It was decent for the price, the rooms were dated, and the mutltiple highways made it quite noisy. Free washer and dryers. Super comfortable beds. Like i said, decent for the price.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The ability to use the washers and dryers for free was wonderful and a surprise bonus! The property is currently under renovations which will be great once completed. There is a foul smell in some areas. The first room we were given had a terrible stench. I am not one to complain and attempted to make it work. I even opened the windows to air it out, but it did not help. There were stains on the carpet and the room in general seemed to be one of the ones that needed renovations badly along with the smell of the entire 2nd floor. The second room on the third floor was much better! The pool area was okay, but my family and I couldn't fully enjoy. This hotel seems to be a property that is housing many male contract workers. Our first day there, we took the kids down to enjoy the pool after all the traveling we had done in the car. There were men there staring at us the entire time. As a woman and mother, I did not feel comfortable at all. Later we realized the men would all gather there to hang out after work daily. We did not return to the pool area the rest of our time there. I would not return to this location again.

This property seriously needs to be updated. Had to get a chair for the desk. There was no ice machine and the freezer only had 1 ice tray. So no water jug for the first two days, it took that long to get enough ice. I love Candlewood Inns and Suites. But this one, this one needs some help.

Not the perfect experience, but extremely close. Facility is under remodel so there was a lot of clutter with furniture crates coming and going, and the pass fan didn't work, but staff was super friendly, courteous, and professional and accommodated all our concerns including a swivel fan for the bedroom.

Hotel was under construction the front desk representative said it washotel.com responsibilities to let us know that hotel under construction. So then we could make our decision to stay. The elevator out of service but we were still booked on second floor…. I told her my husband’s a senior citizen we cannot go upstairs. She said it was the only available room because we booked through hotels.com. So my husband & I walked up to second floor then we found our the keys didn’t work. The door doesn’t work. The heater doesn’t work.etc……

My suite was on the third floor but elevator was not working and I had my 85 yr old mom so we had to take a smaller room on first floor with small double beds. The room looked dirty, beds were a mess, it looked like someone had been in there but the lady said nothing else was available and we were tired. She says the people walked in and out with baby but that the floor was too dirty to let baby crawl so they left. I had Lysol and wipes and had to clean it myself. The next day I had to explain this in order to get my room cleaned because they said we didn’t get a room clean with a two night stay but after explaining all this and they looked at some notes, I got it cleaned the next day at 5:00 pm! I’ll never stay here again, this was always my favorite place but this was not a good experience at all. It needs updating too, things are really stained we put a towel on the recliner just to sit because it was so dirty. Very dissatisfied!

I really liked staying here its located by the highway, and had a great pool, however the property is currently under renovations(we could not hear the noise) and there was signs that local unhoused people are a nuisance. We had no breakin to our vehicle but they were digging out trash and down the street there people sleeping on sidewalks.

First of all some of the rooms are infested with dog fleas! The elevator broke! The floor was sticky and slippery probably because they do not mop properly.The whole Hotel has a bad dog odor. Saw a lot of mold all over. I will not stay here again even if they would give it too me for free. I’m still itching from the flea bites I got last night. All they told me was so sorry for the inconvenience. That they would fumigate.

Hotel was dirty, and smelly room was not very clean. Tub was covered in rust underneath kitchen sink was a bucket collecting water and smelled horrible on the back of the bathroom door was a T-shirt from a prior stay of someone else. Do not recommend this hotel whatsoever.

Hotels.com makes my check-in go great and fast. This hotel lacked in cleanliness. It smelled like mold and mildew. My shower had rust around the tub. My cousin had dirty/filthy shower curtains. I have stayed at plenty of other Candlewoods but have not stayed at one in CC TX. The price per room was affordable but I would have stayed elsewhere had I known the conditions..

First room we got smelled like mold and had visual mold all over fixtures. Contacted hotels.com & front desk and they did move us to a new room where the mold smell wasn't as bad but still had mold present but not as bad... that room microwave didnt work but they did get us a mini small one to use... lots of broken and stained things... the tub had rust all in it on the tub and walls... carpet stained... stove took forever to heat up and actually cook with and we paid for kitchenette. was not happy with the quality for what we paid and would not go back. not staff's fault... the place is outdated and needs to be completely gutted and redone

For an IHG property I expected a ton more. The carpet had missing pieces and massive stains. The elevator smelled of mold. The bathtub was rusted all over and the floor of the tub was so worn out(did not shower because of this). Fridge in room had stains on the outside. There was a clear plastic elastic ties on the smaller alarm. Have pics if anyone wants to see. Complete disaster. Left after first night of two.

This hotel met my needs at an affordable price. Everything in the unit worked, but the unit was not especially clean. Rust in the bathtub, which also was slippery. No screen on the window or kitchen ventilation, in other words, no fresh air.

This was the wordy place for over $100. We entered the girl was on the phone didn’t say wait a moment - we waited 10 minutes Finally got checked in only to walk to a broken elevator elevator button. We took the staircase which had an emergency exit with no alarm and the hodge was broken in half! The door was wide open! We enter the room, only to find out there is a dirty towel that’s hanging off the faucet. Dry btw, brown smudges around. Mold on the caulked walls, rotted wood floor under sink, oil splattered all over the kitchen wall, over head light not workin not vacuumed, q-tip behind dresser, the shutters were screwed inyo ceiling and flew off when we tried closing the m. This was unprofessional, unpleasant, and the most disgusting place we have ever stayed in. I want a refund

The staff was wonderful and our room suited our purposes. However, they are currently undergoing renovation, and the old rooms really need attention. We saw a few roaches, but they came and sprayed, which helped. Our biggest issue was there was minimal air conditioning in the bedroom. We had a suite with a separate bedroom, and rather than having an air conditioner or even a fan, there was a dinner plate size hole covered by a vent where the AC was just supposed to waft in from the other room. It was in the 100s in San Antonio, so it was insufficient to keep that room cool.

I’ve stayed here multiple times. This time was by far the worst. I love the location of this hotel. The room was very warm despite our thermostat being on 60. The soap dispenser was empty. Room smelled musky.

The staff is very friendly! But, this property needs some TLC. The first room the tv didn’t work. The second room the refrigerator didn’t work. The 3rd room was ok… although a little tired and worn out.

There is no AC in in 1 bedroom suites. Just a small hole with a fan trying to circulate the air. Tub was rusty and there is a $200 deposit if you live in town and are just wanting to get out of the house for a night but overall the rooms are very clean.

The only issue we had was that I had booked a suite, bed with a sofa bed. When it was time for bed we went to set up the sofa couch, no bed, just a regular couch, we call down they were trying to charge us for a roll out bed. We fought to get moved into a different room since it is what I initially paid for.

We had a reservation for a one bedroom suite with a sofa bed. Upon checking in and going to the room there was not a sofa bed in our room. Going down to front desk the clerk was cleaning the pens and I let her know we did not have what we reserved and while she made NO eye contact with me simply said that’s all we have we are booked. So basically the extremely poor customer service coupled with making a reservation that do not keep makes this my worst ever experience at a hotel. Perhaps it would have been more bearable had the clerk acted like she cared.

The reservation made on Expedia was not found when we got to the hotel. Because we has a confirmation, the accomodaded us with a room for the duration, which was great, but to be told you dont have a reservation is a little unnerving. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. The bed was the best i have slept in at a hotel in years! I need this bed at home! I forgot to ask before i left, but i wanted to check the type of mattress, lol. I have back issues, and drive for 6 hours to get there, so the bed was a HUGE first impression! Our room, as well as the hotel were clean and tidy. The staff were all respectful and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. I love that they have a room with items you can borrow, such as games, appliances, and such; makes for a better stay if you dont have to go buy a waffle maker or toaster oven! I would gladly stay again the next time i am in Corpus Christi!

My wife and I had an event at 3pm. I called to see if we could check in before 3 which was the check in time. They were fully booked , so there was no guarantee. When we arrived at 2pm, we were greeted by a very friendly young lady and informed us that our room was ready. It was a great relief and we made it to our event on time.

The staff was nice but the room had an odor & the water pressure was very low. It didn’t feel clean. There was a $50.00 early checkin fee. We checked in an hour half early. I’ve never paid for early checkin at any other hotel before so that was surprising to me. I personally would never stay here again.

The employee that checked me in charged me twice the $75 deposit fee. The entrance door was squeaky, the toiled bowl was black around the rim, the refrigerator was loud, the bathtub needs to have caulking around it was rusty. Horrible

This property is being refurbished as we speak. As with so many hotels these days, they are ripping out the carpet and replacing with vinyl "wood" planks. I prefer the carpet. Nevertheless, this property is very convenient, clean, quiet on the back side, good ac, hot water, good tv, friendly staff, comfortable mattress.

When we arrived there was other people already complaining of no hot water and some no lights. When we got to our room it smell so bad like old floors or moldy I had to go buy scents. The restroom has stains of rust. Only think good so far was front desk lady was very nice and shopping center close by Not worth 134 what I paid and 75 deposit
