Great place to stay when going to Zion. Zion is only 30 minutes away and we stayed two nights. Great price point— we paid $119 for two nights. Not fancy but big room and clean. Families run business— the owner was friendly and helpful. Had a working hot tub and pool, perfect for a hot day and recovery from the long hikes. I totally recommend staying here.

Great place and staff. Stayed here 2 years in a row as I like to drive OHV trails in the area. Plenty of parking for trailers. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this place at a reasonable price.

The beds were comfortable. There was mold in the shower. The worst thing was that the front desk clerk entered our room without knocking when my wife was there alone. He used a key, and the security lock for night did not prevent him from entering. He apologized, but that was totally unacceptable.

We found a dead cockroach on the floor by the desk. The bathroom fixtures were in extremely poor condition. There was a stale odor in the room, especially in the bathroom. The tub faucet was hanging out of the wall which we put back together. There were candy wrappers in the night stand and dresser drawers.

We liked the fact that this property was close to zions. The pool and hot tub were heated and made it nice for a chilly evening swim. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast. We were very grossed out at how dirty the floor was. The carpet needs to be cleaned. It made our feet black. And out shampoo and conditioner was a reused container.

The carpet could use a good cleaning and more than just vacuuming. The sink has a crack in it. The shower was so hard to pull on. I had a wrapper on the nightstand and it disappeared due the night. Pretty sure we heard a mouse nibbling on the wrapper.

Upon arrival I asked front desk person for recommendations re dinner and since we had just hiked, where to get a beer. He proceeded to give a long religious lecture on the evils of beer. Terrible! They left a tip envelope in the room for cleaning but during our 2-night stay there was NO cleaning!

The room was clean, the bedding clean and comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave and coffee maker in the room, as well as complimentary breakfast, which I didn't have. The little shampoo & conditioner & lotion bottles were recycled, refilled from bulk, showing a little wear on the labels. The soaps were new. Very noisy heater/AC unit, noisy fridge. Walls thin enough to hear what the neighbors are saying. Worth the $42 I paid for a clean, comfortable night and the ability to make myself a simple breakfast in the room.

Breakfast isn't until 7a.m. so either bring your own food, drive back 1-2 miles for fast food, or eat at the hotel but risk being late to park at the Zion Visitor Center (in high season). No shower wand, but room was big with lots of sink space. Good A/C, although a bit noisy. Comfy bed.

It was conveinient for a one night stay. However, the interaction with staff started off wrong. I entered the building to check in and noone was there, there was a bell that stated to ring the bell. I proceeded to ring bell and wait. Noone came, rang a second time, noone came, rang a third time, all within 5 minutes - ish. Staff came out of the bathroom and angrily directed to me that he heard the bell, I proceeded to tell him I did not know that he was in the bathroom and that it was unintentional, but he was very abrasive moving forward, aggressively giving me check-in paperwork to fill out and proceeding to attend to the man who entered after me. I did walk out with paperwork to take a breather, and to get the plates, came back in and he appeared to calm a bit and asked the man to hold on while he finished checking me in. In the morning I did go to the breakfast spot - Same staff - This time he appeared a lot friendlier and patient with me. I have mixed feeling about the stay. The room - Floor needed to be vacuumed. Top bedding was stained, but the sheets and second blanket appeared clean. Overall - 3/5 for me - unsure I would stay again given the chance.

Thank you to the staff that was working the desk at check in. Our adult son had a long travel day and really wanted to check in. The computer system was down, so the reservation couldn’t be processed. The gentleman went ahead and gave our son the room, but had him come back later once the system was running again to finalize everything.

Expedia hadn't sent the booking through to the property but the manager happily accommodated us, and even gave us an upgrade to the family suite as there were no more rooms available of the type we'd booked. Close to local restaurants and a nice drive through to Zion NP.

I left a day early and Expedia refused to refund me. I caught the room service man in my room while I was gone even though I specifically asked for no room service since I’m a female traveling alone with dogs. Thank god I had my dogs with me or they could have attacked him or gotten out. I wasn’t offered a refund from this hotel or Expedia. I’d stay away from both of these companies, they breached my privacy and safety and neither are willing to be accountable for the situation. I’ll be reporting this to the BBB unless I receive a refund from either party. I have never been to a hotel and caught staff in my room specifically after I asked for no one to be in there…then they enter while I’m gone…stay away from Expedia and Rodeway Inn if you’re a single female that wants privacy.

To be honest, we got in at 1 am and the front desk was closed. The night manager got to the window in a few minutes. We were put in a dirty room. The beds had been slept in and there were beer cans on the counter. We had to carry our bags up the stairs, no elevator. The new room they gave us was downstairs so we had to carry our bags down the stairs. Not an easy feat when you are 75. I would not stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Location was good, about 30 minutes from Zion. There were also many restaurants and stores like Walgreens and Walmart nearby. There are some nice lakes close but there’s a day use fee. The room was okay and had everything we needed. We liked having a little table with two chairs to eat at. There was also a mini fridge with a little freezer and a microwave. This was nice to have because we ordered pizza and had leftovers for lunch the next day which saved us some money. The pool was closed during our stay which was unfortunate because it was so hot while we were there. The front desk said they had a sister property nearby where we could use the pool but we chose not to. We would definitely stay at this property again!

I've stayed at a number of low-budget, "cheapest available" places on Hotels.com recently. Some have been really awful, and one was so unbearably bad that I had to leave (and forfeit my payment.) The Hurricane Rodeway is NOT one of those disasters. It was the cheapest room available on Hotels.com, but it was perfectly fine. New paint, newish carpet, recentish-bathroom upgrades. The bed was comfortable, the heater worked, the shower was large with good water pressure and the water was hot. And the free breakfast was generous (including waffles!). And the room smelled fine (unlike some of my recent disasters.) It was a little strange that there were no towel racks in the bathroom, but the towels that were stacked on the toilet tank were soft and absorbent. The internet signal was strong. The staff was friendly. If you just need a no-nonsense place to stay that's clean and comfortable, the Hurricane Rodeway will be just right for you.
