We really enjoyed our stay for two days in this hotel, very welcoming and the 3* in which we were is worth 4*. Very good breakfast (except for the fried eggs). Nice public swimming pool with free access for hotel residents. The bus to downtown is nearby no need to buy ticket, you can pay with debit/credit card (tap in and out!).

Hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Personal, die Aufmerksamkeiten, die es rund um den Aufenthalt gab, angefangen mit einer warmen Stroopwaffel beim Check-in, über den Getränkegutschein zum Geburtstag, bis hin zum kleinen Andenken beim Checkout. Man fühlte sich sofort wohl und willkommen. Einzig etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war der recht unfreundliche Barkeeper, Barchef? Unsere Zimmer waren in den oberen Stockwerken mit schöner Aussicht, topp, blitzblank sauber. Überrascht hat uns das bequeme Bett: Durch den Topper war es richtig kuschelig - wir sind eingesunken und haben super geschlafen! Tee- und Kaffeeauswahl waren gut durchdacht und rundeten den Aufenthalt ab. Es geht halt nichts über eine leckere Tasse Kaffee am Sonntagmorgen, gemütlich im Bett genossen. Das Frühstück war gut mit großer Auswahl und alles wurde immer wieder schnell aufgefüllt. Bis 11 Uhr. Wunderbar! Parken ist teuer, sowohl im Hotelparkhaus, als auch im gegenüberliegenden Industriegebiet (mit EasyPark), 35 Euro/Nacht. !!! Achtung: Das Hotelparkhaus ist für Sportwagen und tiefergelegte Limousinen nicht geeignet, da es sehr steil nach unten geht und man aufsitzt. Höhenbegrenzung ist leider auch bei 1,90 m. !!! Bushaltestelle gibt es direkt vor dem Hotel. Eine Fahrt ins Zentrum liegt etwa 3.70 Euro (eine Strecke) und wird beim Ein- und Aussteigen mit der EC-Karte erledigt. Wir haben uns als Familie (mit Teenies) sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für die Aufmerksamkeit zum Geburtstag!

L'hôtel dispose d'équipements comme 3 piscines extérieures et salle de sport. Les chambres sont agréables, il faut juste faire abstration des petits défauts. Nous n'avions pas pris de pdj car la chambre est équipée d'une cafétière à capsule et d'une bouilloire. Nous avons pu prendre une tasse de lait pour notre fille. L'arrêt de bus juste à côté est bien pratique pour se rendre à la gare. Non loin, vous pouvez aussi prendre le ferry gratuitement pour rejoindre NDSM.

Small but pleasant room. Nice coffee/tea options and a mini fridge. Great views over the swimming pools and towards parts of Amsterdams skyline. Very friendly check in desk staff. Numerous hotel amenities including a pool and small gym. High level of hotel safety with 3 points in which your room key card must be scanned for access at later hours.

Fint ophold til prisen. Ved indtjekning fik vi hver en lun stroopvaffel. Madrasserne var lidt hårde , så vi fik alle ekstra topmadrasser. Der var problemer med aircondition, som i vores tilfælde mere var en blæser - temperaturen kom ikke særligt langt ned i løbet af vores ophold. Søde og venligt personale - slik i receptionen (som vores søn i den grad udnyttede😉). Poolen inde ved naboen var fin, men ikke opvarmet. Nemt at komme ind til byen med bus, men man skulle gå lidt for at finde butikker i nærområdet. Lidt ærgerligt at parkering ikke er en del af den samlede pris ved bestilling - det kostede os 35€ pr dag oveni(i 6 dage), og der var ikke andre steder at parkere i nærområdet. Også en meget stejl op og nedkørsel, der ikke duer til lave biler.

Good well equipped room. Excellent desk space for working. Comfortable room, bed and bathroom. Gym small but well equipped. Free access to public outdoor pool next door, temperature is very cold. Breakfast had good varied food selection. 5 to 10 mins walk to high street for groceries, restaurants and cafes. Did not use public transport but bus stop to central Amsterdam very close to hotel.

De kamer was prima. Ruim, met een bank over de volle lengte voor het raam. Maar het was een gekke ervaring om in een bouwplaats rond te lopen (de gangen). Dat doet afbreuk aan de 'beleving'. Die Zimmerausstattung des 3-Sterne Bereichs des Hotels ist tlw. stark abgewohnt. Lampen sind defekt, TV ist stark abgenutzt, Schrankscharniere sind klapprig, der Teppich im Hotelgang ist mit deutlichen Flecken übersäht. Das Housekeeping ist Klasse! Sehr sauber und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Zu erwähnen ist die güntige Lage zum Bus Nr. 22. Allerdings liegt das Hotel in der "Einfuhrschneise" zum Zentrum. D.h. zur Rushhour ab 16 Uhr kann man diesen Bus Richtung Zentrum nicht mehr nutzen - da er schlichtweg im Feierabendstau steht. Aus der Stadt zurück zum Hotel fährt dann - logischerweise- auch kein Bus mehr, oder aber er hat mega Verspätung oder ist voll. Allerdings kann man vom Hotel mit dem Bus Nr. 22 in die entgegengesetzte Richtung über den Bahnhof Sloterdijk fahren. Ist zwar etwas länger, dafür aber sicherer ab 16-20 Uhr. Supermärkte und Restaurants in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen/2 Busstationen. Alles in Allem ein zu empfehlendes Hotel!!

Comfortable beds, pillows. Room was too warm for my family so we did not sleep well for three nights we were there, air conditioning in room was ineffective but lots of noise from it. Too noisy with window open. Buffet breakfast great, kept us going until dinner time. Easy bus ride to central Amsterdam.

Very nice hotel; however, was very disappointed. Weeks prior to our stay we emailed twice to say that we would be arriving around 11:00 am after flying all night long. We requested an early checkin. Upon arrival we were told that they were "preparing" our room. We were exhausted and waited in the waiting room/reception and continued to ask if our room was ready. All other patrons that arrived were given room keys as we waited and were reminded that "check in is 3:00 pm". We were told that the delay was because we had a terrace. (We never requested a terrace and a terrace certainly was not a priority for us or a perk, all that was necessary was a clean bed for rest.) Yes, at seven minutes to 3:00 p.m. we were given our room keys. We would have surely purchased an extra night room had we even dreamt of the frustration of sleepily hanging around a reception area for 4 hours. This experience truly tainted our Amsterdam experience. Would have given a five star for the hotel/restaurant staff; however, the front desk staff is the reason for the lesser. Very nice continental breakfast!

Good stay, but I asked reception night staff if we could use the pool next door and she said it wasn’t included. We paid to use the pool next day, but the day after that staff at pool said entrance was free for hotel guests. We were also given single beds when we checked in, despite me informing the hotel before our stay we were there for our wedding anniversary. Otherwise I would have given five star rating all round.

Hotel room was fine, comfy and clean. Breakfast was nice and restaurant team lovely. Sadly this was let down by reception staff. Contacted hotel on 2 occasions before travelling with a request and advice on transfer from airport with no reply. After receiving WhatsApp day before co texted them again via this but received answer after we had actually checked in. On arrival receptionist Brenda was not very helpful or friendly. We asked if we could be phoned when room was ready as had been travelling since 2am that morning. This call never came. We asked about getting to the centre. She gave us a map and said walk in that direction as such. However when we actually returned at 3pm to get our room the paperwork given advised on a bus stop just outside the hotel. This was ideal for every other day so surprised Brenda did not even mention this. Sadly we wouldn’t choose this hotel again as good communication is importantly to us

Front desk staff friendly and very helpful. Stored our luggage safely for a day following checkout. The Cont Brkfst was excellent Now to the bar/restaurant. The first encounter the bartender presented professionally. The second time, for food and drink, both the male staff were dressed far too casually … almost slovenly. The place had a handful of filled tables, many were left unwiped. And when the male staffer cleaned them he simply wiped the crumbs off everywhere - sloppily and inefficiently, with residue lefton the seating. to top it off, we learned that MOST OF THE MENU ITEMS were not made on the premises! ie frozen, Yuck. and the food was less than …. And such a dreary place thst could be more inviting. I wonder what the owner of this place pays his staff. Quite the contrast between the front desk and the lounge/restaurant. Shape up!

Airconditioning is so hot. We are unable to sleep. When I asked the engineer. They said ac is turned off bec of winter. It is not even winter. It was advertised that their is ac in the hotel. Wifi 2 bars in the room and keeps dropping off. Hotel is away from the city. Thou you can take bus 22 to central Amsterdam which is convenient. I was offered by the hotel a birthday package for 50 eu. I accepted. Got an email when will they set up. I told them 2 pm. Upon arrival room was not set up. My daughter even saw the ballons being brought up, it spoiled the surprise. When we arrived in the room only ballons inside. Thanks for the requested slice of cake which was left inside the ref instead of being set up nicely. The prosecco which came with the package was not there. I had to go down again to the lobby and they said they will bring to the room. There was zero planning on this package.

The hotel is good - was quiet, staff polite and the room cleaned very well, daily (thanks, Paul). It is a bus journey in to the centre of Amsterdam (historically we were told this area was not part of Amsterdam so it is outer area) and somewhat further than I anticipated, with the area around the hotel feeling a little questionable to start with (myself and 2 children). It is on the main road in to Amsterdam with not much in the immediate location (feels a little 'intersection'), with some men sat around drinking alcohol on the street most of the time). However, we found a lovely pizza restaurant, a few cafes and supermarket - only a 10 min walk. Public transport is amazing (the 22 bus stop is right outside the hotel and takes you in to centre of Amsterdam). Whilst we would have loved to stay in the centre of the city, by the canals, cost wouldn't allow so I would recommend this hotel and we will return again. Thanks Art Hotel we had a lovely visit!

The hotel is conveniently placed for accessing the city centre and the airport. Hotel staff were friendly and the hotel and rooms are clean, comfortable and air conditioned. We did not make use of the pool or restaurant, so cannot comment on this. We did receive complimentary stroopwaffels on arrival and a small clog keychain each when we left, which was a nice touch. The 22 bus stops right outside, taking you into the city centre, or to Sloterdijk train station which connects you to the airport. There are cafes, shops and bars a short walk away heading into the city centre. We would stay again.

Very impressed, the room was much bigger than expected, everything was clean and the bathroom was modern with a lovely shower. Well-located with a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you to Amsterdam Central in about 10 minutes. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast buffet was INCREDIBLE! The best breakfast I've had at a hotel. Would highly recommend and will be coming back!

Some hot food wasnt replenished quick enough (we had sat down, ate, went back 10 minutes late and bacon, sausages and pancakes were not replenished in that time). Would be a lovely touch if a bottle of water was left in the room on arrival.

Run of the mill hotel that was maintained well by the housekeeping. Breakfast not particularly palatable and would have given it a miss. Front desk staff were polite and courteous and arranged a packed meal when we had to leave out early

We had so much fun here. It was beautiful, spacious, and in a great area. Everyone was great and incredibly helpful. We also loved Dustin at the bar!

The hotel itself was ok. The room was good. We got to the hotel after a long day of exploring the city and being on a tour. We were tired, we were hungry. As soon as we walked in the door, we went straight to the restaurant for a drink to relax and a bite to eat. The sign said wait to be seated. So we stood there, for 10 minutes, as they looked at us and walked by. Finally a young woman came over, so we said for 2 please. She asked us if we had a reservation. We said no. A reservation at a hotel? And the place was almost empty to boot. She said we could not come in because they only had one cook. So we said then we will sit at the bar and only have a drink. She said sorry no. Can you believe it. We went to our room hungry and thirsty.

Front desk staff friendly and very helpful. Stored our luggage safely for a day following checkout. The Cont Brkfst was excellent Now to the bar/restaurant. The first encounter the bartender presented professionally. The second time, for food and drink, both the male staff were dressed far too casually … almost slovenly. The place had a handful of filled tables, many were left unwiped. And when the male staffer cleaned them he simply wiped the crumbs off everywhere - sloppily and inefficiently, with residue lefton the seating. to top it off, we learned that MOST OF THE MENU ITEMS were not made on the premises! ie frozen, Yuck. and the food was less than …. And such a dreary place thst could be more inviting. I wonder what the owner of this place pays his staff. Quite the contrast between the front desk and the lounge/restaurant. Shape up!
