Pool needed to be cleaned!

Front desk person less than gracious to deal with. All rooms have outside access. Breakfast was poor. Area around motel was sketchy.

Really should have an elevator. The guy at the front was really nice and immediately changed us to the 1st floor when i told him my grams is in a wheelchair. The toilet in the room def needed to be replaced. But all in all it was decent fir what i paid.

Property looks like it has been recently renovated. Very clean and quiet. Right off I 65 . Lots of shopping around it Breakfast was included. Eggs sausage waffles cereal,just your basic breakfast and we'll organized. Very friendly and welcoming receptionist.

Property was easily accessible and staff were very friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast was good and we were even given first floor rooms since we would have struggled with the stairs given there is no elevator. Would definitely stay here again.

One office staff not there to serve the customers. I had to pointedly ask twice to have the pool opened (housekeeping staff alerted us that pool repairs were complete several days ago). The person, being a former school teacher, was concerned about our noise that evidently prevented her from doing her job (6:30am in the breakfast area/lobby). We were a group of 19 golfers, but the quietest group of 19 you will ever hear.

This is a decent & very clean Best Western Hotel right off I65 & very quiet too. Room was very clean with many electrical outlets which made it very convenient for recharging phones, iPad and everything else needing electricity. Beds were comfortable too which is top priority! Even tho we booked this 1-night stay thru hotels.com (3rd party), they told us at the front desk we couldn’t have our choice of room and they couldn’t switch anything around for us & because they were all booked up already. There is no elevator there but we were able to get a lower level & back as far as we wanted to avoid hearing road traffic. That’s exactly what we got, so we were very happy with our stay & the great service we received. Checkout was a breeze too. So thank u Best Western. If we’re ever in the area again, this is one place we’d come back to!

The room smelled like smoke. The sheets were ripped. The floor was dirty, needed to be cleaned & vacuumed. The shower had a used bar of soap sitting in the corner.

It was a very clean no frills basic room. Bed slept well. But the non-smoking room smelled very smoky.

The bed sheets weren't clean. Blood spots and smears on a pillow case, and stains in the sheets. Actual blood, not just stains. Told the reception so they could change the sheets while we went out to eat, but he did nothing while we were gone. We ended up getting the sheets and putting them on ourselves Rooms were clean enough but could have been better.

I reserved a nonsmoking room. All three of the rooms had an overwhelming smell of recent cigarette usage which infiltrated everything. The white sheets had scattered human hair lodged in them. They had blood stains. The first room toilet had urine on the seat. I called the front desk as soon as I arrived in the room.The young man was polite and apologetic. He took use from room 208 to 214 which he closed the door right away the smell was worst absolutely horrendous. I asked for a refund but he said he couldn’t give a refund of my 145 dollars. Then he said let me take you to room 114 which also smelled of cigarette. It was dark/raining and I was stuck. In a strange area with two asthmatic children in a room that was a health hazard. We slept in our clothes on top of the bedding. We didn’t shower or touch anything we didn’t need to touch. We checked out as soon as the sun came up at 6am. I called hotels.com to report this issue and spoke to two ladies at the front desk.

Very clean and comfortable

The property is very smelly. Both rooms we tried had horribly cigarette smoke smell and they were nonsmoking rooms. Seemed clean but did did not stay there and will not again. No way this has 8 rating. Waiti ng for my refund

Our room reeked of cigarettes even though it’s supposed to be non smoking. We asked for another and were moved to another room that reeked of cigarettes. Aside from that, it’s fine.

Bathtub was really dirty. Breakfast over at 9 on a sunday. Comfort had blood stain on it. Cleaning people did understand any English. Cleaners knocked on the door at 9AM to see when we were leaving. check out was 11AM. Very shabby for a BW, and plenty of other places to stay there. Gal at the check in was great.

Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was good. Room was very clean on arrival.

Turn the air on before we show up. The room was 85 degrees and took an hour to cool

This hotel is located off of I-65 South in the middle of a commercial District with many different restaurants and a Super Walmart, in case you needed something. The staff was customer service oriented. The lobby and breakfast area was immaculate. Our room was totally renovated top to bottom - nice. It appeared that all rooms were being renovated. Oh, and it was quiet!

Older property, but not bad at all. Rooms are modernized, and comfortable. Everything was clean, and property was maintained well.

It was ok, they were redoing the rooms but ours hadnt been redone yet. The bed was nice but needed better pillows but over all not bad.

Newly renovated rooms. Easy, polite check in even at midnight when we arrived.

We would've been very happy with our stay and the room had the air been turned on. We opened the door to an oven. When we called to see if another room might be available was told that all rooms had air turned off and we were expected to call ahead and request the air be turned on. Took til 1 am (checked in around 9 pm) for the room to be cool enough for my husband to be able to sleep. Other than that everything was great. Would not recommend tho, due to the issue with the temp of the room.

The room was perfect, comfortable and spacious. The hot breakfast was excellent, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, etc. Also very friendly and helpful staff.

Spacious room with clean sheets and plenty of fresh towels. Friendly front desk employee for quick check-in. The mattress was very hard which is not my personal preference. Convenience stores, shopping, and food choices in close proximity.

One downside is the room was NOT air conditioned when I arrived. Took and hour to get the room under 80F….

Twila who greeted and checked us in was very nice and helpful. We arrived after snow storm of the century which caused all of the surrounding restaurants and fast food places to be shut down. They had never gotten snow and ice like this. Further down the interstate had been closed. Even the Walmart shut down! We were able to get food at the Circle K right next to the hotel. The room was very clean. The beds are on metal stands and the mattresses moved some on them if you knocked up against them. We were traveling with pets and able to get a ground floor room which opened directly into the parking space making it very easy to get in and out. The breakfast was good.

Overpaid for what I was quoted and the host was quite rude about it. Wouldn’t take the time to explain why it was so much. Basically said to take it or leave it. No one available when I dropped off the keys when leaving the property at 7:30 am.

Room was clean everyday and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They easily took care of my needs and changes to my schedule for a longer stay. They were efficient, accommodating, and most of all…nice. Will be staying again when in the area. Thank you.

WORST MOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!! I drove and arrived late with my teen daughter. Only needed to sleep 5 hours. Hotel clerk which I expect is the manager (middle eastern maybe) was very rude and aggressive towards me which was frightening since I am traveling a one with a female child. The room I was given smelled moldy and I went back to the office and asked for another room. The clerk said he could come and spray my room and I said, no thank you, I'd like another room. He then told me there were no rooms available. There were less than 12 cars ont he property and I said, "You aren't booked up obviously, you have another room?" His repsonse was " Are you asking me or telling me?" Confused by his response, I asken him what he said and he then repeated the phrase slowly and more intentionally so I have the keys back and asked for a refund. He said I would need to go through expedia. I called expedia immediately after and they couldn't reach the hotel. They continued to try for a week to resolve this and didn't so I now have to dispute with my credit card. DON'T GO THERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN> THERE IS CLEARLY ZERO RESPECT FOR THEM CULTURALLY. This man just may be dangerous. He parks his personal grey/ dark beige van in the front where motel guests are supposed to park, BEWARE!

We got in around midnight from driving all day in the heat, young man could care less and showed little effort to be friendly. Clean hotel, bed comfortable, great shower

The young man who checked me in (wish I knew his name) was amazing. Not only did he make me laugh after a very trying day, but he was extremely considerate of our situation. We had to trailer our motorcycle home after my husband fell ill & this young man made sure we had a safe place to park. He went above & beyond. I'd rate him a 12 out of 10!

When checking in, we were checked in by the rudest person ever. We reserved 2 rooms because we have 3 girls who are ages 13,13, and 14. He continually asked us their age and kept asking which kids were staying in what room. He accused me of saying all the girls would be staying in a room, which I never said. We were also charged $22 a kid when we thought we paid in full. We bought 2 rooms, which sleep 7 people in total and were charged more! He also was very suspect when he took my husbands credit card to pay the additional fees. He said he ran the card, and when my husband tried to take it back he told him he couldn’t have it because we don’t know what he’s doing on his screen because we can’t see it. He had his phone out and it looked like he was taking a picture of his card. Terrible check in experience, we will never stay at a Best Western again. We will be calling to talk to management as well.

It was a nice clean place to stay for one night passing through on our way to Nola. Right off the interstate it felt safe and places to get food nearby

Room was clean and pleasant. Daily cleaning was excellent. Overall very nice stay. Stayed 4 nights and found it very comfortable will definitely stay there again next year. Did not however like the accessibility from the Highway. No fault of the establishment but the entrance can be frustrating.

Worst breakfast options. Waffle batter was sour but host tried to pass it off as buttermilk. Multiple people complained. Out of things and told they didn’t have more. No hand washing or gloves by staff handling food. Staff came to room to clean at 9:00 AM when checkout was 11:00. Rude woman at the desk. Really showed they couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction.

Breakfast was plentiful and good

The breakfast buffet was awful. Sour milk. Took one bite out of my bagel and had to spit it out. Don't know how a bagel can taste sour, but it did! I wasn't brave enough to try it the morning.

Very nice stay! The hotel was clean and upgraded, and we loved the free Continental breakfast. It included delicious fresh waffles, toast, eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee, juice and cereal.

All was good but at 7 30 am we came down for breakfast and it was all gone and no sign of putting out more.
