Suburban Studios Harvey - New Orleans

This property was able to accommodate my family & I in a time of need, Staff were kind enough to let us view a room before actual payment to make sure the rooms are up to our liking. Rooms where clean, ac units worked, sheets were clean, nice tv’s mounted on the walls ! Rooms came with two aisle stovetops, mid size refrigerator with freezer ! Nice lights in room ! This is right next to a Convenience store and taco spot ! Definitely recommend and super affordable on Hotels.com !

Check in guy with glasses was polite even when seeing him in crossing. Now they have you come to the front desk for extra towels and wash clothes I didn’t mind stayed 3 days . But I go to get them what I find very rude housekeeping behind the desk getting their things for the day NOT ONE gestures one second let me get somebody knowing the lady was over on the kitchen because they were there talking to her when I was over there. I didn’t know she was the same person doing the desk. At least 4 walked through talked to each other while seeing me stand there over 5 minutes waiting for someone until I annoyingly said EXCUSE ME!!! It was hard getting towels and wash clothes knowing me and my kids were staying multiple night and NO I didn’t have a do not disturb on my door.

Excellent location everything convenient

The hotel didn’t seem very safe. The person next to us was always outside half naked. There was no hot water at any point. The sink faucet was rotting and falling off. There were three other customers complaining about there room conditions before we could even check in. I’d rather sleep in my car.

The hotel was what you would expect of 2 stars. Floors were dirty, staff was ok, breakfast was inconsistent and out of a lot of items daily. The hotel seems to get a lot of local traffic looking for a night to stay with local women. They’ll take your payment right away but you will wait more than a week to get your deposit refunded. I would spend the extra money and get a little better hotel.
