The room itself was nice comfortable bed AC worked good The shower could have had more power but it got the job done. The chair in the room was a little rough faded leather and not quite as comfortable but was good to sit in for an hour. The rooms were clean no complaints there. Cool was nice 5 ft deep The whirlpool was more of a hot tub The Jets did not work like a whirlpool. The outside of the building is in decent condition could have been cleaned up a little bit. The continent of breakfast was really good The waffle machines were nice bagels muffins oatmeal hard-boiled eggs and yogurt You don't usually get that at a super 8 was very happy with that. Next time I come up I definitely will be staying at this super 8 again

Location was good. It wasn’t dirty, just the bathroom toilet was very low, turning on heat/air smelt really bad and didn’t have a cover over radiator coils. Walls are very thin, heard the neighbors phone ringing and thought it was in my room. Pool was nice and clean, complimentary breakfast was good.

Only booked for somewhere to sleep but even at that it was not great. Literally only spent about 8 hours total here and the cost was super high but that's expected for the area. Door to room was open (not shut/locked) upon arrival. Worn, unclean carpets. Hair on the sheets. Had a musty smell. If it wasn't already 9pm when we checked in and we already paid nearly $300 for the room we would've gone elsewhere.

Our room was ok, but the bathroom could have been cleaned better. Also, the door latch on our room was broken off. While it isn't always necessary, it does give you some sense of security while in the room. The clerk and breakfast attendants were very kind.

It needs upgrading. The room we had, the paint was coming off the wall, the ceiling in the bathroom looked moldy. My dad is handicapped and the parking was impossible for him. The door to get into the building was hard to open as well as the door to get into the room.

We did not have housekeeping for 3 days. We put our garabage in the hallway and it was not picked up. I did go to the main office for fresh towels and were given. I don't think I would tay there again.

Got no sleep because the mattress was so uncomfortable. Hallway/stairway was in desperate need of vacuuming. Coffee was horrific, it literally tasted like nothing but cardboard. I would not stay here again.

There was dried urine all over my toilet when i checked in. Window cracked open and unlocked. No cups to drink from. Building dated and old and charging way to much. It is a 80 a night hotel not 230 !

It was OK, but somewhat dirty. All drains in the room were clogged and backing up. The shower drain backed up and dragged black "snot like" materials from the drain trap to the shower floor. Not a nice way to clean up at the end of a day. A simple routine from Roto Rooter would solve that.

Was moved from room to room three times in less than 24 hours due to first nondraining tub, second room shower handle broke and we had to bail water from tub to toilet for 20 minutes until employee came to shut water off, and third room had standing water for 20 minutes until it drained fully after an average 15 minute shower. First room door would not shut completely unless you put your sholder into it and pushed really hard.

We were two friends coming to Ashland for a funeral. The booking screen said, "Studio suite,1 King bed, Sofa bed, top floor". (I took a screen shot.) I sent, in the request, "One description said there a was a sleeper sofa in the suite, but in the property details, it does not list the sofa. We need two sleeping areas. Please put us in a room away from traffic noise. Thank you!) When arrived on 8/22, the gentleman gave us a ground floor unit. I said, no, we had a top floor suite. He accommodated us and put us in a top floor corner suite. I was disappointed to see a vinyl "futon" as my sleeper sofa. I had to go back down to request linens and blanket as there were none. It was a rotten sleep as there was a bar down the middle of the fold down bed where the two sections met. Too slender to sleep on one side or the other. VERY uncomfortable sleep! When I mentioned this at checkout, I was told the sleeper sofas "were on order". I said it should not have been advertised as such and we should have been charged as a single "king bed" room. Bathroom floor was constantly wet and moldy. No idea where the water was coming from. They used king bedding on our queen bed so sheet came off all night. Staff would smoke right at the entrance, and we had to walk through the smoke when we went outside. At one point there were five outside smoking when we were waiting for our daughter. And they used all the chairs so we had to stand. One elderly man was trying to maneuver his luggage through the door. They just stood in the way. And didn't even hold the door for him. So tacky. Other than the night clerk who checked us in, all the other staff we encountered never greeted us at all, and seemed annoyed. Common areas needed attention, and the cigarette butts should be swept up. The whole place just seemed like no one cared.

We had a very awkward experience that could have been very unsafe. We were given a room key to a room that had apparently already been rented out for the night. When we opened the room door, we were shocked to find a couple already in the room in bed. Needless to say, it was a very unpleasant experience for all. We were given a new room with just a simple sorry.

Staff was great. We had a little trouble with the TV for the remote and let the desk clerk know. He was there in minutes and got in going again and gave us some search tips for using the channel guide. Deep Water Grille was a nice walk, (7 blocks one way) and good food. Enjoyed our stay.

The manager that I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and kind. She took time last week to verify everything above my trip and helped me out immensely. If for some reason you are able to give here a bonus for all that she did to put my mind at ease, as I feel she deserves it. She was very busy and helped me out and I really appreciate her time and attention and attitude. Many people are rushed when helping others but she is very people oriented. Kudos to her!

Cody checked us in and was great. Friendly and informative. Greeted me nicely…. He deserves 5 stars. Here are the downfalls. Your pool and hot tub area is worn out. Ice on the inside of the windows and doors. Chunks of ice hanging from them. Switches don’t work right. Bubbles are few and far between. No towels our entire stay. No showers. Broken tiles in the hot tub that are sharp. Tile is caked with scaling. Either replace things or let it go. Gross. Room was clean. Heater worked great and was newer and in perfect shape. Beds were fine. Bathroom was clean and lots of fresh towels. Super quiet. Breakfast is awful. Only decent thing is individual cereal bowls and yogurt. We went elsewhere. Checkin was smooth as silk. Lobby is clean. Parking was easy. I would stay again but not pay 100 for the night. It’s a 70 dollar stay at best.
