I booked it because there are 2 pool. However , the pool were closed for winter season. The ordering page did not mention anything about that. Kids were so sad because the pool was the only reason we went there.

Enjoyed our stay. Convention meals were excellent. Very nice quiet room with 4 poster bed! They kept us too busy to try the pool but it looked enticing. Since it is not close to the Philly airport more shuttle informotion at the front desk would be helpful. Nice staff, Great place to stay.

Nice enough. They were doing construction while we were there so it was loud and smelled like chemical in all hallways (not in our room). Pool area really needs to be upgraded. Our mini fridge didn’t work, unfortunately. Staff was excellent.

They welcomed me with a warm cookie on check in, that was great! Room was clean and comfortable. I'm a pillow snob, but they had a variety of pillows to choose from, I was very happy about this. There are several dining options across the street, that was easy. My only point for improvement would be to turn up the temp of the hot tub, it was lukewarm... Overall good stay.

I had a great experience at this hotel as I was there solo for a business trip. The staff were very helpful - I felt they went above and beyond. I also enjoyed the meals at the restaurant and the jogging path and the exercise room. It did have many rooms booked for the nights I was there, so I heard people in the hallways, but it didn't disturb my sleep.

Old facilty, dated carpets and small roooms. Had ants in bathroom, musty smelling in some parts. Would not stay here again, ecxtrey overpriced. Would have better off staying at our normal very clean Hampton Inn with free breakfast for half the price. Disappointed overall

The staff were great & the room was clean with a comfortable bed. But, the HVAC system did not go into ‘quiet’ mode even when switched off. So it buzzed and rattled all night, like an AC unit that is booting up to run. The windows didn't open, so I could not drown out the electrical rattle/buzz with some cricket/ environmental white noise. Also -note there is no minibar or room service, for late arrivals. Restaurant & bar was closing when I arrived; but the staff was great (!) and got me a glass of wine before they hit the lights. But there was no food available, unless you left the premises.

We loved our 3 days staying here. Our room on the ground floor was large, well appointed and comfortable. The bed was great as was the bed linen. The bathroom bench has lots of room to put toilet bags on. The room was very clean. The grounds were lovely and the restaurant great. We visited several wonderful local gardens. The only drawback was the unreliable internet. This was very frustrating but hopefully fixed by now.

We thought the Desmond was very nice. Usually when my husband and I visit my parents, we stay with them but there wasn't room. I loved the big bed and spacious room. But I was unhappy that the hotel staff changed the A/C to automatic after our first night. I didn't realize it until about midnight when it woke me up as it turned on and off loudly. I understand why they'd change it if nobody was staying in the room but we stayed two nights. Also, your cleaning crew was loud in the hallway in the morning on the second day. This happens in every country but it stinks. I shouldn't have to wake up four hours before check out. All in all, we liked our stay. But not sure we will do it again.

I didn’t like that the room was stuffy which brought on my allergies. I did not have a good night’s sleep because I couldn’t breathe. On checking out, the lady at the desk was very dismissive and rude while I was explaining to her about the issues I had with the room. The refrigerator was not working at all. The shower was like someone was using a sprinkler on you. Very disappointing to say the least. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m glad it was only for two nights.

Our experience was very unfavorable. We left a handmade stuffed animal in our double adjoining room, called after we left but BEFORE CHECK OUT asking for someone to collect two stuffed animals that were 100 percent there because the cleaning had not been done yet. We called three times before writing this and getting the promise for a return call. Bottom line, broken hearted child and terrible service by a hotel simply refusing to open a room door. Should have gone back but trusted them to be decent people and simply return our items or at least our call. Really disappointing. Bad restaurant food and cold hot tub as well

My husband and I booked this hotel for a romantic night away from the kids, and it definitely delivered! We were greeted by a friendly staff member upon check-in, and our room was beautiful, clean and well appointed. However, within the first half hour of settling in we realized that we were smack dab in the middle of a kids' hockey team with their families, kids loudly running up and down the hallway. Not a huge deal, but I called down to the front desk to see if there was any chance that there was a room available in a quieter spot. Not only did the manager apologize for the noise and put us in a different room immediately, but he upgraded us to a larger room and comped us two rounds of drinks, absolutely above and beyond! Fork and bottle was a delightful romantic spot for dinner and the food, although priced a little on the higher end, was absolutely delicious (and service was wonderful there). Overall a fantastic experience, we will definitely be back.

It was a lovely hotel and the Holiday Decorations were outstanding. Christmas Eve, restaurant closed @ 4:00 and bar @ 6:00. I realize there weren’t many guests, but every restaurant in the area was closed. Residents can always dine at home, but hotels guests can’t and free sandwiches and chips is a nice gesture but not when you’re paying $250.00 a night for a room. Same goes for nothing being open on Christmas Day. Also, guests who park in handicapped spaces usually have mobility issues. Why are the Hotel Handicapped spots so far from the Hotel?
