Super 8 by Wyndham Commerce

I did not feel safe at this hotel security on site would be a plus

I did not end up staying. I went to Quality Inn right across the street. Super 8 motel office smelled bad like mold and musk. The computer system was down and they would not let me look at the rooms first. Then when I booked a room across at Quality Inn I heard regulars saying that cops get called every other night and that it is not safe.

Office not open. Had to go to Ho Jo office. They did not have the rooms I had reserved. Did not seem to care. Finally got our rooms after showing them print out from Expedia. Had to beg them for towels. Floors filthy and gritty. No ice in ice machine. Had to get ice at Ho Jo. Will not stay there again. May not use Expedia again.

Room was awful. Poorly patched holes, sticky carpet. It was clean for the poor shape the room was in. Two poor quality pillows that provided little comfort and zero wifi when I got back Saturday night as well. Drunk people partying loudly in the parking lot and beside my room with public urinating in front of my car. The trash and half eaten food thrown all over the grass areas was an extra nice touch. The empty cases of beer left on the sidewalk, that I tripped over as u was leaving, was a nice parting gift.

This hotel is more like a motel. Bad conditions. Run down. Beware!! False advertising!!!!! I booked this location because it said included breakfast and showed pictures of you're typical hotel breakfast bar/offerings. This was NOT true! They gave each guest a small granola bar and coffee at the front desk. They are doing renovations so you have to check in at the Howard Johnson. This was such a horrible stay....beds super uncomfortable! Not worth the $173 per night!!!

When we arrived we had to ck in at the Howard Johnson (which is right up the hill from the Super 8) I know this has been mentioned in other posts so I am not sure if it was due to the time I checked in (it was after midnight) or if this is the norm. My room was reserved for the Super 8 for a room with 1 queen bed but when I ck in they had no queen beds available and tried to offer me a room with 2 doubles. I declined as I requested a queen because that was what I wanted and I had reserved the room several days in advance. They did offer me a queen at the Howard Johnson with no increase in charges and the person I dealt with was nice. The room I was given actually had 2 queens. The room was decent but was not very clean. The floors had what looked like sheet rock debris on them. There was a dryer that use to hang on the wall that was now beside the sink on the counter. The counter did not look like it had been wiped down. The towels in the bathroom were very thin and smelt as though they were new and had never been washed(at least I hope that was what the smell was- it was not a fresh smell). It was not very updated but I didn't really expect much for the price I was paying but I do expect clean. There were condoms all over the walk ways walking to the rooms. There was also an ally way that you have to go down to get to the stairs for the top rooms.

I was able to park my work Trailer with no problem had enough space to get out in the mornign as well.

No one at desk st 8 PM ever! Finally saw a calling card with manager’s name and number. So, I called and they told me to go to HJ Motel next door to check in. Could never get internet or TV to work.

Grease all over the phone, the room smelled as cigar shop, the conforter was stained and very dirty, trashcans were with trash in them, bathtub stained

The room was terrible. It smelled like smoke, counters were dirty and fingerprints can be seen everywhere. Popcorn ceiling was falling down, chair was filthy, the linens had cigarette burns,sink faucet barely had running water, the floor was soaked from the air conditioner , and the rug was dirty with multiple snags. The curtains had mildew and outside the room and stairs were filthy. This property needs to be updated and cleaned! I would not recommend staying here.

The first room they put us in was nasty. It was sticky and the tub was dirty. We asked for them to clean it while we were gone and they said they did thavethe staff for it. They did give us a different room. It was cleaner but needed a face lift desperately.

The room was in poor condition. The upholstered chair was so dirty that we did not choose to sit in it. Peeling paint off the ceiling had crumbled onto the floor making me wonder when it had last been vacuumed. There was black marker on the wall in the vanity area stating “____was here.” We found a bottle of baby oil between the bed and the wall, showing the cleaners weren’t efficient. My pillowcase did not look clean. We had prepaid and did stay for 2 nights since the beds were comfortable, but it was the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. Mind you, the room we stay in was our second room because when we walked in the first one they assigned us, there was a yucky smell and a plywood board covering the window about the door where there seemed to be a broken window. I am not picky about hotels. I just need to feel like it’s a clean place. This was not! Finally, the website claimed the would be a breakfast included and there was not.

The whole place was dirty and should be inspected for health violations!

The rooms have bugs mosquitoes and coch roaches...they were smelly..the carpet was kind of sticky

I would have took pictures but my phone was dead and none of the outlets worked except the one the T.V was in. I had to charge my phone in my car. I do not even know where to begin. Ok yes, it was a budget friendly place to stay so Ive always gave grace when booking and not expected perfection. BUT, let\'s be clear, budget friendly does not mean down right nasty. Outdated, old crappie mattresses and pillows, yes - but this was just horrible and nasty from the time you opened the door. Where do I start... When we opened the door you were hit with a stench of musty pet ruined carpet and smoke. (it was supposed to be non smoking)The carpet were horrible, huge stains and completely missing in some spots. The bedspread and sheets were stained and had what I can only assume were cigarette burn holes. The headboard has obviously never been wiped as it had caked dust and pet hair all over it. NONE of the outlets worked except the one the TV was plugged in. The shower / bathroom was just filthy. Yall... it was bad. My daughter said and I quote " mom, we really need to go get our own blankets, this is going to give us a skin disease. Do not book this place, just dont. We travel for competitions, stayed in plenty of budget friendly places but this is the bottom of the barrel. I have never stayed at a Super8 until this trip and believe me I dont plan to stay at another one ever again. Yes, it was definitely THAT BAD.

This property was unique in that it had roaches. I've never been to a motel that had it this bad. It was awful. I bought Raid and that made the situation worse. I had to get out of the room. The cleanliness is not too bad for the price of the hotel and the staff is kind, but roaches are unacceptable. Expedia should be ashamed recommending this place, and other customers have said the same thing but Expedia continues to advertise this property. I'm disappointed in you, Expedia!

This was probably the worst motel I’ve stayed in I travel a lot for work during storms and I couldn’t even work because the WiFi was so bad it wouldn’t let me connect. It said no smoking and my room smelled like smoke when I first got there. There were also 5 different occasions I saw bugs in my room one was a huge spider. Not even worth changing rooms bc if there’s bugs in one room there are bugs in all. Won’t be coming back!

I’m 76 yo and this was the worst hotel experience of my life. Broken knobs on hvac, disgusting chipped and stained toilet seat, insects, sad mattress, and broken furniture. A tv without volume control on the remote. We fled the room at 4:00am to resume our trip.

Kind of run down motel. Too expensive for what you get. The AC worked at least and wasn't overly loud. It's a $50 dollar motel charging you $88.

They didn't have my reservation after 7 hrs of rain and traffic and charged for ESA service animal.

The staff was very rude when I called the front desk due to fireworks being let off and debris falling on my vehicle the lady at the front desk said there was nothing she could do about it there was also no breakfast as advertised and no cribs Available as advertised and could not get more towels

We always Check-in with Renee at the front desk.When me and my husband stay and she is the most polite.Kind patient friendly woman who goes out of her way to preanticipate every guest needs and we have become what we consider to be Regulars of this certain location and renee Is our very favorite Employee at this wyndham super eight motel. She makes the check in process very easy ,especially Especially for us because my husband and I always do an early Check-in and she is always able to get us in a room quickly before the 3 o'clock. Check-in time at whatever time we request and if she can't. She does her very best to get us as close as she can. She's amazing and one of the main reasons. We continue to come back.

I have stayed at many Super8 properties in many states, but this was by far the worst Super8 i have ever stayed at. Property is severely run down and in desperate need of maintenance redo. Major plumbing and electrical problems in both of our rooms. We were also surrounded by what seemed to be transient rooms. Was approached several times in parking lot asking if we needed any drugs or "company" during our stay. Both were being peddled in plain sight. Management passed right by many times and did nothing. So much for "family friendly". Never again.

I did not like anything about this hotel. They said they had breakfast. A big sign on the front door, "NO BREAKFAST BC OF COVID 19. REALLY?? Went to Super 8 lobby. A note to go to a different lobby. I'm disabled and it's hard to get in and out of car. The place was shabby and looked like a drug dealers den.i demanded a refund and at first he refused. Then I was told to call travelocity to get a refund. I would not leave a sick animal there. Yuck!!!!

The bedding was super clean and fresh. The towels were full and fluffy. A/C was cold and water in bath tub was hot. Did not like the complimentary breakfast of coffee, juice, and granola bars. No fruit or breads.

Not sure orange juice, coffee, and breakfast bars really constitute “breakfast included”.
