When i booked through Expedia - nothing was said about a deposit at the property. The clerk at the front desk wasn’t going to let me check in without paying it. The property is going through renovations, which is very much needed, but the lack of not having trash cans in the room and construction debris still in the floor in a “clean” room along with the shower having dirt on the shower walls with a fan that doesn’t work so everything in the bathroom is wet, and the fact that the bathroom didn’t even have hand soap makes the “deposit” a joke. And for anyone needing to sleep in- construction starts at 6AM on a Sunday. And the elevator is out of order for anyone with a handicap.

Had no idea we booked a hotel under renovation. Upon arrival on August 29, I thought the place was closed. Not being able to enter through the front door was a no for me. Supplies all over the front, side and back of property. The room had a musty, mildew smell, smelly carpet, tub was so dirty and I took pic of black mold spots on the bathroom ceiling. I hope they are doing more than making the outside look nice..really needs a total makeover to the rooms and bathrooms. I spoke with the front desk receptionist and told her that I checked the website and didn’t see anything about hotel under renovation. Her response was, “ I can tell them to add it”. No discounted fees on stay or anything….WE CHECKED OUT THE NEXT MORNING!!!!

This may have been just poor timing but the hotel was going through remodeling, the doors didn’t work due to a card reader issue. The shower curtain allowed water to pour on the bathroom floor but that wasn’t bad as it was a very sticky floor anyway. Just seems to be poorly managed.

The pictures on Expedia’s website we’re not accurate for the room we purchased. We had kids running outside our room late at night nonstop. We used the pull out sofa and it was filthy and stained and things flew when it opened up. I reached out to the front desk and they brought a rollaway, but it was a smaller size and not able to fit everyone. The pool water was completely cloudy. I spoke to Expedia about canceling the following night and they said we were a little too late to cancel.

One major complaint I have about this property is two of the three ice machines were broken on the hottest day of the year so far. So this morning when we checked out, there was absolutely no ice to be had by anyone and there are several people working construction on the highway, not good.

The booking picture online/description and the actual property didn't match. It was suppose to be a king bed with an attached living room, making it the only reason we were willing to book the room in the first place. But it was a single room with a king bed. When I ask the front desk clerk, she already knew the room I was referring to and the posting, claiming that Expedia already knew that the room and pictures/description didn't match but kept the posting up without updating it. When we decided to go to the room, it smelled horrible, like something died a few rooms down and the smell wafted over. The bathroom was pretty bad too, there was a ring of mold in the toilet where the water line was. The front desk clerk was nice, when we told her about the issue, she offered to clean the bathroom and spray to mask the smell. While we ran a few errands, my wife looked up some of the reviews about the hotel and saw that there were frequent complaints of mold at that hotel. That was our final straw to just leave and book a nicer hotel down the street. Very disappointed in my stay and with the misleading room listing.

Overall, it was OK. The condition of the room definitely needed some upgrades. There were scratches on the window like someone has scratched it with the key, the caulking looked unprofessional like someone’s uncle had did it, the bath tub stains in it, but not like it was dirty more like that’s just how the tube looked. There were other small issues that would lead you to believe they don’t often look at the maintenance of the room.

The staff, both front desk and breakfast, were wonderful. Breakfast was very good. The HVAC had issues. The room was too cold when we arrived. The were two seemingly functional controls, one on the unit and one on the wall. I set both of them to a higher temperature, twice, before going to bed. I was cold all night and in the morning, the room was the same temperature as when we arrived, The bed was comfortable but the pillow were too flat. The vanity was too small, just a space around the sink. Great showerhead and bathroom amenities, all Dove brand, included conditioner, shampoo, body wash, hand soap and body lotion.

Old and in need of repair/uodates. Our door did not latch or lock which was not okay for two young girls traveling alone. Light/fan in the bathroom made the worst loud squealing noises. Desk lamp was broken. Carpet was dirty. I’ve stayed at motel 6s nicer than this place.

I arrived at the property at 3:15 . There were several people waiting ahead of me. None of our rooms were ready for check in. I waited a whole hour on the staff trying to figure things out. It seemed to be very chaotic for them. When I arrived in the room. I had to ask for towels. None of the toiletries has been restocked, Floors not vacuumed, phone in room didn’t work and smoke detectors was hanging from the ceiling. They seemed to be short staffed and the poor lady at the front desk was doing the best she could. I won’t be staying here again

Stay wasn’t bad.. my check in was very trash! They initially cancelled my booking saying I didn’t have a card on file after they tried to charge the card on file the day before check in! Then when I got there they were having all type of problems getting the card to go through to the point where my wife basically was about to book elsewhere! I also paid more than what I initially booked the room for.. I personally feel like they cancelled the room to get more money out of people. Other ppl checking in had issues with the amount they were paying as well saying they had a different price than what they were charged.. it was a pretty busy weekend and they knew that so I believe they had a little scheme running so that they could make more money!

The people at the desk was great checking in and out. The part i was disappointed with was the breakfast wasnt that great and my tub had no shower curtain ..1st time ever experiencing that but other than that was fine. I did feel it was pricey for the location and condition of the hotel
