If you don’t mind your room reeking of mildew this place is for you. The lobby and hallways were over-fragranced like there was a strong air freshener in the HVAC system which was a dead giveaway. Unfortunately all the hotels in Tallahassee were booked for a big football game and parent weekend Sept 25-27 so we had to find something further out of the city. The other issue I had was with the desk clerk on the evening of Sept 26. I am deeply disappointed and appalled by the treatment a guest received at this establishment. While dealing with a diabetic medical emergency involving dangerously low blood sugar, the guest looked for some hot chocolate which was a courtesy item. Finding no packets, she saw some dry sweetened cereal further down the counter. To my embarrassment the man at the desk was incredibly rude, dismissive, and showed a complete lack of empathy or understanding by shaming her in front of me by telling her that she could not take cereal outside of breakfast hours. A hospitality business should provide a safe environment, but instead, I witnessed her being chastised during a vulnerable health situation. No offer of an alternate sugar source was given. I highly recommend staying elsewhere if you value basic decency, safety, and customer service not to mention mildew remediation.

During my stay I had no issues regarding the overall comfort. The breakfast was small but amazing. The hotel was kept very well clean. I did have a minor issue utilizing the TV but a receptionist assisted me promptly so overall stay was very good and I definitely see myself staying again down the road.
