Such a great hotel. Staff were super friendly. Gym and room were great. Meals were good too. Breakfast was a little bit chaotic but loads people turned up at once and one staff member was running round so quickly, trying to do everything, but she did appear to be on her own. So fair play to her.

An overnight stay with my kids. The hotel is very clean and pleasant. The room itself was a tad small for 4 of us but sufficient. Not much table space to accommodate laptops, writing or using the kettle (space to keep away from the younger kids). The beds were good. Shower was great though the glass could be expanded as felt it was too small and did not keep the water out well. Plenty of car parking space. The breakfast was good in considering the hotels occupancy rate. But if you were to compare to a busy hotel's breakfast offering you would maybe say it was limited in offering. Only downside was the shaving kits and those types of usual free hotel offerings were chargeable.

Hampton by Hilton did what I expected them to do. Room was clean and fresh. Only wished the bed was more comfortable but I managed to sleep ok. The gym was very small and adequate for a light work out but not suitable for a gym bunny or someone looking for a decent workout. Breakfast is a self serve buffet which seems standard in most hotels these days. Wasn’t a big range of cooked food but it was ok. I was hoping I would be able to sample a proper Scottish breakfast but it wasn’t my second day that there was Scottish sausage available but there were no tomatoes, haggis, tattie scones or fried eggs. There was scrambled eggs on both days I was there but I’m sure they would make fried eggs if asked. All the staff were extremely friendly, hospitable and welcoming. I’d happily stay here again.

Very convenient to all amenities, Breakfast menu needs more variety. Lunch & dinner menu quite good. Staff & management of food not very professional,was very disappointed by their unprofessional behaviour & lack of customer service & info. Only one lift operating & had to share it with dogs. Other than that the sat was good.

They didn’t have basic things like a microwave or ice anywhere on the property for people to use. I asked if we could use a microwave and the answer was no. Also if you wanted a cold drink, you had to ask the bar for ice and would get a glass with 6 ice cubes in it for 6 people. Very disappointed!

Im mot sure why hotels in the uk dont provide wash cloths in the bathroom. I guess im just used to hamptons in the states. This one had no fridge, no complimentary water, no ice machine. We were told our room was upgraded to a handicapped accessible room. Lol. Not sure if thats an upgrade, but thats what we got. Breakfast was always good. And the bar was a nice touch. Wpuld recommend.

The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. I especially appreciated the shower design - kudos to whoever planned it! Finally, someone understood the benefit of placing the water controls at a distance from the showerhead, so you don’t get hit with cold water while waiting for it to warm up. Everything in the room looked new, making the stay very pleasant. The only issue in our room was with drainage - both the sink and shower drained slowly. One improvement the hotel could make is to repaint the parking lines, as they’re nearly invisible. Though there is a big parking lot in front of the hotel, spaces fill up quickly closer to evening time. It was challenging to park at night while trying to leave space for others.

My bathroom flooded up when I showered and requested to change room. I was informed it was fixed just to shower again and everywhere flooded. Using the toilet was a nightmare because I have to step into water and that was irritating. I have used them before and it was amazing but this current visit was a nightmare for me. Staffs are very polite but I was disappointed I didn’t get the help I needed. I took a video of it and unfortunately cannot upload it here.

Room was clean enough other than the bright yellow stains on the mattress cover and contact lens on the sink. Also had a high pitched whirring in the room all night. Went to reception and was told someone would be up but never came. The noise kept us up all night. Staff were nice enough. Breakfast was ok, coffee machine was poor and apple juice just tasted like water. Wouldn’t stay again.

I booked a room with a view of the racecourse I was given the end room on the ground floor and I had a view of a muddy patch with a learner driving school using the waste land. I paid extra for that room and it was a dark room too. Breakfast was an abomination! The breakfast area was filthy with waffle mix all over! The staff obviously couldn’t keep on top of the cleaning- only 1 coffee machine working and also that area was minging too, I didn’t eat a breakfast I had toast as my husband made it for me but had I seen the area first I would’ve declined. I was very disappointed with Hilton hotels on this occasion. When checking out I waited for the manager to ask if everything was ok with my stay but he just looked at me and said yes you can go you don’t need to pay anything….. I then informed him of the problem with the breakfast area he gave the usual oh I’ll speak to blah blah blah but how could he not see this himself?( I wish I’d taken my phone with me and took pictures ) apparently it’s ok to have a breakfast are that’s dirty and looks like a bomb has gone off is ok as it was busy- yuk! I won’t be returning.

Great hotel with spacious and comfortable room. Modern decor. TV was a bit of a pain to control though, remte stopped working several times and couldn't change channels or turn it off until you fiddled with it. Wasn't a huge problem though. Not a large choice of food on the menu in the restaurant but it was quite good. Staff were pleasant and helpful

Excellent one night stay. Room very clean & comfortable, only downside was our room on 3rd floor we were not able to open the window to have any fresh air. The air con was okay to keep the room at a comfortable temperature but it’s not a substitute for fresh air. Breakfast was plentiful although the orange/apple juice dispenser was not working so there was only cranberry juice or water as a chilled selection. The restaurant at breakfast time operates a self clear table system, although most diners seemed to ignore this. At £76 for the night including breakfast it was a great value stay and we would return.

The hotel overbooked our room type which made for a less than ideal check in however the staff working that evening were fantastic in helping best they could dealing with none working systems and having to fix an issue a company created they handled it very professionally though we had to take an accessible room which did feel odd and the fact we hoped no one else would need this during our stay wasn't ideal it would be good for the company to chance it's booking policies. The breakfast was fantastic first place where we had waffles however the waffle pans were not oiled and there was none available so meant they stuck to pans making it messy. There were also only 1 pan on one morning and the staff member working wasn't about so could not sort this however food selection was brilliant.

My 11 year old son was extremely ill overnight and the staff were amazing. They gave us another room and insisted on cleaning it themselves even though we were willing to clean up after him. We were so impressed by the kindness, efficiency and professionalism that the staff provided in a difficult situation for us.

Decent and clean hotel as fairly new. The on-site food offering was not good. Service was bad and long wait inbetween starter and main course (i had to go to the bar to remind them i was waiting for my main, the staff took away my cutlery and napkin and didn't replace them, at no point did anyone ask me if my, meal was ok or if I needed anything else, like cutlery and a napkin!) main course came and it was pretty poor, I would expect a burger to have some relish or sauce on it, especially for £16 and a bit more salad than just a couple of leaves and a slice of tomatoe, it wasn't even busy. If I stay again, I'll be going down to a resaurant in the town, didn't bother with breakfast.

A very pleasant stopover trip to break up our journey. Hotel was convenient, and easy to locate. The room was very clean and have everything we needed. Staff recommended places to eat other than in the hotel and we have a lovely meal at a local Italian restaurant which was a short drive away.

Hmmm. First up. Eat somewhere else! The food is really disappointing. The hotel itself is completely forgettable other than being part of the racecourse - of which there is no real emphasis in the decor. It did a job, but everything about it was non-descript (and this coming from someone who stays in a lot of hotels) aside from the food, which, as I said was rubbish! There are so many better hotels in Glasgow, and honestly I would recommend the additional driving time over staying here.

Room was very clean and comfortable Check in was fantastic no issues at all Breakfast was a total disaster: Tables full off dishes, we had to find a member of staff and ask for a cloth to clean our table before we sat down. The member of staff handed me the cloth to clean it myself. No fresh juice only water, apparently the juice machine had just broke down. Two coffee machines were also broken. This led to a queue of guests waiting for their coffee. Then we had to wait on clean cutlery being brought through from kitchen. There was only one slice of bacon available and no member of staff around to ask for more!!! The hotel and surroundings are lovely but the breakfast let it down badly.
