Casa Amate 62 - Mérida centro

Good hotel and helpfull staff but very noisy. They put music until 10:30pm sometimes and start sometimes as early as 6am... do not understand why...

Our stay at Hotel Casa Amate exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Mérida. Every space is thoughtfully designed, and the amenities made our stay even more enjoyable, being able to come out your room and enjoy the pool is a really cool detail. Another highlight of our trip quickly became our morning routine. We looked forward to having breakfast and an great cortado at the hotel's restaurant and café each day. The menu offered great options, everything we tried was delicious, and it was the perfect way to start our day. The location is another major advantage. It's centrally located and within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, parks, and many of Mérida's main attractions, allowing us to experience the city without constantly needing transportation. What really made the difference, however, was the people. Every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel at home throughout our stay. My wife and I left with a long list of places we still want to explore in Mérida, and one thing is certain, when we return, Hotel Casa Amate will be our first choice.

AC great, cleaning staff awesome....no TV, no micro anywhere (disappointing) I will go back as location is amazing.

It is 15 minute walk to plaza grande(nice park , museums, shops and restaurants along the way) and a 8 minute walk to the beginning of Paseo de Montejo( a lot of good restaurants) and a 20 minute walk to La Plancha park (beautifulpark). Our stay was great. Our room was cleaned everyday and the staff was very courteous. The only thing to be aware is that the rooms only have a full size bed, not a king like it said on the reservation, no tv, and only bedsheets. I had to ask for a blanket.

Absolutely loved Casa Amate 62! Gorgeous rooms, spotless and comfy. Even with the AC turned off, the rooms stayed refreshingly cool, making it the perfect haven from Mérida’s heat. The hotel has a charming mix of modern style and Yucatán character.
