Fine if your looking for an overnight bed which I was. Go elsewhere if an extended family stay. Wifi not working, free to air tv signal not working, on site restaurant closed. Room dated and not clean, water system temperature was like a yo-yo didn’t know what it wanted to put out.

It is not a hotel, it is a motel. There is no Wi-fi. There is no restaurant. The main door to my room had a 1-inch gap at the bottom. The bathroom window was very dirty.

Internet doesn’t work, coffee machine doesn’t work at breakfast, only 2 pillows on a double bed, shower recess leaks, no way to contact reception after about 6pm. On a very noisy main road.

Parking is limited for the amount of accomodation. The bays are small, and unfortunately most vehicles are oversized for the bays, the nature of older accomodation and the big size of todays vehicle fleet. Rooms was clean and tidy and adequate size for a few nights stay. Ibis is easy access to town for meals and sightseeing. Staff were very friendly and professional, check in and out was very easy.

Nice hotel. We had the family room but a bit noisy close to the main road. Cutlery in the room, but no plates. The continental breakfast was good. Happy with the friendly check in/out. Dissapointed that the Bar and Restaurant was closed for dinner. No accessable power points in the second room. Had to move the chest of drawers to access the only one. Overall, happy with our stay.

A great, convenient place to stay when in Albany. Super roomy room and the staff were helpful and friendly. Only criticism would be not being warned at either the point of (online) booking or check-in that the kitchen was completely closed.

Good location and we have stayed here before a few times , however this time the restaurant was closed for dinner and breakfast , we weren’t advised of this until arrival. Reception staff were not friendly The rooms are now in need of renovation and a really good clean, dusty , dirt around all the edges of the carpets Beds were clean though . Bit of a disappointing stay

We paid nearly $700 for this room for two nights, which we felt was exploitatively high given the time of year (between Christmas & New Year). The room was extremely run down (old carpets and curtains, cigarette smell, crispy old blankets, no working WiFi, poor lighting). Despite having to wait until well after 2pm to check in, on account of the room needing to be “cleaned” the room was not clean, the carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, skirting boards were revolting, the grout in the bathroom was unclean and there was mould on the back of the door, there was dust on the shelves. Would avoid at all costs.

Parking needs a desperate upgrade to allow for larger cars. Access upstairs was only via one point and if cars parked there can’t get larger cases through with risking damage to cars. Can’t walked down front of cars where it would be safer but have walk behind with cars barely able to fit if cars are driving past. Couldn’t use balcony as filthy, heavy dust on bedside table and walls not cleaned around the toilet. Kettle etc there but no power point to use unless unplugging tv or fridge. Service at front desk was friendly and easy to deal with. Didn’t bother reporting the lack of cleanliness during stay as we were literally only there the sleep and didn’t hang around. Reply when reported on leaving was ‘Sorry we will let them know’ No remuneration offered. Noise was the Albany Hwy and we were in the room backed onto there. Will we stay again? No

Great location. However shower and wifi were terrible. Shower had no pressure or hot water really. Wifi didn't work. When travelling all you ask for is a good shower and Wifi. Got neither unfortunately. Breakfast was nice however we didn't eat there until the last day as we were told restaurant was closed.

I booked king size bed. They just simply attached two single bed with two different size of mattress on them. It was super discomfiting alright because on the middle of the bed it was like incline. We stayed two nighs there they didn’t even bother for proper cleaning of the room while we are out for exploring the city.

We had a positive stay at this motel. However, it is an older building and there are aspects that are a bit dingy/dated. Bed was comfortable, pillows okay (but I'm fussy about my pillow), water pressure excellent and plenty of hot water, bathroom a little chilly, room was spacious and cleaned. It would have been good to have a plastic basin to use to wash dishes instead of the bathroom basin. And some detergent please.

Room was pleasantly and suprisingly more modern than expected. Spacious room, comfortable and big king size bed. Bathroom was also sufficiently spacious. Amentities were great with plenty of power points, storage space and really happy with the microwave and crockery. Generally quite clean. Staff were friendly as well. Location is a few mins drive to town centre. Suggested areas of improvement: could do with an extra bin (one in bathrom and one in main room), more hooks or rails in bathroom, slippers (do hotels still supply those?), and the toilet seat was slighly wet upon arrival (assume from recent clean). Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay and would stay again.

When we arrived at 6:50pm there was a neon sign advertising "Bar & Grill" In fact there was no one there. We needed to ring a number to get a code for the key. Then we found the unit was on the first floor although I had asked for disabled access. This got sorted out through the phone. We then found there was no milk. When attempting to sort this out we were told we would have to sort it out with the morning staff who would arrive at 8am the next day. We didn't wait around and won't be back!

We arrived a little after 6:00pm, the person at the reception told us that the reception was closed and directed us to follow the check in instruction on the front door. We couldn’t find that, as well as the reception person, as it was wrongly displayed when the door is open, she was extremely rude. Terrible hygiene in the rooms, a dead bug on the pillow, a worm on the bed and heaps of dust behind the curtain. We can provide photos if needed. No Wi-Fi and restaurant as listed in the information on Expedia. Payment option other than Credit Card is not available, and the Credit Card surcharge was not stated in any information. Give us a very bad impression of Albany and Expedia.

Check in was fast and the room was very spacious. The room had everything you might need for a stay, and the room was very clean and comfortable. With its location there really is nothing to complain about. The staff were lovely and I would definitely come back.
