Room was ok - smelled a little musty, shower was not clean as it had hair in it, and pillows were not comfortable. Pool was great for my kids - small splash pad was perfect for littles. Restaurant did provide very limited buffet for breakfast on sunday but we decided to go elsewhere. Location was nice as it was 5-7 minutes away from restaurants and areas of interest, i.e. Caterpillar museum Parking on the street was fine overnight at the meters, and if there were no spots, they do provide a parking garage for $10 across the street

we were very disappointed that the splash pad was closed the hot tube was only warm and the pool was freezing also we were under the impression that the restaurant would be open but it was closed all in all the experience was underwhelming and we will defiantly look to find a different place to stay next time

Pool was big and the splash pad was an added bonus. The hot tub was very hot but the jets didn’t work too well. The room was very comfy, small bathroom, and we had to hot water but was taken care of.

The building is beautiful and impressive but a bit run down. Our bathroom was disgusting like someone totally forgot to clean it. There was tons of hair on the floor etc.. the carpet in the room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed either.

Upon arrival I didn’t realize there would be no windows at all in the room to the outside, only one window to the pool. There was no peephole so there was no way of knowing who was outside your door when someone was knocking which made me uncomfortable especially with children. Also the pool area was so loud you could hear all the people inside our room like we left the door open. Also when using the pool there were dirty wet towels left everywhere. The worst part was the splash pad area, the whole reason I booked this hotel was closed which was very inconvenient with a three year old. While using the pool we also watched 12-15 year old kids running all over unsupervised and curse. We even watched on group pull the fire alarm. No staff every said anything Evenually after about 20 minutes it was shut off.

Killed a roach in the bathroom, someone had used the toilet without flushing before I even attempted to use it myself, people were yelling and smoking in the hallway at 4 am and when I called the front desk for help, no one answered. Will never return.

The hotel was close to the venue we were going to, which is what we wanted. The staff that was available was good but we had to wait quite a while to get checked into our room. The room was okay but the tub was disgusting. I wish I could share the picture I took. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything in the hallway. We won't stay here again.

At first glance this is a beautiful hotel. The lobby is very spacious and nice. Once we took the elevator up to our floor though, you could see where it needed some updates. The carpeting in both the hallway and in the room needs updated. Walls could use fresh paint. The room had a very musty smell to it. The shower was very odd. Only hot water was available, no matter how you tried to adjust the handle. Which I guess was better than freezing cold? But it was so hot you had to jump in and out to keep from scalding yourself. The one nice thing I will say is that the bed was very comfortable at least. All in all though, it was a disappointing stay for the price.

The building has been nicely renovated and is in good condition. The downside of the location was the Harley Davidsons at midnight and 2am and ignorant people with loud exhausts blasting through downtown. Disrupting sleep.

I was on the 7th floor my 2nd night and could hear everything on the street below. From people talking to the crosswalk beeping every minute to the interstate- it was so loud and a bad night’s sleep. The windows are very thin with no sound proofing and didn’t even close all the way, leaving a small crack that I had to stuff with toilet paper to try and dampen the noise- it did not work. I stayed in 2 separate rooms and neither one had a working HBO Max, even though the tv stated it was included with my stay. The parking is really inconvenient and kind of crazy- when I left the parking garage my ticket did not work bc the front desk didnt properly validate my ticket. I paid at the garage and stopped back at the front desk to ensure I wasn’t double charged. The front desk checked to see if I was charged for parking but did not mention anything about the validation and just let me leave having paid full price for parking in the garage. What is even the point of validating my parking?? The elevators reeked of cigarettes and alcoholic beverages. The pool area was also dirty. And you can tell that main areas are not deep cleaned- or even spot cleaned regularly. I’m not even certain the rooms are properly cleaned given both my rooms had remnants of previous guests- phone numbers written on info pamphlets, hairs on the shower wall, dried up food scraps on the carpet. And you should get toilet seats that match the size and shape of your toilet.

I think that it is absolutely ridiculous that you offer balcony rooms and charge extra for them, only to find out they aren't accessible. i understand keeping them locked for safety purposes, but dont charge people extra for something they cant use. not to mention that despite selecting and paying for this room with a balcony, they were all sold out and i stayed in a room that went for a rate about $15-$20 less than what i paid for my room. decent hotel, but do a little better.

Lipstick on a pig. Common areas are nice and updated. Room was exact opposite. Dingy, loud, no on-site parking. Peoria isn’t super safe either so even though it’s downtown, don’t walk anywhere at night.

Clean room, friendly staff but the beds are not comfortable, the room temp can only be set down to 69 so for those of us that prefer cooler sleeping temps and comfy beds this is a big draw back. We left in the middle of the night and drove home.

Goodness to start we showed up to the hotel to check in around 10pm fully expecting our room to be ready and it wasn’t at all. So I was told by the check-in person that I would receive a call after the cleaning people cleaned it and it shouldn’t take too long. After over an hour I still haven’t received a call so I called the hotel myself after waiting for someone to answer for over 10 minutes. Someone came on the phone first telling me they didn’t have a room ready still and then coming back on to tell me, they did have a room ready, but we would have to be there as soon as possible or they would give it away. So I hurried and got there immediately and checked in we got our key cards and went up to our room only to find out we were not given the room we booked. We were given a completely different room that was cheaper than the room we booked. The price was not adjusted, and I was given a two bed room instead of the suite that included a queen bed, a partition and a living room area. I would’ve called down to the front desk, but we had already waited so long for the first room and after being told they would give it away if we didn’t get there soon enough in it being almost midnight we gave up and went to bed. When we woke up in the morning, we first noticed these stains all over the bottom of the bed skirts. One of them looked like somebody had actually urinated and it had dried the other one had blood on it. It was very disgusting.

I wasn’t too keen to stay downtown because parking in the garage across the street was a little bit annoying, but let me tell ya— this staff was AMAZING! The service, hotel amenities, and pet friendly rooms were WELL worth the stay! I’ve never had such exceptional service before from a hotel in my life and I’m so grateful for their kindness and hospitality. Would absolutely book again if back in the area!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Felt unsafe the entire trip due to hotel staff letting anyone in the hotel at any time. Couldn’t enjoy the pool due to a party going on in there with mostly unpaid guests. Homeless people sleeping in the lobby. Staff was not helpful at all. Room was very hot. Stay at your own risk!

Very bad experience. Staff was not helpful when a kid had his phone stolen from pool area. No security and no cameras anywhere. Staff lets ANYONE in the hotel. Homeless people sleeping in the lobby. Rooms were hot. Stay at your own risk! Do t let you kids out of your sight!!!

This hotel overbooked itself and left people who paid for their room weeks ahead left with no room for hours. I waited 20 plus minutes to get into my room when i checked in after 8pm. Absolutely ridiculous. Everyone deserves a refund for the show they put on. None of the rooms were clean for people to check into. Absolutely terrible. Many people will be asking for a refund from this hotel. Overpriced for what you get completely disappointing.

If you are attending an event at the Peoria Civic Center, in Illinois, this is a perfect location. It is an easy two block walk with great lighting for walking back after dark. The restaurant on site was also very good. The room was nice and clean with great air conditioning that kept the room really cool, a very comfortable bed, and large well working television. Very pleased.

Horrible, the area is in the middle of the getto. We went to a concert, walking back 3 blocks at night was extremely unsafe. We were followed by drug addicts. No police to be seen and no hotel security! They had no safe parking, around back of the hotel where their parking was, was even worse! And I live in chicago. Wow I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and unsafe. There were also packs of 4-5 men walking around the street. So unsafe! DO NOT GO!

The staff was friendly,but the accommodations were not,had to take 2 separate elevators to our room,they don’t have their own parking,you had to park on street and pay or park in a garage 2 blocks away. It is not what you would think a Sheraton would be. The area is not ideal . Someone was smoking weed in the hallway all night,keeping us awake,we will not stay here again. Not to mention we had a view out of our window of all the air conditioning units on the roof, not ideal. I like to take walks when I stay at places,the homeless population in this area is abundance keeping me from doing that. A lot of abandoned buildings,homeless camping out,just not the cleanest and safest area.

The area is clean, the hotel was clean, the room was clean and check in was easy. Deposit (hold) is $100 and the parking is in the street which is free overnight until 8 am and then you have the coin meter to feed. Restaurant on site but we arrived late and didn’t get the opportunity to eat there. Late check in until 2 am… I rate 5/5

Every amenity that they sell you on this hotel, is not available. They have no parking garage contract anymore. You need to find a sketchy parking spot in downtown Peoria. Their entire 15 minute parking in the front loop, was packed with cars that never left. Their doors lock at night, which is great. Except that their sign, says the doors lock at midnight, so if you have to park in the sketchy parking garage in the back of the hotel, and think that you could walk in the back door at 9 PM, because the sign says midnight the door closes…… you would be mistaken and now have to walk through a sketchy back alley to get to the front door. Pool is closed, was not told that when we checked in. The only sign for the pool being closed is actually on the pool door. So you get your kids already and excited to go to the pool, walk all the way to the far end of the hotel, to find a sign that says the pool is closed until further notice. Ask at the front desk about the pool and they were clueless to even know that the pool was closed. The restaurant in the hotel is closed until further notice. The room was very nice, lobby was nice. Hallways are dated and dingy. I would have never stayed at this hotel if I knew they didn’t have parking or a working pool

We stayed there for Steamboat Classic 4 mile race. It was convenient. Staff was very helpful, courteous and friendly. We had trouble with AC that staff helped fix, which improved room comfort. We had noisy neighbors who came home drunk at 1:00 a.m. our 2nd night - woke us up. Pool was crazy with kids - we didn't attempt to use it. Motel restaurant was good.

I was disappointed that parking was off property and we had to pay, that was only advised on the day of check-in receiving this information by email. Street parking was also an option, but if you could find a spot. Room was not ready until 3pm and I was placed in the older section of the hotel. Their restaurant was closed until further notice and overall I would not stay here in the future. Not the safest neighborhood in Peoria
