Everything about the hotel was perfect! The room was large and comfortable, including the bed (loved the pillow options), and the staff were very attentive, especially David, who ensured all our needs were taken care of! Irina surprised us on day 2 with a bottle of champagne and treats as we were celebrating our anniversary. And thanks to Expedia VIP, our valet parking was free. The neighborhood was clean, quiet and safe. Also not too far of a walk to shopping. Oh and they have a very nice gym, which we didn’t get to use as we hoped as our time in Vancouver was short! We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit!

A really lovely boutique hotel. Chic design, warm, friendly staff, great restaurant, luxurious amenities, and of course a central location in Vancouver's downtown. I want to call out for special mention the staff who accommodated us in the VIP Lounge when our flight was rescheduled. It was much nicer to wait there than at the airport. One area for improvement: the bathroom sink is too small even as it extends several inches past the edge of the countertop. Water is not contained in that area, and the faux wood cladding shows years of water damage. This is a design problem more than a maintenance problem. Also, I encourage the Loden to dispense with travel-size plastic bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc., and to embrace more eco-friendly options.

We loved everything about this hotel: the location, stylish and comfortable room, beautiful view, exceptional welcome from the staff, and attention to detail such as a bottle of iced lemon water and little treats by our bed each night. We reserved bikes for a ride to Stanley Park - free to guests of the hotel.

Klasse für einen Zwischenstopp. Vorab angefragte Wünsche wurden erfüllt, es wurde stets Wasser zur Verfügung gestellt und im Zimmer war es sehr ruhig. Das Fenster lies sich einen kleinen Spalt öffnen für etwas Frischluft. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und informativ. Die Schränke hatten leider etwas wenig Ablagefläche aber damit konnten wir 3 Nächte leben. Sauberkeit war top!

Our room at the Loden Hotel, Vancouver was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Having traveled all over the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels, cleanliness is top on my list - the Loden exceeded my expectations! Not only is the service excellent, but the room is spacious, impeccable, quiet and comfortable. I would classify this as a luxury boutique hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. If you need a taxi, it's there in 3 minutes. The restaurant is excellent (though a bit loud) and the location is central to getting anywhere with a short taxi ride or a 20 minute walk. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything we like in a city hotel. We especially appreciated the location, that we could bring our dog, and it had a good fitness center. Team is fantastic and our corner room was nice. Our dog loved looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows. We hadn’t planned at eating at the attached restaurant but we did and enjoyed our meal. Overall, stay was great and would love to return.

Really excellent experience. I stayed in one of their corner rooms... Light and bright, well appointed, excellent bed…they brought me extra pillows as I requested. Bedside water and a treat set up every night. Engaging, helpful, friendly staff. Great suggestions from concierge…they reached out to me prior to arrival to begin delivering service. Solid connected restaurant.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The room was quiet and comfortable. That being said, the sound insulation was not adequate. While this did not happen often nor late into the night, we can clearly hear the conversations of our next door neighbor and when they go out/coming into their room. We checked into the hotel after 8pm and gotten a wheelchair access room. So, the bathroom was big, but we didn't find any towel hook/bar to hang our towels. On the environmental side, this hotel provided the small disposable bodywash/shampoon as opposed to the larger refillable ones and didn't give us options to op out of daily changing of sheets and towels. Overall, the room was comfortable, the service was great. Some minor changes could really bring this stay to a "10" as rated by many users.

We went to Vancouver for the first time for my wife’s birthday. Hotel Loden called a few days before our stay and asked if we needed anything. I let them know it was my wife’s birthday and they were so incredibly helpful in making it special. They went all out on not only on the things we paid for but they made us feel so pampered in the attention they gave us and their thoughtfulness. Multiple hotel employees wished my wife happy birthday on just seeing her! There wasn’t anything we needed or wanted that the staff didn’t take care of. This was the best hotel staff we have ever encountered! We will definitely always stay here when we come to Vancouver. On top of the staff, the hotel is beautiful, the restaurant is too notch with a great bar and the location is perfect. I would give more stars if I could.

Staying at Loden Hotel was an amazing experience. From the moment we drove up to the hotel (we had VIP which provided free valet) to checkout, we had exceptional service from every staff member we came in contact with. The bed was the most comfortable we have had in a hotel, and the linens were incredible. The room was bright, clean and modern with high quality ammenities (Dyson hair dryer)). Special thanks to the concierge/front desk staff who secured hard-to-get restaurant reservations for us. A 5-star experience!

Staff at the Loden were VERY accommodating. Renovations being done on the upper levels of the hotel resulted in some intolerable noise. The hotel addressed the issue immediately - upgrade to another room away from the renovations. The hotel staff made the experience excellent.

Now one of my favorite hotels. The people who work there are the best. They are genuinely very nice and friendly - all of them. The hotel Is beautiful and the atmosphere is very nice and even the restaurant was excellent. I loved the atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant. But, I have to say, the people who work there are tremendous. I’m 58 and well-traveled. Collectively, they are amazing in every regard and that will stick with me forever. I’ve never had help from such amazing people before.

We arrived at 10:00am this morning after getting off a cruise. The walk from the cruise port is walkable, but on a slight hill. It took us about 15 minutes walking briskly. Once we arrived, we were greeted by two very kind staff members. David assisted us, checking us in. Since regular check-in is not until 15:00 (3:00pm), he was kind enough to store our bags including backpacks. He furthermore offered us water and/ or coffee that is readily available in the lobby. David also offered a map of Vancouver including interesting sights and restaurants around to make our trip more enjoyable. He ensured us to call once the room was ready and assured us that our bags would be moved as soon as the room is ready. Our room was ready at 14:45 (2:45pm). When we got back to the hotel, we were informed that we were upgraded from a Signature Corner Room to the Aura 1-Bedroom Suite. The Suite (1201) on the 12th floor is exquisitely furnished. We are thrilled to be staying in this wonderful Suite at the Loden Hotel. Featuring a coffee bar with seating area, TV and sofa sectional, an amazing bathroom and comfortable king-bed in a gorgeous bedroom, this suite truly has everything one could ask for. However, it is the small touches that make the stay truly special. The Loden offers a pillow menu, paying special attention to comfort and relaxation. The staff is incredibly attentive, assisting with ice for beverages or assisting with choosing coffee at the Nescafé coffee maker, and more.

Central location close to Coal Harbour seawall, lots of shopping and numerous great dining options. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was on par with a 5 star hotel. Valet parking was efficient. Even though the Loden is in the middle of downtown, Melville is one of the quieter streets and the hotel itself is very quiet. In-room Nespresso coffee and a small daily snack were nice touches. We had dinner at the adjacent Tableau Bar Bistro on our last evening and wished we had tried it sooner. It was so good! We will be back.

The hotel was in a great location, a couple of blocks from the harbor. Very attentive and kind service. Very quiet hotel. Very nice rooms and bathrooms, elegant, clean and comfortable. We only had a sliver of a view of the water from our room, but overall a great stay!

Without doubt the most welcoming friendly hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The staff are amazing, helpful, friendly and genuinely interested in chatting to you. They bring round water in the evening and a chocolate or biscuit treat. Room cleaning is immaculate. Room service excellent. The restaurant next door Tableau Bar Bistro has equally friendly staff and service, great for breakfast, drinks or evening meal!
