name was.... Naturally I forgot but would remember her face. She checked us out on 12/18/23 at 6am. She wasn't busy & acted like booking through a third party was an inconvenience. The only thing about the room was being handicapped bathroom the water from shower runs out into the hall carpet by front door. Overall I'd stay again. I think the positives outweighted the 2 negatives.

Did not enjoy stay. AC was loud all night and didnt work. When we checked in the receptionist made a big deal about complimentary breakfast. This morning (after they opened up 30min late) the ladies at breakfsst after they got done chatting amongst themselves and rolling their eyes told us we didnt have complimentary breakfast. They proceededto tell us everythingthey didnt have in stock which was half the menu. Will not stay here again. Very expensive and staff is rude.

We came in on motorcycles and it was hot we wanted to park the bikes to walk and have lunch, the staff let us check in early however the bikes couldn't go in the parking garage. The staff assisted with parking in front of the hotel in a cove by the lobby. The hotel was clean, the staff were great, from the concierge to the janitor, it was centrally located to EVERYTHING however due to the motorcycle parking we probably won't return in the future.

We traveled to Charlotte for a game. This location is close to all sport venues downtown. Found a great brewery in walking distance. Shout out to HopFly Brewing nice place 1/2 to footballl stadium. Hotel has good food options nearby. Great short stay

This Courtyard didn't meet the Marriott standard I'm used to enjoying. Elevator lobby areas were unclean, the room had an incredibly uncomfortable couch, and the uninsulated windows meant that on a Saturday evening, we were kept awake until past midnight (from the 12th floor) of the traffic and music from cars below on Tryon Street. The Starbucks kiosk in the lobby had very limited hours, so I was unable to get anything at checkin in the afternoon. The bar itself - which opens at 5 pm - doesn't serve coffee. We would not recommend.

Great location. Walking distance to BOA stadium and restaurants. Clean room, comfortable beds and friendly staff. The only negatives were the room was a little small for the two of us, and there did not seem to be a full service restaurant

Could have been better; temperature regulation in hallways and elevators needs to be adjusted--way too hot; hallways and elevators could be cleaner; walls are very dirty; carpet dingy. Breakfast service was terrible but not staff's fault at all. Reimagine breakfast in a more traditional hotel way. Single service is out. Buffets are in. Overall general maintenance needs to be stepped up for a downtown hotel located in center city. I suggest a bigger maintenance team with a dedicated budget increase. Additionally, kitchen service needs more staff working at one time. Stop understaffing and overworking people.

We arrived at the Charlotte Courtyard by Marriott for a Carolina Panthers football game. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, as we do not know our way around Charlotte. Stephanie and Kesha’s were especially helpful in walking directions and hotel particulars. Although the breakfast price was not included in the room price, the Bistro service was excellent and worth the $25 price. 2 eggs overnight, 3 pieces bacon, fruit/potatoes and toast. Especially Miss Stephanie and Teresa in the Bistro.

Customer service 10/10! We booked this hotel bc it was close to the Spectrum Center. My parents also booked here and we enjoyed it. Breakfast wasn’t free but it was affordable.
