Location was perfect. Staff was excellent. No elevator so you need to climb 3 flights of stairs. The street is very busy and late at night you can hear all the people up until around 2-3am. Great if you want to be one of them but not so much if you want to get some sleep. Beds are low and not very comfortable.

Hotel was nice and clean and walking distance from Colosseum. People at front desk were very helpful too. My only complain is it doesn't have an elevator and we had to carry bags up the stairs. Our room was on first floor which is not a big deal but still is a bit of a concern with large luggage.

The AC in the first room did not work. We asked to move rooms and ended up in the front of the hotel, which was nice. We never saw a breakfast area and it was never mentioned. There is no elevator and after walking around Rome all day, climbing three floors of marble stairs was exhausting. The rooms were nice, the furniture was like you see in the photos (Don't let the wide-angle shots fool you though - The rooms are small)

This hotel doesn’t have an elevator and the pictures they use to advertise make it look a LOT nicer than it really is. It is very old and dated. The shower was terrible inside the “jacuzzi” tub that leaked water out of it. The only good thing is that it’s right next to the Coliseum and you can see it out the window. The price is very excessive for what you get. Won’t stay here in the future.

Hotel muito bem localizado a poucos metros do Coliseu. O hotel não possui elevador e o quarto está no terceiro andar, então não recomendado para quem tem problemas com locomoção. Não há café da manhã. Tome muito cuidado ao reservar o quarto pois o que ficamos não tem banheiro privativo, embora ninguém usou na estadia. A janela é bem pequena. O quarto é bem apertado. Tivemos problema com o controle remoto da TV pois a camareira acidentalmente mandou pra lavanderia e não tinham reserva. Achei muito estranho ter que deixar as chaves na recepção, não possui cofre. O hotel está bem numa região com muito barulho (principalmente durante o final de semana) embora a janela tem bloqueio térmico e ruído mas mesmo assim ouve-se música e barulho vindo do exterior. Tivemos que pagar uma taxa de turismo (EUR 4/dia) mas não deram nenhum recibo, sei lá pra onde vai esse dinheiro.

We had a local friend store her bag in our room while we explored the city and the worker yelled at us and accused us of having her sleep over despite her being in the room for 2 minutes. The rest of the staff were very kind and helpful. There is no elevator and keys must be turned in every time you leave. Overall nice place and great location.

This is a great little hotel at an amazing location near the Colosseum. The room itself has all modern amenities including wifi. You do have to walk up three flights of stairs and there is no elevator so be mindful of that. Also they have a rule that you must drop your key off at the front desk when you leave the hotel. While unusual they are staffed 24 hours a day so it actually provides extra security (no risk of losing your key!). Overall a great hotel in a very convenient location to traverse Rome!

Très bon accueil, Chambre jolie et spacieuse. Sdb propre, par contre le bain à remous ne fonctionne pas. Attention : impossible de dormir entre 23h00 et 02h00 avec les bars à côté. Pas recommandé pour se reposer.

Our room view was amazing, right next to coliseum and an archeological dig site! The room was clean, but the smell of cigarette smoke mostly in our bathroom but still leaked to the whole room was too much! The tv didn’t work. Also soo close to a lgbt 🏳️🌈 bar which was loud through the night. Everyone was super friendly too! Food in the area yummy!!

La stanza è pulita e bella. La visuale è stupenda grazie al Colosseo dietro l'angolo. Unica pecca è che ho prenotato una camera doppia con vasca idromassaggio ma ho scoperto che in realtà la mia stanza era una singola e la vasca era per una persona sola e sembrava anche vecchia. A parte la ragazza che ci ha fatto il check-in, i receptionist sembra che non hanno voglia di aiutarti e di rispondere alle tue domande.

I only had one night here. It is super close to the Colosseum but the room was in need of an update. The tap and pay doesn't work and there's no elevator which wasn't a problem for me but may be for others. The shower was leaky all over the floor. In a pinch it's an ok place to stay but glad it was only for one night. One positive was that the staff was very kind.

This is the place to stay if you want to be close to the Colosseum! We tried 2 rooms: a triple (3 twin beds, 2 were pushed together and one was separate), and a double (2 twin beds pushed together). The triple was on the 1st floor and very large and roomy. The double was on the 3rd floor and had a view of the Colosseum (but was pretty small). The rooms have air conditioners operated by remote control. This location is amazing! Steps from the Colosseum and bus line. Lots of restaurants and a bar and gelato shop right outside the door.

The location is awesome! The staff was super nice. The room, however, was right above a bar and they were "having a good time" until 2 AM. We didn't sleep until after that. The staff was kind enough to move us to a different room the next day and it was great the rest of the time.

Tivemos problema com o controle remoto da TV pois a camareira acidentalmente mandou pra lavanderia e não tinham reserva. Achei muito estranho ter que deixar as chaves na recepção, não possui cofre. O hotel está bem numa região com muito barulho (principalmente durante o final de semana) embora a janela tem bloqueio térmico e ruído mas mesmo assim ouve-se música e barulho vindo do exterior. Tivemos que pagar uma taxa de turismo (EUR 4/dia) mas não deram nenhum recibo, sei lá pra onde vai esse dinheiro.

First trip for us to Rome, and chose this hotel based on location and price. It’s fairly central and I would suggest you getting tickets for bus/trains in the proximity. The staff was friendly and helpful. Downside was the bed was a bit on the harder side and the pillows a bit small. Did not have our room on arrival and was allocated another room at 1am. There is a busy gay bar downstairs and was not ideal after an 8 hour flight as the room was right above it. Location however is great, right across the road from the Colosseum. Couple of restaurants and a convenience store around. Room is basic, had great pillows in the 2nd floor room. Will stay again, but will ask for a room not road facing.

The hotel was very close to the colosseum and restaurants, all walkable. The room was clean and nice, AC worked great when you needed it, but we went in October so we just left the room window open. There is a bar below so if it gets noisy you can just close the window. Staff were great and they will hold your luggage on your check out date. We would go back.

They did not have the room type we reserved and gave us a lesser room. The AC did not work and the front desk staff would not help because the room was upstairs and there is no elevator. The manager was dismissive and rude. We left. Nothing like the description.

This is a great little hotel at an amazing location near the Colosseum. The room itself has all modern amenities including wifi. You do have to walk up three flights of stairs and there is no elevator so be mindful of that. Also they have a rule that you must drop your key off at the front desk when you leave the hotel. While unusual they are staffed 24 hours a day so it actually provides extra security (no risk of losing your key!). Overall a great hotel in a very convenient location to traverse Rome!

This hotel doesn’t have an elevator and the pictures they use to advertise make it look a LOT nicer than it really is. It is very old and dated. The shower was terrible inside the “jacuzzi” tub that leaked water out of it. The only good thing is that it’s right next to the Coliseum and you can see it out the window. The price is very excessive for what you get. Won’t stay here in the future.

Staff is amazing and friendly. Our room is big enough for 3. Hot shower is very relaxing after doing a lot of walking. They have jetted tub too. Location is very convenient, very close to the Colosseum, 2 mins walk to the train station, 5mins walk to Hop on City Tour bus and 18mins walk to the Trevi Fountain. Lots of restaurants outside the hotel and the gelato is to die for!

The AC in the first room did not work. We asked to move rooms and ended up in the front of the hotel, which was nice. We never saw a breakfast area and it was never mentioned. There is no elevator and after walking around Rome all day, climbing three floors of marble stairs was exhausting. The rooms were nice, the furniture was like you see in the photos (Don't let the wide-angle shots fool you though - The rooms are small)

I was really happy with my stay at Imperial Rooms. This is not a luxury property but the staff are lovely and ensure you have a safe and secure experience next to the Coliseum. There is no elevator but staff jumped to help me carry my luggage up to the 1st floor. It was remarkably quiet. Everything was very clean. However, the bed could use an upgrade. You must leave your key on site and buzz in after hours but there is always someone at the desk. I would recommend Imperial Rooms for folks on a budget.

The only downside it was that the room was completely different from the pictures. Pros: very easy to get to if you’re driving. Bathtub was wonderful. Location is convenient for the colisseum. Large, well decorated room. Mini fridge. I’m Cons: This hotel is noisy. Theres several nightclubs on the first floor and we heard techno until 2 am. We also heard every person who left or arrived in their rooms. The 3rd bed in the triple room is a spring mattress that feels like it’s been working overtime since the 80s. The management insisted on taking our keys when we left the hotel. I’ve never paid hundreds per night to not have my own room keys. Additionally we didnt get the codes for the outside door. We had to buzz and wait to be let in, which was sometimes instant and sometimes not.
