Stay was in general good. They gave us two drink coupons when we arrived which was nice! Someone was stuck in the elevator when we got there so they were down to only one so there was quite a lineup. Their breakfast Hall was also very small so there was a lineup to get a table.

The house staff was very kind and respectful. The reception staff was a bit cold. The food in the restaurant was delicious! There must have been construction at the front door. Elevator (1 of 2) smelled like puke and broke down one night. There wasn’t an electrical plug beside the vanity but on the opposite side of the bathroom. The bed was VERY old. There was a large divot in the middle. The carpet could use a shampoo. The couch cushions kept sliding off when we sat on them.

Property is under complete renovation. I wish I had known while booking a hotel . Fortunately for Embassy Suites all staff there are excellent people and they made the staff a decent stay.

Front desk staff were very friendly, patient and happy to help resolve issues. They were also multi-lingual, conversing with me in English and French. Rooms are kept in good condition and the housekeeping staff made sure to provide fresh towels and clear out the garbage daily. The Palais does Congrès is right across the street along with easy access to the subway to get around Montreal. The parking garage is easy to access with ample parking on multiple levels and access to/from the hotel directly. Would definitely come to visit again in the future when we are back in Montreal!

Hotel en cours de rénovation mais pas pas prévenu. Donc 1et réveil à 6h30 par un bruit infernal. Pas très sérieux. Problème de parking. La hauteur max des véhicules n'est pas mentionnée dans l'annonce et nous a été annoncée uniquement la veille !! Et notre véhicule ne rentrait pas 😡

Close to Old Montreal, walkable, great happy hour and breakfasts. Parking garage is convenient. Currently under construction but it didn’t impact our stay. Room was big and comfortable.

One elevator down out of 2 for my 4 days stay. Had to wait so long for elevator as I was on the 10th floor. The cleanliness of the only elevator was very poor. I waited so long I Had to used stairs from the outside the lobby to the underground parking with my luggage, not the best thing

Perfect setup for young kids having the suite. Great location. Staff were friendly! The shower was awful, no water pressure at all. The elevators were always full, you’d have to wait 10 minutes to fit in one and get down with a stroller. Room was quite loud with the major street being frequently plowed overnight.

-dirty pillow case(not changed?), marks on bed sheet, not enough towels despite asking for towels for 4, toilet seat was on crooked, not enough elevators—had to wait 10-15 minutes each time to go up or down, stained carpet in room, white stained marks on couch, the breakfast was completely understaffed and had to eat at tables with dirty dishes on them…we travel at Christmas every year and expect to be patient and wait but this was extreme. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

My stay at this hotel fell far below expectations. The only positive aspect was the location. Unfortunately, everything else left much to be desired. The room was extremely uncomfortable, with a damaged sofa and worn-out furniture that clearly needed replacing. The air quality was terrible due to an overwhelming amount of dust, which made it difficult to breathe. The lamps were also covered in dust, and the room lacked proper lighting, adding to the discomfort. The shower was disgusting, with visible mold that made it feel unhygienic. The toilet would not flush properly, requiring multiple attempts to empty it. Additionally, the closet door in the room was broken, further contributing to the poor state of the accommodations. The jacuzzi turned on by itself during the night, creating an unpleasant noise that disrupted our sleep. The bed was not a king size as advertised, and the mattress was old and in urgent need of replacement. The air conditioning unit was excessively loud, making sleep nearly impossible. The lobby is currently under renovation, and construction dust is noticeable throughout the property. There are only two elevators, which are very slow, so be prepared to wait. To top it off, we had to request clean towels because there were not enough provided for our stay. Adding to the disappointment, when I checked out, I was given a final invoice. However, seven hours later, I received another invoice with additional charges for services I did not use.

I was there for two nights, they did not clean the room for the second night stay I had to call them on three separate occasions to come and fix things 1. Thermostat in the room was not working, 2. The jacuzzi as it coming on 3. Since they did not clean the room I needed towels and water The breakfast that was included was not the standard of the Hilton hotel food was old and coffee was the worst I have ever tasted The evening snack and drinks was designed to get tips for the staff. We sat there for 20 minutes before any of the staff recognized that they should come and serve us The 9th floor garbage can by the elevator was over flowing all three days with no one bothering to clean - not that it was overflowing with new garbage, it wasn’t cleaned for three nights so no one could possibly add any more garbage to it Any way overall experience was not bad hence the reason for 3 star

We were upgraded for free from a queen to a king which we were obviously v grateful for. When we got to the room, it was v basic, kitchen area, separate bedroom and sofa turns into a bed. Come bedtime, we call reception for someone to come and turn the sofa bed into a bed for the kids and we are told to do it ourselves. After four times of asking someone reluctantly came up to make it. Make the lights go out, the truth comes out. I always have a habit of scanning the room for mosquitoes and other bugs in the room to keep the kids safe. The pics will reveal what I found. Cobwebs all round the room in the corners which you can only see with a flashlight. Not a great experience overall and definitely disappointing since it’s a Hilton property. Didn’t even stay for breakfast, left at 7am.

When we were at happy hour there was a mouse that ran under our table. It made us very nervous to be in your dining room. The waitress gave us one round of free drinks. I feel we should have had something taken off our bill.

Staff were all great! Room was odd, a kitchenette with zero dishes or silverware, double bed billed as a “queen”, single old hard noisy chair. Hotel had terrible odors wafting through the ventilation system during the first two days of our stay. Happy hour was great with the drink coupons and all the great vegetables to munch on! Breakfast needed more options, especially for vegetarians, and please don’t fry the potatoes so much they’re like cubed French fries! Overall, an okay experience, but a shout out to every staff member we met, you were all awesome.

Yes, but had no whirlpool tub didn’t work, 10:15 in morning couldn’t open door, had to go back and wait for elevator twice cause of numerous check out, to re activate card, was almost late for church service at 11 am, 5-7 happy hour was good, Sunday morning sucked

The suites were great...very modern, comfortable, and spacious. The cost of a studio suite with a den, kitchen, queen size bed, whirlpool bathtub and separate shower, was similar to a typical hotel room at a typical hotel. Fantastic deal!

Great location, within walking distance of all the main sights. Slightly dated suite with a good kitchenette but no cutlery or crockery! Breakfast was okay, the staff worked hard to fill everything up but guests were pushing and shoving others to get food, horrible. A one way system would work better. Overall, a great place for one night.

The location was great—very close to Old Montreal and walkable to many attractions. However, our overall experience was disappointing. We stayed three nights in three rooms. One room had a broken lamp and a window that wouldn’t close. When reported, the hotel simply added it to a long list of needed repairs. The facilities were dated and poorly maintained. More concerning, medication went missing from one of our rooms. Despite reporting it twice and requesting to speak with housekeeping, no action was taken. A manager only spoke with us when we mentioned escalating the issue during checkout. We proceeded to report it to Hilton head office due to the lack of concern from hotel staff. Sadly, while the location is excellent, we will not stay at this property again.

Great location. Are used to stay at another hotel, but I really like the breakfast that is included and the central location. Staff has been very helpful and friendly. This includes the concierge, who has been exceptionally helpful. Also the desk personnel. The. Food staff and cleaning staff have also been very helpful and friendly. I consider this an exceptional hotel and I am seeing it as my homebase when I go to Montreal

The place is great accessible in everything walkable to Notre Dame Basilica but the service of the staff is kind of poor we asked for a blanket, and extra pillows and a cover for sofa bed and it takes for them for 1 hour and a follow up call to deliver it.

Excellent bedding, service and amazing food! The couch, however, was worn out and uncomfortable & the sitting chairs too. Walking distance to the port & china town was convenient but there's a huge homeless community across the street and around the corner from china town that is very sad to witness in such a large historic part of the city.

Stayed for 3 nights. Daily maid service did an excellent job. Loved the parking located right in the same building worth the extra money for the convenience. To note:this area has many upscale hotels but be careful if you are walking towards Chinatown 2 blocks from this hotel it routes you through a homeless encampment/soup kitchen that felt very dangerous even during the day. But it’s easy to avoid if you don’t follow gps. Definitely planning on staying here again.

The hotel was good. They did call out made to order breakfast as a bonus, but it was really just a Buffett with an omelet station. A little disappointed. The second day they also pushed the breakfast to a conference room to prioritize a private event. There was no seating offered so we had to take it back to the room. That was upsetting.

O hotel é simplesmente incrível e extremamente bem localizado. Conseguimos conhecer muitos pontos de Montréal a pé. Ele fica praticamente ao lado da Catedral de Notre-Dame e conta com bastante comércio, restaurantes e serviços nas proximidades, o que facilita muito a estadia. O restaurante do hotel é excelente, com ótima qualidade, e todos os funcionários foram sempre muito atenciosos, educados e prestativos. O quarto é incrivelmente espaçoso, confortável e bonito; o único detalhe é que achei a temperatura um pouco fria, mas nada que comprometa a experiência. Um dos grandes destaques da estadia foram os drinks gratuitos oferecidos diariamente pelo hotel: dois vouchers por pessoa durante a estadia, o que fez toda a diferença e tornou a experiência ainda mais especial. O café da manhã também é muito bom, variado e saboroso. Foi tudo perfeito! Com certeza me hospedaria novamente se voltasse a Montréal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Convenient hotel with a guest laundry and big rooms. A bit old and could use some update but overall ok. The breakfast was really bad though. Not many fresh fruit, no plain yogurt. Felt very basic and US-like (fat, super sweet, and unhealthy). Not much care for the environment either (regular distribution of plastic bottles for example). All these things could be easily improved.

Location is good. Breakfast was terrible - nothing much there to begin with; finished items not re-filled; need to wait ages for omlette station; no cutlery, dirty cutlery; just choatic with an unmanageable crowd. We only ate there on our first day (despite breakfast being included); spent lots of money having breakfast in nearby hotels*/cafes on other days. We will be seeking compensation from this so-called 4-star hotel. *breakfast at neighbouring hotels such as Intercon, Westin etc. was so peaceful. A/C super noisy; cannot sleep. Sofa-bed gives you backaches. Old mattresses on all beds. Rooms not clean. Some staff were apologetic - they're aware of the issues and tried to fix. I would not recommend anyone goes there at least until the constructions are done. Extremely disappointed as a family of four who were looking forward to a lovely and relaxed stay.
