Three out of three pieces of equipment in the gym were broken. I went across the block to the Coastal Gym and bought a pass for the duration of my stay, but it was annoying to expect a gym at the hotel to be met with a room full of non-functioning equipment. The staff was super nice though and everything else was adequate.

Loved the people here. Some of the gym equipment was broken & the hot tub was scalding hot! We couldn't get more than our feet in which was really disappointing. The room was big & bed was awesome! We will return for sure!

All the food in the vending machine was expired and the drink machine was out of order. Our room was not super clean and was outdated. The bathroom door opened up to the shower so you had to climb over the toilet to get to the shower with the door open.

There is NO ELEVATOR for rooms on 2nd floor. Plumbing fixtures are newer, unusual to have bar-type sink in room in addition to full bath. Long counter in room + moderate counter in bathroom. Comfortably firm bed and pillows. Quiet room. Wallpaper peeling in a few places. Less lights than expected. Bkfst: cereals, eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, muffins, juices, coffee & teas, fruit. Friendly staff.

This is my review from staying at the hotel in Sep 2025. The good: the front desk guy was very professional and kind, the room’s bed was comfortable (8 out of 10), very good pillows (8 out of 10), the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was clean and everything needed was there. The bad: the main building is separate from the lobby of the hotel, so my room was on the second floor without an elevator—that means I had to pull my luggage up the stairs and to my room. Also, the bathroom shower/tub faucet wasn’t working correctly. Tip: call the front desk and ask them to put you on the first floor if you want to avoid carrying your luggage up stairs. I would stay at this hotel again as long as I was booked on the first floor.

The room was super clean, but at a price. When I opened the door I was bowled over by a super strong cleaning solution smell. Luckily there was a huge window that opened wide and it was windy out. By the time I got things into my room the smell had subsided. Nice bed and pillows sheets were clean and crisp. Good shower and refrigerator and microwave. I was in the back building and it was super quiet. Did not try the breakfast. Definitely had a bumpy start but turned out fine and would stay again.

Staff friendly, Room appeared clean until I pulled down the blanket and there were 2 long black hairs. I hope it was the housekeeper when changing the bed. We have stayed here before and will stay again. Everything else was clean. The ice machine in the hall was very loud all night, might need repairs because the motor was loud.

Ok for just a night. Nothing special. The carpet was dirty and the room didn’t smell fresh. The comforter cover has obvious stains yet they didn’t replace. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Check in was fast and easy. The room had a few issues. First I could see the stains in the chairs in the room. Wonder what went on that room. The "office" chair at the worktable was covered in hair, needed a pet roller and a vacuum. I saw where during the floor sweeping dust and hair balls were pushed into the corners and along the edge of the room. I noticed lime along the fixtures in the bathroom, needs to be replaced. I also noticed during the night the slamming doors from the other rooms was clearly heard in my room. Parking was tight for a full size pickup truck.

We had a room on the back side and it had no street noise at all! The bed was quite comfortable, though the sheets were beginning to show wear. The heater/cooler was too loud for sleeping, but was needed because of the humidity on the weekend we were there. The refrigerator was in need of a defrost so ran more than necessary, but we were glad that it worked. Overall, we felt the hotel was very nice, clean, and fairly reasonably priced. And we enjoyed the breakfasts!

Property was clean and a convenient stop on our trip along the Oregon coast! All laminate flooring in the halls made every sound echo. The ice machine was right outside our door, and the flooring amplified that sound of that as well.

It was mediocre at best. Not the worst, but definitely not the best. Decent for a small town. Customer service could have been a lot better. The pictures make it look new and clean but we had some issues with the room being clean and the fridge wasn't working properly. When I went to ask if we could switch rooms, the front desk person was very cold and dismissive and said the hotel was full, there wasn't nothing they could do. I ended up asking for a clean set of sheets and had to remake the bed myself. The breakfast attend was really nice and very attentive, albeit loud if you're sensitive to that in the morning like I am and the smell of the hot breakfast was definitely a turn off for me. We also had some pretty loud neighbors in the hallway fairly late at night both nights. All in all, it served it's purpose, just barely, of a place to sleep while we go experience the nature of the middle coast of Oregon during the day. My advice is doing spend too much on it. It was a very convenient location.

Friendly staff, clean facility. I was staying on the second floor in the back. The doors to the back of the main building were not in use so I had to walk around to the front every time I needed something, and my key card took 2-3 swipes before activating. Again, staff were kind and attentive, decent breakfast, and clean.

Stay was ok. Long line checking in with only 1 employee at the desk. Called in the morning and no answer from the desk, so service could be better with another employee. Apparently they are either updating, or in the process of updating, but they clearly had not done my room yet. Mattress was not comfortable, microwave was not powerful enough to pop popcorn, and the hair dryer was broken. Maybe it will be better when they renovate. I hope so.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Our car battery died and they were able to give local advice on getting it replaced. My kids all agreed that the breakfast sausage at the complimentary breakfast was very good. We found the room and beds comfortable.

We enjoyed the location as it was exactly what we needed as a stop over on our trip down the Oregon coast. It was a short drive to the Heceta Head Lighthouse and the Sea Lion Caves, which was the reason for us staying over in Florence.

Lighting in the parking lot felt unsafe for the rooms being in a building in the back without an elevator. A lot of men with alcohol hanging in the area with poor lighting. Trash overflowed near entry to the building in the back

Breakfast is offered..but shredded haf raw bacon and limp microwave sausage feels like outerspace food. Someone please teach stafg hiw to make coffee...pale brown transparent water is not coffee. Staff very friendly.rooms very clean good value. Please less fattening carbs for food!

I found my room to be clean and comfortable. A bit of a noisy hallway at times, but that's not the fault of the hotel, but rather, rude travelers. Breakfast was ok rotating days w/variety of scrambled eggs cheese omlets, sausage, bacon, hash, pastries, bread and bagels with a toaster, cereal, juice and make your own waffles), but l only wanted fresh fruit and tea which they had plenty. Parking was safe and convenient. I would recommend especially because the price was reasonable! Staff was responsive and friendly.
