The hotel and staff were lovely. The room was warm and window opened a small amount. Fan was provided. Parking is in the lot across the street, weird to find at first.

The staff was wonderful, friendly and thoughtful. Free parking in the mall parking lot next door is convenient. No on site self service laundry but we found an outdoor laundry at a gas station not too far away.

This is one of the most dog friendly places we have stayed, the check in was quick and friendly, our dog received a welcome pack with instruction on how to behave and where to be, poo bags, treats and even a play ball. The hotel is quite new, so it was fresh, clean and nice, breakfast was great too and very well located near a shopping centre with a big car park that you can use free of charge while staying at the hotel

We checked in and were given a room on the second floor the room was ok apart from the headboard on the bed someone had decided to wipe the contents of their nose all over it which was not acceptable and had not been cleaned off. When i complained and showed the staff the photo of it they did move us to another room which was ok but it had a smaller bed and a sofa bed they did give us a drinks voucher for the inconvenience. In the morning we went down for breakfast all i can say was chaos no hot food and people everywhere tables were not being cleared and nearly everything was running out constantly. Had to move the dirty plates cups and glasses to the side of the table when we sat down to have what breakfast was avaialble. When we went to check out they did apologise about breakfast.

This is a well run hotel with helpful staff. Our room, especially the bathroom, was very clean. The free buffet breakfast included hot and cold items and was well cooked. The hotel's location is ideal for town centre shops and the motorway. Given the reletively low price, I would say that this hotel is great value for money.

Staff was very nice and helpful...good options for breakfast... rooms big and comfy... The only negative that i found was the carpet in the room that was dirthy. If it would've been only myself and hy husband it wouldn't bother me that much but having a baby with me that crawls most of the time......

Check in was a breeze. Reception staff were so friendly. The room we opted for is so spacious with a large and comfortable bed. Shower and toilet were sparkling clean, equipped with all the basic necessities as well. Would highly recommend Holiday Inn Express for a comfortable nights stay 👍

Despite asking for a quiet room, ended up with one overlooking the roundabout, extremely noisy. Room very poorly lit. Room very warm as no A/C, could only open window which resulted in listening to the trucks thundering past. Bathroom extractor not working.

The hotel is right next to a very busy roundabout and through road. Road does quieten down at night but not fully unfortunately, so not ideal when you are looking for a good night’s sleep. I asked for a quiet room upon checking in, specifically no where near the roundabout, but alas, that’s where I was put. Back down to reception to change that, got another room, only a few doors down on the same side, so it didn’t really make a difference. Appreciate the change of room but disappointing not to be put at the other side of the hotel.

Nice size room however no AC, room very hot and noisy if you opened the window. Very nice walk in shower in bathroom with dove toiletries. My son was on sofa bed which he found very uncomfortable. The sofa bed also came right out in front of the desk/dressing table area which was ridiculous. Rooms although a good size needs a better configuration. The main double bed and pillows were very comfortable, however the duvet size did not match the bed size. It was like a single duvet on a double bed! Staff were very polite and friendly. Breakfast which is included in the price was very good.

We stayed here as a family (myself, my husband and our 14-year-old son) and found the Holiday Inn Express in Hamilton to be a great base for exploring the area. It’s perfectly situated for a short 20-minute drive into Glasgow, with lots of amenities nearby including shops, a Vue cinema, Asda, restaurants and even a driving range – all within walking distance. The girls on reception were especially lovely and helpful, offering great suggestions for days out – a special thanks to Ester and Edith(?) for going above and beyond! The room was clean and exactly what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn. We booked a family room, which was ideal overall, although the main bed was a bit on the small side (a standard double, but it felt smaller). We asked about upgrading to a king-size, but unfortunately those rooms are only set up for couples and don’t accommodate the sofa bed. Breakfast was included, which was really handy for starting the day and there was a good enough selection to keep everyone happy. Another bonus was the free parking. The hotel shares a car park with nearby shops and the cinema, but guests can register their number plate at reception to park for free, which was really convenient. While the bed size wasn’t ideal for us in a family room setup, the friendly service and excellent location made it a convenient and pleasant stay.

Very tidy and modern room, everything you need in it for a base for work except plugs. Why is it modern hotels have very few plugs? As it was needed for medical equipment i rang reception and was advised to move the bed to suite myself. Didn't mind that but when i moved it the legs fell off as it was obviously already broken a propped up.

We stay here for a few days, on average 3-4 times a year and some of the regular staff remember us (or perhaps its our dog 🤔), each time we visit. For a big corporate company, the personal touch makes a nice difference and weve always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming.

Loved it for 2 nights in room 217. The reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful as I decided to extend my stay. I was checked in by a lovely lady who helped me join the IHG club and explained everything in great detail. I needed to change room however so Tatiana (reception) booked me a room on the same floor in order that it was an easy change. It was also an empty room so I could just check in at 10am instead of needing to move out and check back in at 3pm. The breakfast staff were really attentive and the breakfast was so tasty and a great variety of products. The cleaning staff were approachable and friendly too. I really enjoyed my stay hence the reason that I extended it.

Room was not ready and we waited for around 30min or so to allow them time to prepare room. Reception most of the times remain unattended. Parking is far away from the hotel just in case if you have luggage to bring. I do not recommend this hotel for more than one night.

The staff were amazing . Going above and beyond on everything. Special thank you to Liz , Esther and Ekky they tried to help when our cab did not come to collect us to take us to a wedding. They were trying to arrange their cars to take us without us asking ! I am also celiac and I was very happy with the selection of breakfast items I could have and that they toasted the bread for me separately in the kitchen. The only thing we did not like was the lack of seats in our queen room to relax on. A big thanks to all the staff for making our weekend special.

Lovely stay, first time in Scotland. Room was very clean and a lovely big bed and also very affordable. Not far from Glasgow, less than 20 minutes on the train and the station is within walking distance. I’m 6 months pregnant and walked to the train station and back no problem! Located right by a number of shops and just across the roundabout from all the food courts. Also easy to get in to Edinburgh from here and free parking with the hotel. Breakfast was included and there was a great selection of fruits, cereals, hot and cold drinks. Was able to take our own food in to the hotel no problem and my partner had a few beers at the hotel bar which were reasonably priced also. Would definitely stay again and all staff were super helpful and really polite 😊

This is a well run hotel with helpful staff. Our room, especially the bathroom, was very clean. The free buffet breakfast included hot and cold items and was well cooked. On Monday, we were told that buffer breakfast is available from 06:30 to 09:30. We went for breakfast at 08:30 only to find no sausages, no eggs and a few bacon and a few things we’re running out. When asked if there was any more, we were told it’s in the oven. We waited for 20minutes, only a few items were brought.No apologies, to me that was a poor service and misreading information (0930 ?). Several people missed the cooked breakfast

The breakfast area didn’t seem to flow well. Eg the milk was a distance away from where you made your tea. The juice was poor, it was like coloured water. The bacon was delicious and the eggs were good. I didn’t try the sausages. The toast seemed to toast on one side only and I had to “guess” what way to put it back in to toast the other side. Wouldn’t put us off coming again, just an observation.

Had a 3 night stay visiting family, overall room was basic but comfortable. Mattress could do with an upgrade. Staff were very helpful and polite. But, breakfast was dismal and almost inedible. Buffet style hot food was badly overcooked or dried out in the warming pans, and not refreshed regular enough. Very limited continental items, had to ask for plates and cups and general food hygiene by staff very poor and not followed.
