The stay itself was overshadowed by serious issues with billing and pre-arrival handling. Multiple large pre-authorization holds were placed on my card during the free cancellation period, despite the booking clearly stating “pay at the property” and deposits due at check-in. These holds are still blocking a significant amount of my available funds for over 10 days and caused unnecessary stress immediately before arrival. Communication from the property and Hotels.com was inconsistent, and clear explanations or policy citations were not provided when requested. While no funds were ultimately charged, the handling of pre-authorizations and lack of transparency made the experience extremely frustrating and disruptive. This is not what I expect from a confirmed booking, particularly for international travel.

A comfortable stay in EVERY way. Our room was lovely, the location was accessible to so many shops, restaurants and places to see, and the staff - particularly Gabriela!! - were warm and kind. We would recommend Casimir to anyone staying in Paris.
