Wyndham Garden Midland

This was a great property for the time we spent there. The staff was friendly and the parking was easy. The restaurant was a delicious surprise as well.

Key didn't work after I used it 10 minutes prior. One elevator didn't work at all and I got stuck in the other one. Whole place smelled like diesel and oilfield. Paid for 3 nights didn't stay any of those. Checked right back out lost my money and had to pay for another 3 nights at a different hotel.

The hotel was overall pretty good. Elevator was not working properly, we went to go swimming in the morning and they said it would be 2 hours before we could get in.

Loved the warm indoor pool. Housekeeping everyday to change my sheets. Very welcoming staff.

Was not in a good part of town, looked nothing like the pictures. Pool was out of order. Overall not a good experience, Would not stay again.

I liked the indoor, heated pool. The elevator is a little weird though. Went up to the 3rd floor (where my room was) but the doors didn’t open. It just went back down to one.

Pool was not operable. Breakfast was not available Saturday morning. Building is very run down. Oilfield hotel is the best way to describe.

Gross and dirty toilet so low and towels look dirty and yellow. Iron doesn’t work and when I asked for replacement and towels they were never brought up.

The room was so small for a double. Very dirty inside room, our hallway smelled like Marijuana other hallway smelled like rotted stuff & mildew the photos on website looked very nice but in person totally opposite except main entrance area & pool once you start down hallway to rooms the disgust begins also elevator not work other elevator kept opening & closing while we were inside of it but staff members were nice at least checked out not long after checking in went to another hotel

Not very clean. Corners behind doers were clearly not cleaned. Restroom toilet very dirty

The bed was not comfortable. It sagged in the middle and caused back pain. The room had several cockroaches scurrying around. The bathroom was missing the hair dryer. The shower was dirty. The breakfast was good tho!

One room had someones underwear hanging in the closet and a cottonball in a bed. The bathrooms were little and the breakfast was mediocre.

Had checked in and 3 hours later a man tried to enter my room. Said the front desk gave him a key. Our key had to keep being reset. Bathroom was dirty. Had housekeeping clean and she still didn’t really clean the bathroom

I asked that the room be cleaned, they remade the bed that had soil sheets

The one stay I had to get moved to a none adjoining room due to the noise from the next room through the door. Doors are very thin and seem to echo as the people were not loud you could just hear them through the doot

Clean hotel. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable for the person in there (and they didn't weigh very much either). The location was nice, and close to where we needed to be.

We stayed in a handicapped room and it was clearly one that they had tried to adapt from an existing room. The bed was way too high for a handicapped person; the toilet was way too low and made a loud whistling noise; No USB outlets for charging devices...an old hotel that was just sort of "hanging on".

Had a very nice stay here, only problem I had was the fridge froze all my drinks and they exploded. Other then that the stay was great, nice rooms, comfy beds and excellent ac system…

Stay was very good. I had to look through a lot of reviews before I picked the Wyndham hotel. Midland hotels seem to have a lot of issues in their reviews. My brother stayed at a supposedly nicer hotel than this and was very disappointed. For this hotel it was clean, the rooms were large, it came with a microwave refrigerator and coffee pot (sorta), and the bathroom was clean although rather small. They seem to keep the place up the best they can and all in all it was pretty nice. Price compared to what I got was very good. I say sorta on the coffee pot because I could not get it to work, however I did take it down to the front desk and they took care of it and even made me a cup of coffee. I did not eat at the restaurant so I cannot say anything there. They did serve a nice breakfast with a lot of choices from waffles to eggs and either bacon or sausage. There was juice and yogurts. Here's the small convenience store located right around the corner about two blocks away. The grounds were all well kept. There is an indoor pool and I did use it but cannot say it was the best pool I've ever been to. If you're staying in Midland it seems like you have to read through the reviews. I did see two elevators, one was out of service the other one worked. There was a nice maker also and it seemed to be working all the time. Very happy with the stay, room was clean bed was comfortable and it fit the bill for a couple nights.

The executive room (bathroom) is not big enough, with the door being very close to the toilet.

I would stay here again. The main room was large and had a king bed, small seating area, dresser , TV, small refrigerator, microwave, and a flattop table for desktop work. Room had a separate bathroom and tall clothes closets. Mattress was comfortable but pillows were hard/compacted and height was too much for my petite frame; I asked front desk staff for flatter and softer pillows but I guess none were available. The blackout curtains fully covered the window. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent in that they over five nights did not always assure the shower mat towel and facial tissues were present. Both hot and cold breakfast items were available. I lost two items of family value between room and car when checking out. Staff member Jackie was helpful with searching room and parking lot for them. Sadly, the finder has not turned them in. I would stay here again.

Rooms were great and comfortable, the elevators made me a bit nervous but they did what they were supposed to. Check in was easy and so was checking out. Staff of friendly couldn’t ask for a better last minute stay.

Incredible customer service

Started on arrival. Clerk tried to charge me for a service dog, I refused so they charged me a deposit instead. West Texas is in the middle of a great wave, got to the room and air conditioner was set on fan. Air conditioner was never able to cool room for the 3 days we were there Room had a chemical smell. This hotel is nothing more than a man camp and the hotel is ran this way. Owners of this hotel are not concerned with the comfort of their patrons. Don’t let the Wyndham make fool you. Also, I have reported this hotel for the issue with my service dog.

At first my key wasnt working so i had to go back to the front desk and it turns out that my key wasnt working because they tried to give me a room that already had someone staying in it.

The location is great. The place is a bit run down, but it's fine for the price. What really made the trip was the incredible customer service by Jose at the front desk - so courteous, kind, and went above and beyond every time I interacted with him. He is truly a gem!

I was charged an extra hundred dollars that I have not been reimbursed for my deposit hasn’t been reimbursed so I am out $155 for no reason I’ve called twice to ask for management and no call back. I will continue to leave bad reviews until I receive a call back.

Worst experience I have ever had with front desk customer service. Will never book through this site again and will never stay here again.

My son and I were in town staying due to family in the hospital and when I checked in the staff were very welcoming and even pet friendly. We went to our room and there was an issue in the bathroom and they immediately moved us to another room. The front desk clerk was so friendly and sweet giving me directions to the hospital, other shopping stores and just answering any and all questions that I had. There wasn’t really an area for our dogs outside of the hotel but the front desk woman referred us to a dog park that was 5 minutes away from the hotel and it was beautiful. The stay was very comfortable and the breakfast was a good buffet style. Upon leaving and going to check out to turn in my room keys, the same woman was working and gave me her condolences, and you can tell she genuinely meant it. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Easy access to hospital

Surrounding area didn’t seem very safe. Shower water pressure was very low and the tub did not drain well at all. The restaurant was FANTASTIC! We were very impressed with that. The pool was also very big and nice.

Extremely sketchy area. Children sitting on the floor in hallways at 10:00pm on a Tuesday with no adult supervision. Exit doors propped open to parking lot. Lots of people loitering. Etc.

Great location for me.

Loved the hot tub... the room was spacious and cozy. Enjoyed the set up and layout of the room. Enjoyed the fwct that there was restaurants close enough to walk.

Clean bed and bathroom, great breakfast burritos from the kitchen! Partner and I stopped here on our way to Big Bend Natl Park

Quiet ahh, so quiet to get some great rest, comfortable bed. Awesome breakfast. And the best front desk staff. So helpful and friendly. Pool and hottub is a great perk as well! I will definitely be coming back everytime I'm staying in Midland.
